Holiday Inn Louisville North - Clarksville - Clarksville

Was very happy with the hotel. Was with 2 kids and enjoyed the pool and the breakfast ready to go. We were soon on our way again.

This hotel is VERY outdated. No plugs in the room and plugs by bed were so rigged with extension cords that it should prove to be a fire hazard. Therefore, none of the lamps worked in the room. When we tried to plug in the lamps, we found it to be extremely dusty, dirty and nasty behind the beds! Blah! I wouldn't stay here again. My stay was okay. I wish there had been a hotel shuttle to kfc yum center. At times we waited a long time for transportation.

our stay at the holiday inn this past saturday was not very good. the toilet didnt work very well. the people at customer service were rude. and when we went to eat at their restaurant on saturday night was awful. the food was good but for how much the dinner cost the service was awful. we had to ask many times for refills on our drinks. then all of […] us except my husband got a refill. then we had to ask even more times for him to get a drink.we had to wait awhile for plates. and they were rude. sunday breakfast was better. but saturday night just ruined the stay for us Mehr

Overall, I thought it was a nice hotel. We stayed because we were going to the Sugarland concert in Louisville. It's conveniently 2 miles up the expressway to downtown Louisville from the hotel. We stayed in the K wing, which looked outdated on the outside, but isn't bad on the inside. There was a musty smell in the room though. Other than that the […] stay was nice. After reading some of the other reviews, I was very leery about staying here. But for the price and location to the convention center I had to give it a try. Rooms were clean. The beds are fulls and not queens, but that was not too big a deal. Bathroom was small, two people couldn't be in there at the same time to get ready. No fridge in the room, so […] make sure you bring a cooler. You do have to pay for breakfast but the front desk will give you free voucher for kids, so final pricing wasn't bad per person. Big plus was the indoor pool, it was a good size pool for a hotel, not one of those itty bitty ones they are putting in these days to say they have a pool. All in all the trip was a good one, hotel is not fancy but wasn't scary either. If you are doing anything in downtown Louisville, the convenience and price can't be beat at this hotel. Mehr

I was greeted at the front desk as the internet customer of the day. I received a gift box and a $15 voucher for the dining room in the hotel. Food was nice, pool was great and the room was great.

the holiday inn in clarksville, IN was quite enjoyable, the guest service personnal was really helpful and the location is excellent!

Check desk lady was very friendly and helpful. Older parts of hotel hallways had a musty smell, but rooms did not, they were clean and only slightly outdated but for an overnight stay it was just fine.

Dirty, nasty, smelly. At least in the old wing. Our bathroom didn't seem like it had been cleaned... plenty of mildew that I could wipe off with my finger and obvious dirt streaks. The non-smoking room was obviously a smoking room at some point in the last 30 years since it's been remodeled. It smelled like an old ash tray. Excellent stay .. been here before & will stay again!!

For the price I paid for the hotel room I expected it to be a bit nicer than it was. I requested a non-smoking room, and they stuck me on the top floor (in a non-smoking room), but since smoke is lighter than air, the people that were allowed to smoke in their room gave off enough smoke that I could smell it in my all weekend. Also, the carpet was dirty […] in all parts of the hotel, my blinds has stains on them and they didn't close all the way so the morning sun was not kept out of my east facing room. There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom so before I could put contacts in I had to wait 10 minutes. The toilet was broken and I had to call to have them fix it. There wasn't any way of heating up food or store left overs. There was only one trash can (which was also in the bathroom. The toilet paper dispenser broke on me right before check out. After I checked in and was driving around the area I found other hotels nearby that had cheaper rates then what I ended up paying. I would recommend looking elsewhere unless they make significant improvements. Mehr

We were in town for a funeral and this hotel was very close to where we needed to be. We had a first floor suite that the windows wouldn't lock, had to call maintenance to get that resolved. The door was hard to open. The ceiling tile in the bathroom was not in place, my husband moved them back in to place. The tile in the bathroom and sink area was […] nasty. I've never stayed in a hotel that had a stainless steel kitchen sink as it's bathroom sink! The wallpaper was peeling off the wall. Overall, very unhappy with our visit. Clarksville area is a dump. There was nothing around the hotel in terms of restaurants. Had to go into Louisville or a few exits north to get something to eat.

I spent two nights here for a wedding. But, this hotel is BUILT for the business traveler. Many amenities close by, friendly staff, bar/food in the hotel, indoor pool.

The room I was placed in was adequate, however, there was a light fixture that didn't work, the control panel for the HVAC unit was missing a faceplate, therefore, I had to guess what was hot and what was cold. Also, the shower did not drain adequately and the shower handle came off in my hand. I was in an "older" part of the hotel and I believe some […] TLC needs to be given to these rooms to eliminate these problems. Mehr

This hotel looks great on the website but it is an older hotel. The elevator smelled terrible and the hallway smelled of smoke.Our room was clean...thank god. I just perfer newer more up to date hotels.

The hotel was in a good location, rooms were nice, hotel staff was nice. Although we found a bed bug and the staff couldnt refund any money because we booked through hotels.com, and when we contacted hotels.com about the issue they were no help. Very disappointed in hotels.com!

This hotel was nice... in the lobby. The only thing clean about the room was the bed/bedding. Old, Dark, and Dirty. Brown (very brown) shower water on my second morning was the last straw. I wouldn't stay here if I were you.

The part of the hotel we were in was the older part, wing 1 and I'm not sure the jet tub worked but we were happy with the shower. The people we very nice and we recieved a call from the front desk asking us if everything was ok (that was nice) The breakfast coupon was great

Hotel was absolutely wonderful. I had a better stay there then any other hotel. The beds were so comfortable. Also every staff member I talked to or passed by was absolutely great. I didn't eat in the dining room but my parents did and loved it all as well.

A friend and I stayed here for one night. The front desk was EXTREMELY cordial and warm. They even offered me fresh baked chocolate chip cookies, which was a nice touch. They made sure that everything was set, and answered all my questions. Very comfortable stay, will be back again.

The hotel once you were inside was like a hotel that you pay moderate for. My biggest complaint was that you couldn't even get free coffee in the lobby. You had to pay for the buffet to receive anything food or drink wise in the morning. I knew this going into the agreement though, and it was not a huge deal.

This was a last-minute booking - We were just passing through town but everything was great. They were kind and accommodating, the room was VERY clean and the bed was super comfy.

WONDERFUL PEOPLE WORKING FRONT DESK DUE TO WEATHER ARRIVED 5 HOURS LATE AND EVEN SEEN I HAD MY SON WHO WAS PASSED OUT AND UNLOADED CAR FOR ME

We registered for 5 adults and when we got to our room there was only 2 double beds and no sofa sleeper or another bed. We had to call down and argue with the front desk that we had informed them there were 5 of us and they didn't provide a room with the required accommodations for 5 adults. The information also said full breakfast but only$20.00 coupon […] was included not full breakfast for 5. Mehr
