The room was very comfortable. Soft towels, Nice exercise/swimming area. The only problem was that the treadmill was out of order, though they did have an eliptical machine and a bicycle. Great full breakfast.

Nice hotel, clean rooms, good free breakfast.

Very nice Hotel. Clean comfortable Room. The lobby was very nice with cookies, coffee and hot chocolate. The only drawback was a big party group stayed on the 3rd floor next to me keeping us awake for several hours late into the night.

Hotel was very nice and clean , only thing I would have liked to have would be a mini fridge

The only bad thing I can say was that I got woken up by a train at 2 am.

Clean, updated building and hotel rooms. We were very satisfied with our visit.

This hotel was a great example of why I always try to stay at Hampton Inn's when I book through hotels.com I really appreciated the nice staff, good breakfast, and quality of the room. It was a good deal and I will stay here again if business brings me back to Cedar Rapids as long as there are rooms available. I'm kicking myself for waiting on booking […] for the second night I stayed in town. I waited too long and there were no more available rooms at this Hampton Inn and I had a horrible stay at a hotel across the street. A tough lesson learned I suppose. Mehr

One of the nicest rooms we have ever stayed in for a hotel in this class. Wish we could have stayed here longer. Next trip we will.

The hotel was clean and comfortable with free high sped wireless internet. Desk clerks were pleasant, the hotel was quiet, maid service efficient. An overall nice stay at a very reasonable price.

We were in area for a graduation. Our teenage Grandaughter was with us & enjoyed the pool & fitness room. I liked that the fitness room overlooked the pool. Our room was very comfortable. Breakfast in the morning, hearty. I would have liked some salsa or hot sauce to put on the omelet. Our Grandaughter loved the waffles. We enjoyed our stay at the Hampton Inn tremendously. It was comfortable, clean, and the staff was very accommodating. Excellent breakfast also!

We were delighted at the well-appointed room with its desk and king-sized bed. But what made the stay special was the staff member in the breakfast area who answered questions and then talked with us and even made us a waffle! Lovely.

This was a wonderful hotel, very clean, very quite, and a wonderfully helpful staff. I plan on staying here every time I am in Cedar Rapids!

Traveled a bit further because the rate was lower here than at the Hampton which was closer to my ultimate destination. Had not stayed here before. Was impressed with the service, comfort and cleanliness of this hotel.

We had a really good stay. We were there for a nearby college football game and thought it would be crowded and crazy. It was very nice. We had the pool to ourself for quite awhile and even though the morning buffet was busy, the staff were friendly and kept food supplied and cleaned tables. The hotel rooms have just been remodeled and they are very nice. Decoration is very tasteful, the beds have down-like bedding (no polyester bedspreads!) The double beds had 4 pillows each. There were 2 full-length mirrors. The bathroom mirror had 3 angles so when the bathroom door was open, you could see the back of your head when styling your hair […] because one of the full length mirrors was on the bathroom door. There was great water pressure and the bathroom was done in tile. The room had a much more upscale feel than what I was expecting based on the price. There was also a lap desk provided and a small writing area/desk and closet. The pool & hot tub was nice & clean. The pool was a bit small. But there were lots of sitting areas and tables in the pool area. The was also a small fitness area looking out to the pool. The free breakfast in the morning was good. Cereal, yogurt, bagels, biscuits, sauage, waffles, muffins, fruit. No eggs, at least not the day we were there. Good basic breaksfast. And there was coffee, tea and hot chocolate avaiable in the lobby 24/7. Overall I was very impressed with this hotel and would absolutey stay there again! Mehr

I've stayed at this Hotel multiple times, mainly when I couldn't get a room elsewhere. The rooms look to be updated within the past two years, and they are fairly clean. The hallways however, reek of cigarette smoke, and the lobby, breakfast area and elevators need an upgrade. The fitness center is very small and equipment is poor. The staff has also […] been inconsistent, either very friendly or totally rude, depending on who is working. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel unless you have no other options. Mehr
