I enjoyed the fitness amenities, pool and spa. They were helpful to get the circulation going after travel.

Decent hotel facility. No accountability from operators to reception to room service. If a department was closed they would simply transfer you around the hotel hoping that you would give up. This happened three times. once when trying to order room service, once when we requested a computer connection from business services and once when advising they […] put me in a lower room than I paid for on Hotels.com, i.e. I was given a standard room but paid for a suite. Staff seemed very lazy and did not want to do more than they had to. Suggest considering Embassy Suites or Marriott. I will next time. Mehr

Nice hotel near by the shore. Close-by Burlingame. Nice breakfast and staff at the restaurant. Hotel reception pretty busy as well as bell / concierge staff so that we had to wheel our baggage ourselves. Nice stay otherwise.

I booked this room for. Friend who was in town for a birthday party on St. Patrick's Day. AThe hotel is very nice and elegant. Rooms are clean. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. The Clubhouse Bistro is a very exciting and happening place on a Saturday night. Will definitely have to use again.

Great hotel. High end, very comfortable with lots of amenities. Interior of hotel with atrium is beautiful. Good restaurants with high quality food. Hotel staff is very professional and accommodating. A very short walk to a mall with great chain stores and restaurants. Excellent freeway access. Will definitely stay again.

Everything was awesome. The only thing was the indoor pool was freezing. That was the whole reason that we stayed there was for the pool. I took my 2 year old to go swimming and it was freezing. The room was clean and the service was great.

We were disappointed in our stay primarily because l) the courtesy phones at the airport were either out of order or some other problem, we could not call the Hotel using one of them. We were repeatedly told that the shuttle would be at the stop in 20", 10", 7"; it was at least 45" and we were freezing. The room was fine, but the very cold bathroom […] floors were disappointing, having come from a radiant floor heat facility. Mehr

I've had the oppurtunity to stay in numerous motels, hotels, B&B's, and Inn's throughout the U.S., and this was one of my "BEST" Hotel experiences! Bar-non. The hospitality was "Second to Non". Price was very competative. The Staff, from valet, to counter personel, and cleaning crew were "Great" Extremely pleased! Sincerly,

Wonderful experience here; food is fantastic; pillows were fabulous; Clean and very well maintained. Easy access to freeways, yet so very quiet inside. Great pool and fitness center. We will definitely stay here again., We opted for the breakfast package along with our room---it was the BEST decision, as the breakfast was a gourmet buffet with omelet […] stations too. A small add-on to our room amount for a fabulous deal. Hotels.com did us a good deal on this one! Mehr

The property and staff were delightful. Staff was as nice as they could be. The location is tricky if you don't know your way around, but nonetheless, a GPS natigator will get you there. Maquest directions got me lost. We stayed on the 6th floor and the plumbing did not work. The shower floor was slimey from what I imagine being from the clogged piping […] not allowing water flow. If housekeeping had to wait for the tub to drain after each cleaning, they would have to spend an hour and housekeeping doesn't work that way. It took an hour for the water to drain after each shower. Pretty disgusting if you are sharing the room with someone. You would have to shower in their left over water basically. Gross. I probably showered in someones yucky dead skin. The walls are a bit thin, we heard the entire fiasco next door. I was okay with the noise, it doesnt bother me as much. All in all, if the drains in the tub and sink were clear, my experience wouldn't be so focused on how disgusting it felt. The girl at the front desk said that there were no other rooms and that her staff was tied up. I had no choice but to keep the room with broken piping. I found two receipts from a former guest in the sheets and between the duvent and sheet, I should mention that since it may speak to the standard of cleaning and changing linens. Mehr

The Crown Plaza was reasonably priced, busy, electric, glamorous, and even though it was a business trip, my wife and I felt like we were on vacation. All the amenities including a very comfortable king-sized bed. Even the room's artwork was excellent. Top notch.

The hotel looks very nice. The problem is once you get settled. Everything was fine until we got back from dinner. There was no spot to park so we had to park across the street in an office building. We were placed right above the club and couldnt sleep or even hear the TV because of the noise. I wouldnt go back, no matter how nice it looks.

Don't wait for the bus unless you call them, and even then they drive past you, and you might crash as they are maniac drivers. Thank goodness nobody speaks English! They wouldn't like what I told them!

Very lovely property. I had the bad luck of a faulty toilet which needed 5 repairs in 4 days. They offered me another room however I was unwilling to be troubled to move. They did give me a FREE night stay when I returned this coming November.

We were looking for a hotel close to San Francisco to go to Candlestick Park but didn't want to pay $400 a night. Hotel was priced very cheap, was in wonderful condition, friendly staff and the rooms were great! (Very comfy beds!) I even accidently left my whole makeup bag and bathroom bag in the hotel after we left and received a phone call from […] the hotel letting me know that found it and shipped it to me! I would definitely recommend this hotel to couples, families, etc as I will definitely be booking my stay here for all future trips to the bay area. Mehr

The front desk checked me into a room that was not cleaned. So I went back to the front desk tried to clear that up. The lady behind the counter told me that there wasn't any room available so if I couldn't wait for the dirty one to be cleaned up, she could check me into a King bed room (I booked for double) in distance. It was the time that already […] passed hotel check-in time(3pm), but the room was not ready. The reason I booked double was for a couple of 80-90years old folks to take a much needed rest before attending a wedding banquet nearby, if we waited for the room to be tighten up, there would not be anytime for them to rest, if we didn't' wait, the elders had to travel to another building to share a king bed, they were already too tired from the church. I was stuck - paid the hotel for nothing, even a cancellation was not an option to us, which was very very annoying. This hotel is not at the service of their customers. I would never stay at this place again no matter what, and a warning to others if you are considering this place, be prepared to let the hotel clean you room at your own time and cost. Mehr

For starters, the staff behind the desk is not too friendly. That's fine, i understand the monotony and frustrations of service jobs. I check in help bringing my luggage form the car to the room. Most hotels have bell-hops. No bell-hop, that's fine. How about a luggage cart? Sorry, 'if it's not there, then it's being used". So, i waited and waited […] and waited and nothing. I eventually paid one of the maids to merely find the luggage cart for me. I'm dead serious. Fifteen minutes and three bucks later i'm hauling my own stuff back and forth to the room. I'm fine with it except for the fact that the luggage carrier is one of the most delapitated devies i've ever seen at a hotel. I was soo tempted to take a picture of it and tweet about it. It was bad. The thing barely moved. Don't even get me started on the crowd the shows up at the bar/restaurant downstairs on friday/saturday nights. Thanks, but no thanks. So the first night I set the A/C down to 68 degrees. It ran all night long and never cooled off the room. I spoke to the front desk and they told me it was an energy efficient unit so wouldn't go below 68 degrees. How energy efficient is it to have something run 24/7 and never achieve the desired temperature. The second night we went down to have a […] drink in the bar. The only one open was the night club. They wouldn't let the other guy in my group in because he was wearing sneakers. We asked to speak to the manager and while we were waiting on him they let in two other people with sneakers on. It took some arguing but finally the manager let us in. The Sushi restaurant on site was good. If they decide to improve their customer service I might stay there again. Mehr

The hotel was great overall. The indoor pool was not heated. Isn't the point of an indoor pool to be warm? Also, the hot tub was under renovation which would have been nice to know before making the reservation.

Was disappointed that only smoking rooms were available when I had specifically requested a non-smoking room. Hotel staff were pleasant and apolgetice but told me the hotel was sold out and none were available. Even leaving the window wide open for sevral hours didn't solve the smoke smell despite the hotel assuring me they had sprayed the room after […] the previous check out. The bathroom floor was so so. The hotel desk initially sent me to the wrong room with keys that didn't work. They were most apologetic over that too. Other than those issues, the room itself was fine. The other frustrating thing is that the free shuttle busses are inadequately labeled. What I thought was the only shuttle took me to another crown Plaza and I had the choice of returning to the airport ro taking a cab to the correct one. If you are a smoker and have your own transportation, the hotel was great. That just wasn't me. Mehr

Great place to stay. Nice central atrium with waterfalls and palm trees. Good pool and hot tub. Pricey food but everywhere in San Francisco is like that. The kids really liked it too.

The hotel is very close to restaurants and a shopping center. The pool is great for kids. The beds are comfortable.

They left me at the airport for an hour and 15 minutes waiting for the shuttle. When I called they offered to pay for a cab and then said sorry you should have called ahead when I had and told me they would not pay forthe cab. they told me my Fedex was not delivered and it was signed for by the front desk manager at 3:45 I had 4 bags and there was nobody […] to help me with my bags I had to bring them to my room myself. The most horrible stay ever, not to mention the stains on one of my pillow cases and one pillow case put on backwards. I could go on with other things but I think you get the picture. Mehr
