The hotel was nice and clean. My issues were with the cleaning lady left two coffee cups from prior renters on balcony. Also, bed are not pillow top and a group of kids stormed by pool area early in the morning waking us up.

My wife and I do two day, one night romantic getaways in the L.A. area. This is a great place to stay. Great room, great staff, located within easy walking distance to many good restaurants and shopping. There is a market near by with great wines, cheeses and fresh fruits. The hotel is just across the street from the location of the Annual Jane Austen Ball, and I was so happy I didn't have to drive all the way home to Riverside after dancing all evening. My garden room was perfect! It was roomy, and the two levels made it feel even bigger than it was. The hotel staff was able to place me in a room adjacent to my other […] dance friends. I had stayed at the Sheraton a few years ago and found the rooms to be clean, but in need of a little refurbishing. I was pleasantly surprised this time around to find the rooms had been refurbished. The room looked great, was very clean, and the king size bed was very plush with Crisp white sheet and one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept […] in during a hotel stay. The hotel is close to major points of interest in Pasadena. However, be sure to ask that you not be placed in one of the rooms ovelooking the ballroom, where the party goes all night--i knew to do that from my previous visit. Also, I did not watch TV in the room--as I was only there to sleep one night before getting back on my road trip. However, when I attempted to check out using the television in the morning, I founf out the TV did not work. I reported that to staff at the front desk when I checked out. All the staff, including the parking lot attendants were very courteous and pleasant. I enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay again. Mehr

Great central location in Pasadena, nice hotel lobby bar an restaurant, really comfortable bed and clean room, mostly quiet except for the Sat night wedding.

I have stayed in Sheraton Pasadena twice. The first time was to attend a wedding, and the second time for family vacation. I found this hotel in a good location, very close to many restaurants. It's in a nice neighborhood also. I drive from northen Calif., so this is much closer, and avoid most of the LA traffic. After 6 hours drive, I don't really […] want to get stuck in the famous LA traffic. Just want to find a good hotel to relax. The bed is firm and comfortable. I can usually get good sleep there. The price is good also, cheaper than the ones near hollywood, or Santa Monica. It's relatively close to Hollywood, Universal Studio, Hungtinton library, downtown area. This is not very close to LAX, so it may not be very good for people who fly to LA. Mehr

i stayed here to attend a concert in pasadena civic auditorium which was 1 minute walking distance from the lobby of this hotel. it is close to shopping malls and old town. everything was decent. the building seemed very old but it was clean and well maintained. overall it was a decent experience.

very nice stay. the tv wasn't working correctly but it was fixed right away. i do wish there had been washcloths instead of the net scrubber.

Great location, wonderful & efficient staff. Perfect stay for an week-end in Pasadena.

I had a recent stay at The Sheraton in Pasadena, I am disabled and as usual with travel problems occur. All disabilities are not equal and our needs are different. The staff from Check in to Director of Customer Service, food service and room service were all pleasent, helpful people and I would certainly visit them again. You're guaranteed to have a great night sleep here. The bed/comforter/pillows are super comfortable, the surrounding quite, the room is a nice size, very clean. wonderful location, by the free way. Pasadena is a nice place.

Great Romantic hotel, gave me free upgrade to the Deluxe Suite room based on SPG 5 year member,. The Bar made me a killer top shelf long island iced tea that was off hook!!!!

Stayed here for my birthday and the room was great, the staff were very professional and helped us with the area. I would definately recommend staying at this hotel..

Ok facility.... Stayed at better Sheretons... $15 a day parking is rediculous. Beds not all that comfee. All in all ok...

I don't understand why these big hotels can not offer free wifi it seems like they charge you for every little thing.

It was a lovely stay here. The beds were comfortable. Everything was nice and clean. Perfect surrounding area for some shopping. It's a great place to stay.

The location was perfect, I could walk to restaurants, the movies, Jamba Juice, furniture stores, my conference facility was right outside the door!

I probably would not stay here again, unless the price dropped materially. Not enough value for the price. PROs: 1. The front desk staff was very friendly. 2. Unlike the Doubletree in Pasadena (garage never has enough spaces), or the Huntington (slow, slow, valet parking ONLY), the garage has plenty of space 3. Sound insulation is great. The room across […] the hall had a loud party going on, and I didn't hear a thing with the door shut CONs: 1. The room I was assigned smelled terrible -- really musty like a dog kennel. Had to ask for a new room. 2. The underground garageis a hassle. 3. The room charge (about two hundred) was too high for a totally average hotel. Then I was nickeled-and-dimed for tens of dollars more for parking, internet, and more for printing a boarding pass. I could have stayed at the Huntington with real luxury for only about fifty dollars more (room only), or at the Hilton Garden Inn or Embassy Suites (in Arcadia) for much less (and without the nickel-and-diming) Mehr

This hotel is within walking distance of a wide variety of restaurants, as well as the trolley to downtown LA. A supermarket is a block away. Norton Simon and Huntington museums are minutes away. Easy access to freeway system. Hotel services are high quality. Would recommend it to anyone visiting LA.

Noisy neighbors above us late at night. Manager moved us to another room immediately, comped our breakfast the next day. Plan to return soon.

This hotel looks and smells old, the room was covered in air freshener that mixed with the rooms bad smell to create a worse smell. The bed sheats were like sleeping in paper and the walls are paper thin. I complained about the noise at 2 am and an hour later security came to my door and woke me up again. The only negative I found was the loudness of the television next door. I don't know if it was an insulation issue, or just a guest who was very hard of hearing.

Everything is great about this hotel except the parking. They charge everyone including their customers $13 for parking.

This hotel is next to the Pasadena convention center so expect convention gests. There was a Toast Masters Party going on at the time and elevators where full most of the time – if not from gests then staff. When I they give me a key, it didn't work in my room. So I called the front desk and had to wait for a bellman to get me a key. The club lounge […] was conferrable but didn't have much in the way of stacks, but did have sodas. The room was very good and clean. The AC in these rooms is a wall unit and the thermostat only goes down to 70 degrees F but it worked for me. What I really liked was the location in Pasadena. It was a prime spot in a quiet condo neighborhood yet you have access to the convention center and shopping. Metro link is also not far away – so you can have access to most of LA that is what sold it for me! Mehr

Short, pleasant walk to town, lots of shops and restaurants. Room was large and comfortable.

My stay last week was average, could have done much better for the high rate a night. The hotel is old, so it seems as if they are trying to "cover up" it's age rather than undergo much needed renovation. Front desk was average, maid opened my door at 11 am even though checkout at noon. Would not recommend staying here for the price and quality.

Nothing spectacular. But no complaints. It was a comfortable room, quiet, clean and good location. My only potential complaint would be the loud air-conditioning unit...but that was pretty minor.
