Der Service und die Bedienung waren super, sehr freundliche, aufmerksame und nette Menschen. Auch der Shuttleservice ist freundlich und gut organisiert.

Hotel nicht mehr ganz neu, aber OK! Liegt ausserhalb am Highway, Auto notwendig. Rezeption sehr hilfsbereit, mittelgrosse Zimmer mit Microfridge + guten Betten, laute Klimaanlage. Sauberkeit i.O. Gutes Frühstück! Supermarkt, Restaurant + Tankstelle auf dem Weg oder mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Nachteil: Pool war ohne Hinweis wg. Renovierungsarbeiten geschlossen und somit nicht nutzbar!

It was everything we hoped the hotel to be; clean, safe and close to our reason for staying in Timonium. The distance to the Inner harbor was nominal ( 30 minutes ).

"The Crowne Plaza in Timonium"
was a beautiful hotel. We have stayed there before and will stay there again. Everything from checking in to checking out was great. Everyone we talked to was very polite.

Very poor service- the registration staff "lost" my reservation two days in a row. I called the day prior to my visit to confirm my reservation and was told I had no reservation and was mistaken or had called the wrong hotel, only to have it eventually found under an incorrect spelling. It was not corrected and the same thing happened when I arrived. […] I was turned away and it took getting the manager to convince them to keep looking for my reservation. Again, it was found. The room was a No Smoking room, but it reeked of stale cigarette smoke. The room was poorly decorated and the decor clashed, and the bay window held a stunning view of a brick wall. The beds were comfy and the room was otherwise clean. For the price I was not impressed, it was no better than a crappy el-cheapo hotel. Mehr

Main desk had old torn protector. Room wallpaper had holes, mold on 1st floor &J toilet broke. No washcloths &J old towels. Bar closed @ 11:00pm. Old gameroom
"Comfortable room, loud music"
The hotel overall is comfortable and well maintained. During my second stay there however, there was an event going on that had loud music playing which I could hear in my main hall-facing room. The music ended by 11:30 or so but it was still somewhat annoying.
"Overhaul Needed"
The only thing about this hotel was 3 or 4 star rated, was its size. Very large. The place needs an overhaul. Bed sheets and pillows were very dirty, needed to move to another room upon a late checkin. Not fun after unpacking and wanting to simply pass out. The towels were very dirty and aged, needed to grab a bunch off one of their carts to find a […] couple clean ones. My recommendation is stay somewhere else. Mehr

Avoid at all cost!!!! First, they booked multiple lacrosse teams with little kids who banged on doors with their sticks and were generally unruly and unsupervised. Second, the lights from the bar and tvs shined through brilliantly into the room til the wee hours becasue the curtains would not close. Third, 9am sharp Sunday morning, housekeeping made […] such a ruckus knocking on doors yelling "housekeeping" to neighboring rooms and could care less others were still sleeping with privacy tags on their doors. "Nothing we were looking for"
WE SPEND THREE NIGHTS ON THIS HOTEL WHILE WE HAD SOME WORK DONE IN OUR HOUSE. VERY BAD EXPERIENCE. WHAT THEY CALL A SUITE IS A VERY BAD ROOM WITH OLD AND DAMAGE FURNITURE. THE PILLOWS WERE PROBABLY FROM THE GEORGE WASHINGTON TIME... THEY WE NEVER SEE US AGAIN AND I WILL NOT RECOMMEND.

The hotel was very convienent, right off the highway and close to the towson mall and the inner harbor. The room was very clean along with the rest of the hotel. The front desk clerk coud've been a bit more helpful but all in all it was a good place to stay. I would definitely stay there again.

"Timonium Crown Plaza"
Decent hotel for the money. Food in the restaurant was actually pretty darn good. Health club needs an ergometer (rowing machine). Vending machines did not work. Free internet was a plus and the staff was helpful. Business center has farmed-out computer equipment that was unusable. Would have liked to know this before I wasted 20 minutes trying to […] print boarding passes. Again, staff helped me by printing behind desk. Worthwhile stay here, I'd recommend. Mehr
"Nice Place"
The room was clean and nicely decorated. The only thing that was a little disappointing was that there were no extra blankets or pillows in the guest room closet. I called the front desk for an extra blanket and they sent up an extra bed sheet. The staff was friendly and otherwise helpful
"Free shuttle service"
I was pleasantly surprised to discover there is a free shuttle service. I had to go to Johns Hopkins Greenspring Station and the shuttle took me there- not sure if there are other drop off locations or not. I really just needed a place to sleep before my interview so I did not spend much time in the hotel. I ordered room service which was great. I […] also forgot my toothbrush and they very promptly delivered one to me. My only complaint is that I found a long curly blonde hair on the pillow. Otherwise the bed seemed clean and I was too exhausted to complain so I put that pillow aside and fell asleep. "Nice Hotel for business stay"
I stayed at this hotel for 5 days for business. It was nice and comfortable although for a nice hotel I was surprised that there was no micro wave or refridgerator in the room. Maybe it is so you will use the restaraurant. I used room service on the first night and swore it would be the last. The food was terrible. Even if it were cheap which it wasn't […] it tasted bad. The French onion soup tasted like water and the cheese on top tasted like cardboard. The steak was so so and the potato was as hard as a rock. Other than that the room and rate was fair. "Crowne Royal Baltimor Hunt Valley"
When we arrived it was bedlam as a college fair was underway. We had our room promptly and all was well. We went to their restaurant for dinner. We had to get our own table and menu's. Service was zero. After 10 minutes, I talked to the bartender who went to get a waitress who showed up 12 minutes later. She was very courteous and took our order and […] explained the kitchen was slow. The food was very good and we enjoyed that part of our meal. "Bad Experience"
When I checked in, the gentlemen at the front desk was rude. I got to my room and the toilet water was yellowish brown. When I got a cup of water from the sink it looked like tea. Lack of hot water. I got up to get a shower and the water was BROWN!! I called the front desk and they just told me to let it run for a while. It ran for over a half hour […] and I could not wait any longer for I had appointments. They made no effort to accomodate me. The hall noise was loud .... someone running vacum at 10:30 at night!! "needs improvement"
towels looked kind of old. there should be at least a microwave in the room. You have to pay to use the business center- i thought that was very cheap of the hotel
"Great Hotel-Great Service"
We stayed at the Crowne Plaza for a wedding of a family member. When the zipper on my wife's dress broke as she was dressing for the wedding, the staff at the front desk tried to find us a seamstress-IMMEDIATELY, but due to time constraints we opted for the safety pin route. These guys gave us about 15 of the little sewing kits that travelers have just […] so we could take the safety pins out. They really went out of their way to help us. The room was as attractive as the pictures. It was very clean and spacious. We enjoy the Plaza every time we travel. Mehr
"Nice hotel!"
Hotel was recently renovated, and it's about 10 minutes from the inner harbor. My only complaints were that the window only had a light curtain, and there was no way to have additional shade. They also wanted to have a one time charge of $15 for using the microwave. The a/c was great, it was clean, and quiet.
"Great room for the money...good location."
Overall I was pleased with the location, the quality of service and the price for this hotel. No complaints whatsoever! The Northern Lights restaurant within the hotel was a real bonus. Reasonably priced appetizers and entrees that hit the spot.
"Outstanding Service, Great for the Money"
This was more like a 5 star hotel and was beautiful, comfortable & totally exceeded our expections considering the low price we were paying. Everyone was so friendly and eager to help or serve you without being asked to. We wanted to kill some time and go down to roam the Inner Harbor and were going to drive. A hotel employee told us definitely not […] to drive but to take the Light Rail which is like a trolley/train that goes through the woods and through the streets. It was really nice, only a few bucks round trip and you could walk to the trolley/train pick up right from the hotel which dropped you off right smack in the middle of the Inner Harbor. My husband walks with a cane and they offered to drive him down to the trolley/train pick up station. When I come back to the area again I will most definitely stay here again. Mehr
"Nice place to stay"
Our room was clean..was worried about being on the first floor so close to where the pool and lobby area of the hotel, but was PLEASANTLY surprised at the nice accomodations. Got a GREAT night's sleep. Would HIGHLY recommend this hotel. Well worth the price!

Nice hotel for the money. Nice pool which is new (just opened this June 2009). Nice bar, great restaurant with huge portions. Very comfortable beds. Awesome showerhead! However, the room we stayed in had a very slow draining sink and the toilet was difficult to flush at times. The hallways and rooms could use some attention to the wallpaper and/or paint. […] A lot of wallpaper starting to peel at the seams. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They couldn't have been better! Mehr
