"Sehr gutes Preis/Leistung Verhältnis"
Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit dem Hotel ! Der Ort war perfekt gewählt, dar wir an einem Tag nach Key West und am anderen Tag nach Miami fahren konnten. Wir hatten ein schönes Zimmer mit Blick aufs Wasser. Zimmer war auch zu Dritt gut.

"Traumhaft"
Wir hatten Zimmer mit Blick auf die Bucht. Die Anlage ist traumhaft schön. Eigentlich kann man den ganzen Tag dort verbringen und sich an Fauna und Flora der Florida-Keys erfreuen. Wir konnten an dem kleinen Strand hinter dem Hotel mehr Tiere beobachten als bei der Tour mit dem Glasbodenboot. Bis zum Sonnenuntergang wird am Hotelstrand eine kleine Bar […] betrieben, wo man mit anderen Gästen schnell ins Gespräch kommt. Unser Hotelzimmer war bestens darauf eingerichtet, dass die Urlauber sich ein kostengünstiges Schnellgericht selbst zubereiten können. Eine Liste der empfohlenen Restaurants lag aus. Für ein reichhaltiges Abendessen mit Alkoholgenuss waren wir mit dem zu Fuß erreichbaren D-Hooker von nebenan sehr zufrieden. Das Hotel war zu unserer Zeit nichts für Nachtschwärmer. Die Nebenkosten sind im Vergleich zu Miami Beach niedrig. Mehr

Idealer Ausgangspunkt zur Erkundung der Keys und Averglades mit einem sehr guten Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Bei Übernachtung mit 4 Personen in den beiden Doppelbetten muss man sich aber schon gern mögen.

wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt , der Strand ist zwar sehr klein aber ausreichen ,toll war auch, das nebenan ein Tierschutzorganisation arbeitet und dort Walbabys aufpäppelt. Die Wale schwimmen direkt an einem vorbei ( Kleiner Kanal). Die Angestellten sind sehr hilfbereit . Das Frühstück ist für USA sehr reichhaltig und gut z.B. frischer Obstsalat . […] Auch gibt es eine große Kaffeebar an der man sich den ganzen Tag bedienen kann . Die Zimmer haben einen schönen Balkon und sind sehr groß. Es war auf unsere Rundreise eins der besten Hotels . "Super Hotel"
Tolles Hotel auf Key Largo, super Service im Hotel. Uns wurde ein sehr gutes, ausgewogenes und reichliches Frühstücks-Buffet kostenlos geboten. Die Pool-Anlage und der Garten sind sehr gepflegt und das Hotel liegt ruhig und abseits der Hauptstrasse. Die Zimmer sind sehr gut ausgestattet, u.a. mit Kühlschrank und Mikrowelle.
"traumhafte Lage - ein Platz zum Verweilen"
Das Hampton Inn Key Largo liegt sehr schön an einer Bucht. Es macht insgesamt einen sehr gepflegten Eindruck. Das Frühstücksbuffet entspricht dem guten Hampton Standard. Der sehr gute Eindruck wurde nur durch 2 Kleinigkeiten gestört: eine sehr arrogant und gelangweilt wirkende Dame an der Rezeption sowie ein leichtes "smell" im Zimmer.

Übernachtung einschl. Frühstück, was nicht üblich ist in den USA, Preis ist aber auch ziemlich hoch!
"Gutes Frühstücksbuffet"
Wir waren in einem Zimmer im Obergeschoss, sehr schöne Zimmer mit kleinem Balkon auf die Poolseite raus. Badezimmer sehr klein mit Dusche (kein Bad). Pool ist geheitzt. Gartenanlage sehr schön und gepflegt. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist zwar mit Plastik-Geschirr und Becher, wie so oft in Amerika, aber für amerikanische Verhältnisse sehr gut. Hotel war dem Preis entsprechend ok mit Frühstück. Würde jetzt aber eher das Holiday Inn nehmen. Pool sehr sehr klein,
Sehr schönes und preiswertes Hotel mit moderner Infrastruktur. Die Zimmer sind sauber und gut eingerichtet. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist umfangreich und die Angestellten sehr freundlich. Das Hotel hat einen schönen kleinen Privatstrand mit Liegen sowie einen Pool. Das Hotel liegt am US1 in der Nähe vom empfehlenswerten John Pennekamp State Park. "Gorgeous room to be stuck in!"
We booked this trip to get away for our wedding anniversary and it rained the entire time. Although we didn't get a chance to enjoy any of the ammenities, we wouldn't want to be stuck inside at any other place! The rooms are gogeous, brand new, and CLEAN! Perfect closet, clean and cold mini-fridge, microwave, and plenty of storage for your groceries. […] The bed and covers were SO comfy we were just fine cuddled up in front of the TV. We did take a walk around the property and will book another room just to go back to enjoy the little beach and beach side bar! The person who checked us in was not rude but didn't seem very interested and just sped through the check-in process. We missed breakfast so I cannot comment on the food but again, we are already trying to plan our next trip back. Great room for the price/location! Mehr

"Near Miami, but far from key west"
Overall ok, but very much traffic disturbance.

Good atmosphere, good night sleep, ok breakfast, close to John Pennekamp Park, nice little beach at hotel, manatees came every day - it is really manatee bay! Little beach bar with lovely old man as bartender. Nice restaurants close to hote. We recommend Mrs Macs kitchen. Very good Key Lime Pie! We enjoyed our 4 nights stay. Family place and nice pit-stop […] if need to break up travel to Key West. Love from Norway. Mehr
"Hampton Inn at Key Largo Manatee Bay"
Rooms are very nicely decorated. Landscaping is very tropical and lush. Pool and beach area is very nice..we even saw manatees! Friendly staff and a great breakfast. Every room has a balcony. I would definitely staff there again.
"A little gem"
Despite the title, I do have one nitpick; The room I booked was described as a 'garden view'. It did have a view of a garden - but it was only about 30 feet deep before a car parking area. All the garden view rooms are like this. However, we didn't spend a lot of time in the room and it's not like the car park was busy or noisy so I'll let that one […] pass. So on to the positives. The room was a good size; the beds were comfortable; housekeeping was excellent and the air con worked well, if a little noisily. Shower only, no bath, but a good size shower cubicle and we never had any issues with hot water or water pressure.The pool was small but never got busy. The little beach area was fine (and being able to get in the water with the local manatees was a fantastic bonus!). The hotel provides pool towels if you ask the front desk. The room had a fridge, microwave and separate kitchen sink. If you wanted to provide your own food, there was a good Publix supermarket just a very short drive away. The included breakfast was good. Disposable plates and plastic cutlery but there was a plentiful choice of food and we have no complaints. In fact, we've had worse breakfasts in more expensive hotels. There are also laundry facilities (2 washing machines and two tumble dryers) within the separate block that house the small fitness centre. A small shop in the main lobby where you could buy detergent for your laundry and also cold drinks, snacks and microwavable snacks/meals. There's also a fantastic restaurant - Fish Market & Fish Market Encore - just a few minutes walk away on the other side of the road. Free wifi available, although a little bit temperamental, and two PCs available for use at no charge in the lobby. The front desk staff were unfailingly cheerful, courteous, friendly and helpful. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Mehr

"Swimming with manatees"
This hotel is special for its location. I had not really believed previous reviewers who had seen these marvelous gentle creatures. Boldly swimming out I looked down and there was one of them right next to me. We stroked him and petted him. Awesome!! The hotel itself is functional but well appointed for a chain with comfortable beds and good showers. […] The pool is large and warm and the small beach a bonus on this side of the keys. My only gripe is the use of paper plates and plastic cutlery at breakfast...not Eco friendly and would prefer the real thing.... Mehr
I stayed here for a week with my two kids. It's not Key West. It's laid back. The highlight of one day was my daughter petting the manatees at the hotel beach. The heated hotel pool was pleasant and we liked the room. I would recommend the hotel to anyone.
"Fantastic Place"
Once again staying at the Hampton Inn Key Largo was absolutely awesome. The hotel is a fantastic relaxing place to stay with the private beach, where you can sit and enjoy a lovely sunset or just take in the beautiful view. Rooms are comfortable and very nice to spend time in. Service is great and the proximity to wonderful restaurant The Fish House […] only adds to the positive sides of the hotel...... And then there are the manatees - this time we were lucky and saw 3 of them including a baby manatee..... Mehr

Great hotel, Great location, good staff. We extended our stay here because it was a really nice place to stay. Very handy for diners, shops, & other attractions not to far away. Will recommend it to others. Only minus side was the room did not have a safe & the A/C was a bit noisey. Excellent hotel for the price.

Fab, Fab, Fab. Great hotel for the price. Good location, nice staff, good breakfast, clean & tidy rooms. Very close to shops & resturants but you need a car to get around. Only critisism is that there wasn't a safe in the room. I will definetly recommend this hotel or stay there again.
"Not a bad choice"
We were visiting the area prior to jumping on a cruise in Miami. We decided to explore the keys, and figured key largo would be a good place to start. Weather was too cool for us to snorkle in area, but we did swim in pool a few eves. Workout room was very nice, very happy with equipment. Room was very satisfactory. Nice with wet bar, fridge, microwave, […] plenty of storage. The balconies with chairs were a nice touch. Baths were very clean, appeared to be just renovated. The beds were a little hard and carpet is a little older, but we would def. stay here again. Very nice front desk staff, felt safe, breakfast was great, hot and cold selections, typical of Hampton Inns. Mehr

"A very comfortable stay"
We were very pleasantly surprised at the comfort and convenience of this hotel. Although we did not prepare meals in our room, the facility was there to do so. It was a great place to watch the sun set while having a drink from the tiki bar. The breakfast was extremely good - everything we could have wanted. "Great place with a great location."
Hotel is beautiful. Small beach on property is a nice way to spend the day in sunny Key Largo. A manatee will come up everyday for a drink of fresh water and if you choose to interact with them. Tiki Bar is a nice way to wait for the sunset.

We stayed for 4 nights and everything was great! The pool was beautiful and warm, the staff was helpful and friendly, the rooms were very clean, the breakfast was good with lots of variety. The tiki bar was rather pricey ($10 for a pina colada), so we bought our own beer at the grocery store because there was in fridge in our room. Incredible relaxed setting on the beach; tiki bar; refrig & microwave included; patio doors led out to pool and beach area; best free hot breakfast of our vacation; bed and pillows are more comfortable than home! We would return in a minute!

"Enjoyed our Stay"
The hotel is in a convenient location, close to (good) restaurants, the park, and of course, many marinas. I'm surprised it didn't get higher ratings, but maybe because we lucked out with the last room nearest the water, on the ground floor on the pool side of the hotel (not the parking lot). Or it might be that it doesn't have what I would consider […] a 'swimmable' beach. It's on a murky looking bay, but came with manatees and a fantastic view of the sunset. No crowds to navigate. And the beach park is only minutes away, should you want to swim in the ocean. The hotel didn't look like much pulling into the parking lot, but the room made up for it. Nice amenities: fridge, microwave, coffee maker and wet bar! The hotel was clean, grounds well kept and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful (unlike what we experienced in Key West). However, this is most certainly more a family hotel than anything else. The tiki bar was only open for a few hours a night and there wasn't anything else going on at the hotel. But I was happy that the pool was open to 10PM. If you are looking for nightlife, this is not for you. But it's a good place to be if you want a quiet night or have a family.
