Das Hotel ist etwas verwinkelt abseits gelegen und zum Essen muss man fahren. Rundrum ist nur eine Kegelbahn. Außerdem liegt es an einer wenig befahenenen aber trotzdem sehr lauten Straße. Vielleicht sind die Fenster schlecht. Wir hatten jedenfalls keine ruhige Nacht. Das Frühstück ist gut und der Pool traumhaft schön. Mit Basketballkorb und Ball, der Whirlpool mit Wasserfall.

"Functional"
I just stayed one night and found the hotel to be fine for the price. Nice staff, decent enough breakfast, room was clean. I did not use the hot tub or fitness equipment but they do have it there. My room came with a microwave and fridge which I think is standard. For negatives my room used electric heat instead of a central air unit. The location […] is nice but the access to the hotel road is a little odd. The room setup has the bathroom sink right next to the room entrance door. Some floor creaking when walking in the hallways. "Rodeway Inn-Convenient if your passing through."
Hotel must have recently become smoke free, but our room smelled as if someone had just put a cigarette out before we entered. The breakfast was very nice the next morning and lobby was smoke-free. "A little rough but cheap in cost...."
The room was a bit rough and it wasn't the classiest hotel I have ever been in but it did the job. Was a great location unless you want to be near State St. Pretty rundown....but did the job.

"Rodeway Inn & Suites Madison-Northeast"
The hotel was in a great location. The building is old which is fine BUT when we turned on the heater.......YUCK what a horrible smell. No wonder the window was open when we got there. Needless to say we did not turn the heat on again while we were there. The continental breakfast was very good! The biscuits and gravy were really good!
"NE Madison Wisconsin Rodeway Inn"
This is a Motel that you stay in if your budget is tight or the other newer places are booked or they are running their high Special Event pricing which was our case. Old and it shows.

"Pleased"
It was a nice place to stay. Pretty basic, but that was what we were looking for. Good value for the price. Clean room. Would stay again for sure.

I'll stay here again. Not the Ritz, but well-kept with friendly service, inexpensive rooms, and convenient amenities.

"Roadway Inn- Affordable with amenities"
Very convienient, located right off interstate 94. Loved that our dog could stay with us and the price was right. Many unexpected amenitities such as fridge/microwave in suite and nice breakfast. A lot of restraunts nearby too. Only negative was the hallway smelled of smoke even though it was a non-smoking floor.

"it was just ok"
It is an average hotel with all the other hotels in the neighborhood I thought there would have been mire comfort items in the rooms
"poor access, rude"
this place has three floors. called ahead informing disabled yet put me on 3rd floor with out elevator. then promised son could use arcade but since other kids messed up earlier refused and locked door even though offered to clean and sit with my son. Very disappointing second shift staff.
"Not bad for an overnight"
Stayed at hotel overnight on a trip to Minneapolis. Room was a good size and beds were comfy. Grade A on breakfast (Sausage gravy & biscuits!). Very good for a cheap overnight stay.
"Madison fun"
We had been out entertaining, and wanted a quick but nice place to unwind..We were very comfortable, and the staff was friendly.. Will stay here again!!

"Ok, but dated"
This hotel is ok but dated..... your typical low end hotel with a VERY good breakfast though.... that makes up for the lower quality elsewhere.

Hotel was average at best. Entry way had food spilled on sidewalk. Local kids from the neighborhood running around hotel. Work out equipment in pool area making it very HOT! Equipment in poor shape. Room was OK. Mattress was cheap. Guest checked in at 2:00am. Could hear everything. Kept me up for 1.5 hours. Mgmt did nothing to quite them down. Cont […] breakfast was OK. "Rodeway - a Nice Place to Stay"
Our stay was quiet, pleasant, and just as we like it. We appreciated the hospitality and the comfort. We've stayed here several times before and will again given the opportunity.

"Rodeway Inn Madison - great location, smelly room"
The hotel is right off I90/I94 and US151. It is perfect for visiting Madison or just taking a break whil passing through. The staff are friendly and there is plenty of parking. The complimentary breakfast is good. The only issue we had was with the smell. "Rodeway Inn - Madison East"
About the only postive thing I can say is that this hotel was very close to the Interstate! When I checked in the clerk asked me if I wanted to be on 1st or 2nd floor. I said it did not matter. Somehow I ended up on "3rd" floor, which was below 1st and 2nd floor. I don't get that one! I had ordered a non-smoking room, but I am not sure if it was. When […] we walked in you could smell some stale smoke. The room itself was not that bad, but the bathroom wrecked on stale smoke. It was like being in a bad, nasty bar! Also, the lighting in the room was not great. Most of the light was right by the sink and not in the main area. The light for the bathroom was outside the bathroom! If you actually wanted some light in the bathroom you had to turn on the heatlamp. It was cheap, so I guess you get what you pay for! Mehr

The guest service was friendly and tried to accommodate us when we complained about our rooms smelling of smoke when we reserved non-smoking rooms and broken night lock on the doors. "A bit odd."
The hotel is in a fine location however many of the rooms are "theamed" with odd finishes. I stayed in the "Victoian Suite". The furnishings and the colors in the room were a bit overbearing. All in all it was too pricy for the quality of the hotel.
"Smelled like smoke"
Good location, comfortable bed, blankets, pillows, air conditioner worked. Problem was that while we were in a smoke free room, other rooms on same floor allowed smoking and it infiltrated our room. Very smelly. We used a towel across the threshold and opened the window to help with the odor. Nice little breakfast.

Overall we were satisfied for the price. The one thing that stood out for us was we could hear EVERYTHING the man and women above us were doing. Yup! You guessed it!
