Not happy with location. was told that it was close to the center of the Parkway, but it was at light 10 which is the last light before the National park. Conveinent to park but farther from Aquarium, Hard Rock, etc

They're in the process of rennovating most of the bottom floor so parking is a bit of a pain but other than that it's a decent enough place for the price. kind of out of the way and hard to find without a gps.

Ok now this motel, is not the BEST, but it is cheap and we where just sleeping there! So it fit that need, it was CLEAN and comfortable. The view wasn't the best, the service wasn't the best, neither was the breakfast. BUT we where on a family vaca and was trying to SAVE money and this place is cheap!! CLEAN and good for a place to lay you head at night […] and then back up and at them in the morning. It is right at the entrance of the Smoky Park that was GREAT! (saved time not having to fight traffic to get to park) Seeming we where there to hike and place in God creation! Not shop and ride go-carts!(but yet close enough if you want to walk down) So it is the place to stay if you can just be thankful for a warm bed and a minimal breakfast. Mehr

the staff was nice but the hotel was not in middle on town that location said but at the end of town also the door to get into our room had been kicked in or something the door frame was busted at lock this was not a very secure room it was patched poorly the bottom screw that held lock plate to frame had nothing to hold to so the door did not close […] tightly at all on room 244 Mehr

The hotel lobby was not impressive and the upstairs of the lobby was in poor shape. After leaving the lobby we were scared to see our room but it turned out to be pretty nice. The breakfast did not have a lot of selection. It had two cereals, glazed doughnuts, toast, and waffles with milk, orange juice, or coffee. Had a coulple block walk to get down […] to the shops but it's not terrible. Overall you get a good value for the money and besides, you are not really in Gatlinburg to stay in your room all day. The first room that I checked in smelled like mold, and the floor was wet. Then I moved to a second room and that floor was wet too! The third room was fine but the key card wouldn't work after about 2 hours, so I had to go back to the office. I'm sure the clerk at the desk hated me at this point. It is nice place but the bathrooms need to be bigger like take that wall beside toilet out beds need be a little more softer felt like I was sleeping on the floor.

The cleaning staff was awesome. The free breakfast gross, first morning of our 7 night stay was excited to go make a waffle & a roach was crawling right on the counter next to the hard pastries!! Grossed me out! The clerks are helpful. The breakfast room pics are very decieving, the room is above the counter, & is about 10x10 space, if even that big! […] We had 2 rooms & in 1 room the toilet broke continuously!! Fighting right across the street!! & mexican workers hanging out day & night, starring at you constantly! Never again, not worth it, never felt safe!! Mehr

We wanted to stay cheep and I think we found a place we never stay in the room so this was perfect not a place to stay if you spend alot of time in the room just a plain place... The plus to this place is the location walking distance to the strip and its cheap... we would stay there again due to the price and the closeness to everything...

It was ok at best. It seemed really "dated". Breakfast was "store bought" doughnuts. (Saw the boxes on the counter beside the area it was served in.) Had a waffle iron, but it was out of order. Room was clean, just had a little bit of a musty odor. The bed was not comfortable at all. Service and friendliness of associates was fantastic. The use of convention center in the title is deceiving. This is a small hotel on a seedy side street.

Overall the stay was not bad. The rooms were clean, there was free wifi, and plenty of space. We opted for a room with a jacuzzi, which is built into the main room so you can watch TV while relaxing. The staff was friendly and always available. The rooms are a little outdated but comfortable. The showers had great water pressure, which is sometimes […] an issue in the mountains. The only drawback is the distance to downtown Gatlinburg- it's about a 1/4-2/3 mile walk before you get to the main strip. I give this hotel a 3.5 out of 5 stars. Mehr

this was not a pleasant stay, we checked in she gave us the room key , Went to room it was dirty and the door was wide open . There were ant's in the microwave . asked for housekeeping not to come to are room because we were there 2 nights , not only did they come to are room but they went through are belonging's, went to make coffee in the room there […] was an old coffee filter still in the pot full of mold, so we decide to go to the breakfast area , the waffle maker was so dirty it looked like it had not been cleaned in a very long time .The parking lot was full of trash had to wait for the lady at the front desk when when I went to check out . because she was making herself breakfast. also it states it is close to the convention center it is blocks away from the center. I stay at hotels all the time for business. This is the worst place I ever stayed at Mehr

Room was semi clean, no one had checked the coffe pot. There was a molded filter in there. Didn't use it. Bed was comfortable and I did check for bed bugs and did not find any. So that's a plus. Shower and bathroom seemed clean. It was fine for one night.

This hotel is no hidden gem. It's priced perfectly for what you're getting. I read several reviews in the property before making my reservation and based on the reviews, requested a lower level room (a review claimed mold in 2nd story room(s)). The location was within walking distance of the main strip, however not much in the immediate area, so we […] drove or took the trolley (which stops at hotel). If you're looking for a cheap hotel and don't mind driving into the center of town ($5-$10 for all day parking), than this hotel is perfect. Mehr

The hotel could use some updating & a better breakfast offer but the staff were very nice & the hotel was convienent to the shops & other attractions.

The people were really nice, but the hotel room itself was dirty. It had a foul odor and the bed was very uncomfortable.

If you are looking for a no-frills, fairly inexpensive hotel, it is okay. My biggest complaint was mold on the ceiling and wall of my first room and the horrible smell. I was lucky to be able to switch to another room since it was Thursday. If it had been a day later, I would have been out of luck since they were totally booked. This hotel is old and […] has had a lot of roof leaks in prior years. It may not be a problem on the first floor but was obvious on the second floor. You will pay extra for a balcony which looks out onto a multiple floor condo building and some trees. It also states mountain-view, but you don't see any mountains from your room or balcony. If you get a cheap rate and just need a place to sleep for a few hours, then you should be satisfied. Otherwise, pay a few extra bucks and look at some of the other area hotels. Mehr

The hotel is definitely dated. The tv was an old projection tv that did not get several basic channels, which stunk because the Baseball playoffs was on and that was one of the channels that didn't come in. A light burned out and started smoking while I was there. No hair-dryer in the room. The only real plus was that it was a pet friendly hotel. […] You had to search a little bit for the walking areas, but a few hundred yards down the road was the entrance to the 2-mile Gatlinburg Trail which is one of 2 dog friendly trails in the Smoky Mountains Park. This is not part of a convention center like the name leads you to believe! The red roof convention center is on the other end of town. This is a very old motel that they have somewhat renovated by putting a large jacuzzi in the corner of the room. many tiles were missing around it and it started making very loud noises in the middle of the night.

This hotel was not in a horrible location but the room quality was very low. It was a non smoking room that smelt horrible, the AC unit smelled as well, shower head had very low pressure and had a very small tub. The trip was a lot o fun but didn't want to spend any time in the room.

Freindly staff and close walk to town makes this an enjoyable place to stay for the price

Great price for the room! The rooms are clean and pretty but stink of mold.

Carpet was moist, and the room smelled like cat urine. Shower head was sized to be ADA compliant for a little person.

Positives: Very clean room, quiet surrounding area, great rate for the Jacuzzi room. within walking distance of downtown gatlinburg (saved us on gas and parking!) friendly staff, good breakfast. Negatives: our bedsheets had a small hole in the middle (wasn't bad enough to need changed), after leaving the AC on for a full day it smelled mildewy but […] not awful. the shower knob for the cold water was messed up in the bathroom however, maintenance came in and fixed it right away with no issues. overall would stay there again in a heartbeat! the Jaccuzzi was a wonderful addition after going horseback riding! good hotel for the price. liked that it had a trolley stop at the hotel cause there no free parking anywhere downtown, we had to even pay to park to eat at resturants. the managment was very nice and polite.

We booked this hotel because of the convenience to the main strip and the pics make the hotel look beautiful, BUT... When we first arrived there was a woman complaining about a dog that wouldn't stop barking and the manager couldn't do anything about it. Then we go to out room and the carpets were rather gross. There was a hair on the shower wall and […] mold in the corners. We went to the free breakfast and were surprised to find a fresh waffle maker! That was nice, but then the juice was super watered down. They served old stale krispy Kreme doughnuts as well. Over all the plus was convenience and price, but you Definitly get what u pay for. It was clean in the room. The gave us clean towels and such. The bugs outside were all over the place. But none in the rooms. The pool was clean. The people were nice. The fireplace in the room was not usuable. It was w/in walking distance to the main street in Gatlinburg. There were surrounding motels that were either abandoned or in poor condition. […] And not very well lit area. But it wasnt too frightening. If you need to stay in a low cost place its not a bad place. Mehr

Not a long walk to the strip, clean room and employees were courteous. Wasn't too impressed by surrounding "establishments" .

Very good place to stay. The guy at the front desk was the friendliest of any place I've stayed. Would highly recommend this to anyone and will stay there again next time I'm in the area!

A little off the beaten path which was good as far as noise level was concerned. EASY access to downtown and trolley stops!! Room was nice and clean!! Best front desk service ever! Lisa (day) and Angie (night) were wonderful!!! They handled all questions and problems with ease and a smile!!! Will stay there again!!!

The amount I paid was reasonable. "PET FRIENDLY" "Where is the grass!" Carpet looked stained, when I walked in the room for the first time. We were very attentive to our dog, so was our son in their room.

The hotel was nice. The staff was awesome, especially Lisa at the front desk. The price was great, and our bed was comfortable. Room was very clean. We did not use the pool, but it was nice and private. Would come and stay again on our next visit to Gatlinburg.

The room had dirty sheets when we got there. We woke up itching during the night. There was fresh dry wall plaster on the ceiling from patching. There was mold on the ceiling. The sheets and towells were old and dingy. This place is terrible and a disgrace to beautiful Gatlinburg. I knew it would not be a great room due to the price and reviews but […] we wanted a room for a decent price where we could walk through the city. We will never stay at this hotel again. Mehr
