"Great location!"
All we wanted was a decent hotel close to the Scandanive Spa - and that's what we got! The free breakfast was good, and the room was comfortable! (could have been a little cleaner - bathroom specifically!) but we were happy and satisfied!
"Great for an overnight stop"
The rooms are a bit small and spartan but the beds are comfortable and room clean. Fine for 2 people, it world be a bit crowded for 4 perhaps. We were on our way to Blue Mtn for an event the next day, this was prefect for an overnight stop. Not much around it but we were not staying around anyway. Excellent hot breakfast too
"Nice place to rest your head"
Great experience. After a slight blip at the start (original room was not clean), our room was perfect. The Front Desk rep called about 5 minutes after we got into the room just checking that everything was OK. That was really appreciated. Very comfortable stay..great location.

This is an old hotel that has had a face lift. Bathroom was small and had no counter space, old steel tub and tile but it was clean. Tray for in room coffee had not been cleaned in a long time, full of dust, suger and coffee whitener. Room heater did not maintain temp set on dial. Pool was nice and warm temperature as well. We enjoyed our stay at this location, across from Georgian Mall, especially enjoy the in house buffet breakfast, did not have to go out in the snow, will definitley stay there again. Carol

"Holiday inn blue mt. Annoying housekeeping"
Overall, the hotel was clean, staff is friendly and the location is close to amenities. However, during my stay I was interrupted twice by housekeeping and this was unnecessary and annoying.

The hotel has a great location, good breakfast, but the rooms were not overly clean, and the pool was extremely cold.

Desk clerk was very friendly, helpful and welcoming. any needs were met effiently and quickly. Also included was a lovely hot breakfast. Definitely a place to return.

Simple but comfortable hotel, close to the mountain, hot breakfast is a very convenient before setting out to the slopes.

both light bulbs were blown in bed side lamp. Also the toilet did not flush and needed adjustment. It was running when we arrived, so it should have been a known problem...

"Great Time"
Stayed here with my boyfriend for a weekend snowboarding trip. We had a great time, the night front desk man was very nice. My boyfriend enjoyed the breakfast but I couldn't get out of the bed cause it was too nice!! Ten minutes from Blue, lots of stuff around the hotel (food/shopping/etc). The only thing I wish is that they had a hot tub!!!

"Holiday Inn Collingwood"
Original room was only a one star in our view for the rate we paid- had very little furniture and Queen bed - older type of TV. We complained to the Hotel management and was upgraded to a much better room with a Kingsize bed - would rate it a 3 star. Service, meal, cleanliness were good. Would not recommend it for the price
"great for one nighters"
everything was adaquite. bed was a little harder then i was used to.
We were so pleased with the hotel, especially the comfort of being able to have a little kitchenette where we made coffee and had a little snack. Also the breakfast was wonderful, and hot, and varied. Thank you. Anne

some lights in our room did not work. Garbage under the bed. Our room has a really bad smell when we walked in. That was a big turnoff. So by the next day all our clean clothes smelled that way. Gross! Even our children felt that way. So for the price we paid it was definitely not worth it. We do not recommend it and we certainly won't be back.
This hotel was pretty good not the best but good. We had a problem with the tv remote and they replaced it within 15 min. The breakfast was very good. The hotel was close to restaurants, shopping and movie theatre.

"Good, nothing spectacular"
We just used this hotel for a night stay, and it met my expectations. The breakfast was excellent and the staff was great. The room was pretty stuffy and stale, but the A/C took care of that. It was not a spectacular place, but, being an express and having it as a place just to spend the night, it was just fine for us. "Collingwood Ontario"
The hotel staff was great. Room was better than expected for a small town. Close to resturants and attractions in the area. Very quite area. Would recommend to friends and relatives.

good 3 Star-complimentary breakfast was hot and testeful- but smalll area to eat made for some very crowded breakfast especially on Saturday morning. Rooms are OK- a littel "tired" as was the carpet in the hallways. overall good value for money and a good central location in Collingwood

The hotel was close to everything...stores, various types of restaurants. places to walk and run, easy drive to beach and Blue Mountain. The complimentary breakfast was awesome, and the lady who kept it all going was always ready to help or replace more food. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the pool was sufficient. WE ARRIVED AT THE HOTEL AT NOON AND WAS TOLD OUR ROOM WOULDNT BE READY TILL 2PM....WE LEFT AND CAME BACK AT 2PM AND STILL NOT READY.....WE WAITED IN THE LOBBY TILL ALMOST 3PM AND THE GIRL BEHIND DESK WENT TO CHECK ON IT AND WE FINALLY GOT INTO THE ROOM JUST AFTER 3PM...NEXT DAY WE LEFT AT 9AM AND CAME BACK AT 2:30 AND ROOM NOT MADE UP BUT THOUGHT THEY […] WERE JUST BUSY AND WAITED UNTIL 5:30 WHEN WE TOLD THE FRONT DESK WE WERE GOING TO DINNER COULD THEY GET THE ROOM MADE UP FOR US.....WHEN WE GOT BACK IT WAS DONE....LOCATION WAS GOOD STAFF FRIENDLY, BREAKFAST EXCELLENT AND ROOM WAS QUIET AND COZY.... Once we entered our room, there was a fly, which was quite unfortunate. The overall look of the hotel was very clean and neat however, once it came time to sleep, the sheets irritated the family (itchiness). It was very convenient to buy food, and to shop. The pool was quite small, and the gym was very bad. At times it was difficult to open doors with […] the hotel cards because the scanners weren't functionally properly. "umcomfortable bed"
this hotel is nice, movie theater, food and shopping accros the street. The only thing is the beds are really really hard. I felt like i was sleeping on the floor, so if you like that then great place to stay.

"Great time"
I was very pleased with the service I received at the Holiday Inn Express. It was just 5 minutes from my destination for the afternonn. The lady at the counter at check made sure I received extra Air Miles and gave directions to get where I was going.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Holiday Inn Express near Blue Mountain. Is along a main road which had lots of restaurants and shops very close by. The pool was great the breakfast was also very nice.
Room was clean, quiet and more than adequate. Hotel staff were friendly and very helpful and breakfast was excellent. Very close to shopping, restaurants and tourist attractions. Would definitely stay there again.

Everything was clean, etc. Only two little qualms were (a) the controls on the heater/AC, I'd much prefer a simple thermostat than the vague "warm/warmer/cool/etc." scale, and (b) the opaque layer of the curtains didn't go all the way to the bottom of the window so light could enter in the morning. Oh and the bathroom lights were pretty dim for my taste […] but that's just me. Everything else was great and having breakfast included is a major benefit. Mehr
