The hotel is fine, very sleek and contemporary. The views on Bayside outstanding. Access is great, one block from freeway exit. Staff very professional and friendly. The pools and excercise rooms are fine. Nearby are the performing arts center and American Airlines sports stadium. The negatives are: no visible markings on this skyscraper for Tempo, […] only the Marquis residences (multipurpose building) and the surrounding neighborhood with urban decay(like Berlin after WWII), addicts, alcholics and 'bag people.' In a choice location it should command double the rent. Other less important negatives are the traffic noise and nearby construction. Mehr

Great location on Biscayne---surrounding neighborhood to the West is a war zone--DO NOT WALK WEST OF THE HOTEL---I am a Miami native and know the area well---DO NOT GO THERE....room was filthy---tub had muddy footprints--countertops are stained and dirty---they seem to have lost their Rock Resorts connection and it shows---couldn't check out---there […] was no one at the front "desk"-at 10 AM(!)-which is just a desk in the hall--have stayed here 3 different times--the restaurant is never open (always "closed for renovation" - pool deck is also always "closed for renovation"....there are only 60 rooms at the bottom of a failed condo building and it shows--there is no reason for this hotel to be operating........not worth the deeply discounted rates....they should just close this place down. I was disappointed at the staff at the hotel. Our keys stopped working the next day and when I checked with the staff they said that they had me checking out the next day. The spa was not organized at all. I would not receommend this hotel to anyone as I feel the service has much to be desired.

Hotel was beautiful, however the staff was not as equally yolked... Management should have a seminar on professionalism.. Even though I was satisfied with the venue, in a city like Miami you have hundreds of Hotels that understand the importance of physical aesthitics and hospitality.. This is something that has yet to be learned by Tempo.

This wasn't my first time at the Tempo, it's very cozy and private, I wouldn't recommend it for families with kids. Also, if your looking for a hotel with great room service there is not much to choose from with their very limited menu. It's great for a one night stay or a spa get away.

the hotel is in a great location very clean. my boyfriend got sick so we spent the whole weekend in the most comfortable bed ever. i went out and bought the same matteress when i returned home

Booked our Honeymoon to cruise out of Miami and this was a great hotel choice. Balcony was great, nice breeze and views to die for. Must be a new property cause the taxi driver at MIA did not know of it but I had the address stored so he found it right away. Room was spotless and hotel service was excellent. Easy checkin and out. Bellman was the best!!! […] Pools and spas on the 14th floor gave wonderful views and romantic setting was very appreciative. Hotel has bar and restaurant onsite and room service as well. Close-by free trans take you all over downtown. Highly recomemed and plan to return. Mehr

Valet parking was not up to the hotel standard. The view is disappointing for the price paid. The rest was very good!! nice hotel, good staff, nice rooms.

This hotel met and exceeded all of our expectations. It has a very modern feel (beware there is NO bathroom door!) and an open floor plan. The floor to ceiling windows are nice, and one will open slightly to let in a great breeze. The hotel is very green, with two complimentary filtered water bottles. The resort fee covers parking, concierge service, […] and gratuity, but we still tipped. Comfortable robes and slippers are complimentary during the stay. An oddity is that there are no ice machines available for self service, but one quick call to the front desk and somebody will bring you a full bucket. Mehr

Great place to stay

Everything was absolutely perfect, including the price!! Room was beautiful, food was divine. The staff were very courteous and polite, but not overly.

Spacious rooms but extremely impractical bathroom with NO door, this was riduculouts. Unbeleiveably the hotel bar and restaurant closes at 10 pm, so no way of getting a drink after this time. F&B service terrible, no mini bar in room. This is a hotel trying to be trendy that unfortunately fails with poor service and gimmicks like no bathroom door!

This hotel is absolutely beautiful. Across the street from the American Airlines Arena, which is why I stayed there, made it the ideal location. If you haven't experienced game day traffic, you'll want to stay here! South Beach is only a few miles away but traffic can be super slow at times. A couple of restaurants in the area but not much else. If […] you're looking for a quiet night this is for you otherwise you have to make your way across the bridge to the beach. Hotel is walking distance from AA Arena, staff is extremely pleasant. A definite must see.

Excellent overall experience and facility. Ended up as a last minute reservation and I couldn't have been more pleased.

The hotel was modern and clean. The staff were helpful and service was efficient. The view from the room is good and the hotel is close to the Bayside Shopping Mall and Miami boat tour location. The only flaw was road noise during the night from the traffic as the building is quite close to the main expressway...double glazing could be improved.

The Hotel and rooms are first class with beautiful views of the bay. The location is near the public transportation hub and the cultural center. There are no restaurants or shops in the neighborhood but you can take the free monorail into the city center in about 10 minutes. The only drawback was that the spa closes very early and the pool is not open […] after sunset. Mehr

Had dinner one night at Amuse, which was disappointing, but owner/manager very solicitous, compted our less than savory risotto. This hotel was far above my expectations. The staff was very attentive, diligent, helpful and polite. The room blew me away with its amenities and views of downtown Miami and Biscayne Bay. True luxury for a more than reasonable price. I do a lot of travel for work and have stayed in the likes of the Four Seasons, The W, Ritz-Carlton and the Intercontinental […] with hefty room rates, Tempo Miami more than competes with them all. The hotel is hidden away downtown and has nice views, beautifu immaculatel rooms - very Zen feeling. Private and quiet I never saw another guest. The room service was odd - few entrees and out of what I ordered. Asked if alternative scallops were prepared hot or cold was told hot "it" was cold. Asked for cheese and fruit - hotel out of fruit but send […] a lot of average cheese. No lemon for iced tea. Very expensive meal but really not much for the cost. If they can fix that problem - they will have a great hotel. The staff is young, anxious to please and for the most part eager to please although seem to know very little about the place. Training though will get them to a good place because they have potential. I'm not overly fussy as long as the room is great and it was. Felt like maybe they just opened and had not yet become fully operational. Would stay there again if the food situation improves. Mehr

The room was spacious and very well decorated. The staff very friendly and helpful and location is perfect. A very small inconvenient: The gym is a little bit difficult to find.

Wow! This hotel was more then could be expected!! Our room was huge. We had an amazing view. The pool area was nice. It was a bummer that the sunrise pool was closed but their sunset pool was still open. All the hotel staff were great and knowledgeable. This hotel is situated in a not so pleasant area. In one direction, you have a lot of shops, the NBA arena, the bay, in the other direction, you have a ton of homeless individuals and nasty businesses. It's not the hotels fault , but it is something to think about. The hotel itself is very nice. The rooms are awesome for the price. If you're going for 'fun in the sun', I'd suggest staying on the beach, if you're going to party, it's definitely close to all the main roads (as well as a few large night clubs). Mehr

Excellent location for anything Miami. Great service from check-in to check-out including a friendly bar staff and an unexpected turn-down service while I was out. The room was perfect with a great views of Miami, super comfortable bed, huge stand alone tub, dual sinks, walk-in closet, giant patio, this room is loaded and it's not even a suite. Multi-Infinity […] pools on the fourteenth floor are perfectly Miami sheik. I'm going to be sad when this hotel has its official grand opening, and is no longer in my budget. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Miami, and I am very happy to have been welcomed and treated so well why I can still afford it :) RockResort Rocks!! Mehr

Det anbefales å prøve en suite. Denne er av de bedre jeg har bodd på og til en overkommelig pris hvis du vil bo sentralt i Miami med kort vei over til South Beach.

O hotel é excelente, alto nível, muito confortável, com quartos espaçosos uma sala de musculação com aparelhos top de linha. As únicas ressalvas são o preço deo estacionamento U$32 por dia e estranhei a não reposição das amenidades do banheiro.

Vi spenderade 2 nätter downtown Miami som en del av vår bröllopsresa. Tempo överträffade våra förväntningar; Poolområdet var jättemysigt, rummet spaciöst med underbar säng. 100% panaromafönster i 2 vädersträck, med vy över Bisc.bay & SB. Rummet går inte att berömma nog. Läget är också mycket bra, vi hade bil, men bayside, AA arena och det mästa av downtown […] ligger på promenad avstånd, resten nås enkelt via gratis monorail lr taxi. Frukostmenyn var kanske det enda vi inte riktigt var tillfreds med, allt annat tiptop. Mehr

Hotel très moderne, occupe 8 étages dans une grande tour en bord de la baie avec vue superbe sur le port et Miami Beach au loin : essayer d'avoir une chambre deluxe premier en angle, totalement vitrée et avec grand balcon, ayant cette vue ! Chambres très moderne et très confortable, salle de bain assez étonnante (concept transparent, ça plait ou non […] ...), on peut se doucher en voyant accoster les paquebots. Literie assez incroyable, à l'américaine. Piscine et Spa au 8 ème étage. Valet Parking uniquement, payant et assez cher, mais efficace. A 15 minutes en voiture de Miami Beach, à 200m de l'American Airlines Arena, à 300 m de Bayside Shopping Center. Mehr

Lite för dyrt för vad man fick. Småsaker som gjorda att betyget drogs ner. Dyr valet parking, kändes inte helt hemtrevligt eller tryggt. Ingen kyla i kylskåp eller vatten som skulle ingå. Dålig skötsel av pool handdukar mm. Konstig receptionslösning. Nytt hotell men man hade valt dåliga material som inte står sig. Kommer på sikt utan underhåll kännas […] sunkigt. Med en annan prisnivå hade detta varit ok. Läget var bra men vi hamnade lågt och hade utsikt över byggarbetsplats. Vi var tvungna att byta rum eftersom vi hamnade i ett rum utan badkar som kändes riktigt slitet men det var inga problem att få byta. När man säljer alla lägenheter runt poolen kommer det nog att bli trångt, nu var det nästan ödsligt. Mehr
