I needed something close to the airport with a shuttle for an early flight, the staff was friendly, shuttle every 30 minutes, room was quiet and a was able to get a great nights sleep and catch my flight on time. I will definately stay here again.

The hotel is great, but the shuttle from the airport has always taken about 30 minutes for pickup.

Above the average 3 star hotel. I would stay there again.

I tagged along with my husband while he had business meetings at this hotel, planning to do my business online from the room. Got up the first morning, planning to work awhile before cleaning up, but, alas, the coffee pot would not work. Dressed, went to the front desk to ask for assistance, and the gentleman there offered me a complimentary coffee […] from their Starbucks counter for my trouble. I thanked him, but explained that I was working in my room, and I really wanted a coffeee in my room throughout the day. He said, no problem, you can just come get a free coffee whenever you want, I will always be here. No, I said, I want a working coffee pot. He said he'd try. Never heard another word about it, and my next visit downstairs, he wasn't even there to honor the offer of free coffee. Bad, bad customer service! Mehr

Not a high end luxury hotel but can't beat the price. Nice staff too.

They had cockroaches

everthing seemed very nice except when i got to the rest room. the restroom was very small for a 1 bedroom. for a hilton period. on top of that the restroom smelled like urine...very discusting. it seemed it had not been cleaned for days. but other than that the hotel was very nice compared to others.

The hotel looks like it used to be nice but has some aging now. The service at the front desk was tremendous and what you'd expect from Doubletree but the cost of food and surrounding area made it a bit of a mixed review. There are signs stating everywhere that they are not responsible for theft which made me wonder if there had been much of it in past. […] Parking is limited and so you have to park on the side of buildings at night without monitor or light and the side entrance doors don't even open by key at night. Just gives you an uncomfortable feel in general. There was a hockey team staying there and they seemed to have had a food fight in the hall with donut holes so it was a but messy in the halls but the people working there were great so it's a mixed review. i think this is a really nice hotel but the cookies were hard. And if you stay at Doubletree on a regular, you know they are known for those good hot cookies.

I have stayed at this hotel a few times before flying out to other locations and the staff is always friendly and very helpful. With a nights stay you can park your car for free while you are out of town with a free shuttle ride to and from the airport. The room is comfortable, but also tech savvy for any travelers away on business. The location is […] convenient to the airport, but otherwise there isn't much to do in the immediate area for visitors. Mehr

Overall the Hotel is very nice. Staff at the front desk and restaurant very nice and friendly. The bathroom is very small and had some mildew in the tiles. Mattress very soft, not good if you have back problems. Denny's is just within walking distance if you don't want to use the Hotel Restaurant. Website listed there was a charge for Internet access, […] but once you are onsite that is not the case. Overall I would stay there again. Mehr

This hotel is fantastic, but there is nothing nearby other than the airport. The beds are very comfortable, and the breakfast buffet is awesome. But if you're relying on mass transit, you will be stranded.

We arrived on Saturday morning at 8am. We had 2 rooms reserved and check in was for 3p.m. We were allowed to check in both rooms early, no extra charge. Guest laundromat located on the 4th floor. Hotel clean and employees were very pleasant.

We got "stranded" in Dallas on business and were very fortunate to have found this wonderful hotel, with and occupency. (There was a HUGE college football game we were unaware of going on). The staff were TOP NOTCH, and very professional, but friendly and so so helpful. The room was neat and clean. And our 6 year old was AMAZED by the pool, it was clean, […] and offered a "deep" end. We will not find ourselves "stranded" ever again in Dallas, we will reserve rooms ahead of time again and again for this hotel. And will be sure to rececommend it to anyone looking to stay in Dallas. my room was infested with sugar ants and despite reporting it 3 days in a row, the problem was never taken care of and was never given a new room as I requested. Also the location, while close to the airport the only other option besides the restaurant inside the doubletree is Denny's. No thank you. Just nothing close / within walking distance that's […] worth eating at. Mehr

This hotel was wonderful. The customer service could not have been better and the location was excellent. The room was extremely comfortable and definitely clean. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Plan to stay at this hotel during my next visit.

Very nice hotel and close to DFW.

We had a quick overnight stay due to a next day flight in Dallas. The van arrived promptly at the airport to pick us up once I called the hotel to inform them we have arrived. Yummy free chocolate chip cookies up our arrival. Friendly and helpful staff. Only problem was difficulty locating our room once we got off the elevator. We weren't the only ones […] walking through the halls trying to locate the hotel number. We partnered with another visitor and together we were able to locate our rooms. Very confusing floor plan! We ate and had a couple drinks at the on-site restaurant/bar. We ate our meal at the bar. The food and cocktails were mediocre. The bartender was overly friendly and talkative. Almost to a fault. Overall, though, our experience was good. They had a van waiting to pick us up at 6am the next morning to return to the airport. Mehr

When you walk into a Doubletree Hotel, one of the first impressions you have, is that someone has been pretty busy baking cookies. The smell of their chocolate chip cookies is a very comforting feeling when you are away from home, even if it is just for one night. This hotel has come a long way in upgrading the experience for the travel, with a comfortable […] entry area, seating, front desk area. Beyond the initial impression, the hallways to the rooms are tire and old. They have spent the dollars where they get the most impact...the rooms. My room was totally renovated and extremely comfortable. From the beautiful amore and chest of drawers, to the incredible bed. The lounge chair has all the comforts of home with the amenities the modern wired traveler has come to expect. Power on the chair, a laptop deck and good lighting. The overall experience is enjoyable and the hotel earned my approval. Mehr

The hotel is quite convenient and very friendly staff. A/C did not work well. Old drinks and food left in room from previous guests, and bathroom supplies not restocked. The overall stay is not what you expect from normal "Doubletree" hotels.

Although the original room I was given was not seviced by the maid for that day, the desk corrected the problem immidiately and escoted me to my room. Great service at this hotel and well woth the money.

My flight out of Dallas was canceled, so I had to spend the night. There were many canceled flights due to severe weather, so the airlines, hotels, and restaurants were a bit overwhelmed. I managed to get a room at the Wyndham, but the shuttle I booked never arrived (after an hour), so I had to pay a taxi (minimum fare: $25) to drive me the 6 miles […] to the Wyndham. The room was comfortable and clean, but the bar/restaurant was a mess, with only one server, and many of the tables had yet to be bussed, so I walked across the street and had a nice meal at the Westin. Check-in and check-out were very smooth. Mehr

I checked in with no problems and decided to purchase an item from the hotel shop next to the desk and after heating it in my microwave, I found mold inside my hotpocket. I exchanged it for another one after speaking to the "manager" who didn't seem to care much. same thing with my second hot pocket. moldy food is not good for you and I thank God that […] I decided to break the hot pocket in half before trying to eat it. I contacted headquarters and they didn't do anything about it. I travel a lot and this is not one of my favorite experiences. Mehr

This room was nice for the price that we paid. It was obvious that some corners were cut in the design (paint splattered on some of the walls, towel hanger fell off the back of the door unprovoked, bathroom was very small, TV picture was slightly fuzzy despite the large screen), but it was a good room to stay in overnight of for a weekend--especially […] when flying out of the airport. The shuttle service was especially helpful with great service to and from the hotel as early as 4am. They offer complimentary breakfast starting at 6am as well, although we did not get to stay to enjoy it because our flight left so early. The bath products were nice and the location was very convenient. Several hotels in the surrounding area and a gas station nearby add for a decent surrounding neighborhood. The staff was courteous and helpful. The room was clean. I would recommend this to someone that wants an efficient, safe and clean hotel for a few nights. I would not recommend it to someone wanting a pampered, elaborate experience of a romantic weekend away. The bar and restaurant looked very nice too, but we did not eat/drink there. Mehr
