This hotel was clean and the rooms were comfortable. The bathroom could have been larger and nicer but at least it was clean. Getting to the hotel was a little tricky due to the highway turn-arounds but nothing impossible to do. Not a bad stay at all.

Wonderful all the way around. Breakfast was fantastic. Our car battery died and maintanance even gave us jump! This is our new go to place when we go to Austin.

Nothing special, but clean and quiet

Fairly priced, comfortable, nice indoor/outdoor pool that was awesome for the kids.

We like this Holiday Inn for a couple of reasons... We live in Dallas and it is an easy out from town when we leave to go back. Plus, if you ask for an outside room, the windows open and the view is more green than not. Unless there is a convention (which they seem to have regularly) staying there, the hotel is generally quiet and the staff friendly. […] A basic, utilitarian hotel. Mehr

I stay at this hotel 6-7 times a year. It is normally very quiet, usually business people. This trip, the hotel was sold out due to some area activities. Very loud noises way into the night, no hotel challenging these rowdy guests. I was very glad when everyone left.

Have stayed here several tmes previously, tried the breakfast this time. The breakfast was very expensive. We had to wait over 30 minutes for it and my biscuit was so reheated it crunched like a hard cookie. Other than that the hotel is great, just don't waste your time or money eating at the Parks Restaurant.

Front staff was nice and room was good. Reserved a 2 full bed room but when we arrived they "sold out" of those and we were given a room with a king with a fold out couch. This was not the best set up for our family as we needed the second bed. Was older and remodeled so it was ok.

The front desk was very helpful and nice but the room itself was awful! The hotel needs a major renovation to it's rooms. Rooms were falling apart. Celing tiles were dropping, door knob on bathroom did not work, shower head and almost every other fixture in the room was broken. Shower would not regulate water. Would get it to exactly what you think […] is good then it would heat up to scalding temps. Wouldn't even let my children bathe in there. Rooms had weird smell. Will NEVER stay here again and will not recommend this hotel at all. Mehr

Not the easiest hotel to access, but well worth the small inconvenience. The hotel was perfect, and far exceeds its three star rating.

Good location for the business I was doing in Austin, but it's very difficult to get into the hotel from the road.

I enjoyed my stay.

This is our home away from home. hubby's eyes were swollen (prob allergies) after last time.

We stayed for one night and chose the hotel for the price,location and indoor pool. It is close to lots of dining/shopping options and adjacent to major roads; it was easy to get around town. The pool is indoor/outdoor, and while I wished it were heated more, the kids had a blast. There was a nice indoor hot tub which we all enjoyed. The room was pretty […] standard. It was clean but there was wear and tear, especially on the shower curtain. The property is older but has been kept up and renovated. We would stay again especially at the budget-friendly price we paid. Mehr

My wife and I live in Austin and like to go out and stay at places in town. No drinking and driving! So we have stayed at the Holiday Inn a few times. Rooms are nice, good price and we live the bar Legends that is attached the Hotel. Always a good time. Only wish they stayed open until 2am on the weekends. Overall. Awesome

Hotel fit our needs for the one night we stayed. The indoor pool & whirlpool was nice which many in the area do not have. Nice bar but no free breakfast. Very friendly staff but difficult to get to location with nothing in walking distance.

I stay in this hotel 5-6 times per year. For the first time, my room had a couple of things that didn't work...my TV and my hair dryer. When I called about my TV, someone was at my door within seconds with new batteries for my remote. When the battery replacement didn't work, someone else came immediately to replace the remote. The next day, my hair […] dryer didn't work. When I called the fron desk, I was asked to go to the front desj to pick up another one. The service was great, but perhaps someone should be checking these things periodically so guests don't have to call for maintenance or replacements. Mehr

I asked the management to switch me from a room after I could hear every word the neighbors were saying. I assumed they were loud-talkers. Things got worse in the new room: snoring through the walls all night.

Entry to the hotel is tricky, but accessible once you understand the lay of the land. Hotel was clean, staff was friendly, and the stay was pleasant (very few patrons the week following Christmas). No restaurants within walking distance, so the lack of continuous food service can be a bit of a drawback.

My wife and I have stayed here numerous times. It is a great price, centrally located to where we like to go in Austin and quiet...mainly due to the fact that it's hard as heck to get to! But once you know how, it's not hard. The hotel underwent a pretty large scale upgrade not long ago and it looks great! This is not our first stay here. It is close to shops and restraunts, The staff is excellent, always friendly and personable. Onsite bar and restraunt. I highly recommend staying here for business and pleasure.

Windows open which is a plus. This is fine for the price - nothing special but we've stayed here many times for one-nighters and it is clean and the staff is friendly. I do wish, however, that they would put a couple of bottles of water in the rooms.

There are lots of choices and we come in town about once a month so have stayed at many of the local hotels. We have come back to this one hotel over and over because it is priced fairly, comfortable, great service, good beds, nice pool. It's in a perfect location for us near movies and Whole Foods. We like the people that work there. They can arrange […] to have a refrigerator in your room if you ask. We've stayed there maybe a dozen times and always had a good experience. Mehr

We have stayed three times in the past three years and keep coming back. location is good, nice restaurant called mesa down the road. staff ok.

The pool was not sparkling like the photos, looks like it needs a real good cleaning! Dinner room service was great, two thumbs up!!! Breakfast was disgusting, do not pre-pay buy breakfast and do NOT eat breakfast at the hotel, eat elsewhere.

Our check-in was a breeze, and the clerk was friendly. We walked in to a handicap accessible room although we didn't request it.... The bathroom was handicap friendly with a walk-in shower and no tub. The hand-held shower spray was loose so we had to wedge it to keep it in place. The 'lip' along the floor didn't prevent the entire floor from being soaked, […] and I think the drain was possibly clogged. Otherwise the room was decent and the bedding was acceptable, although not plush by any means. We ordered room service and the food arrived in a timely manner, but for the money ( a ten dollar burger) it was just fair. We enjoyed a movie and the TV was a nice large screen. The hotel bar was nice but the overall appearance of the building was a bit dated, but clean. We had breakfast in the cafe which was good but again just fairly routine fare. A big plus was popcorn in the lobby. The staff mgr made sure we had fresh popcorn and it was the best thing we ate all weekend. Overall, our experience was acceptable but not a WOW experience. Mehr

This is a beautiful, fantastic place, particularly for the price. The staff couldn't possibly be nicer. The breakfast restaurant is excellent, the serving staff are also superb, including the Rome-born manager. The room was the biggest I've ever had the pleasure of staying in for no extra cost. Everything in perfect working order. The only drawback […] to this hotel is that the location requires a freeway looparound to drive north, and the same to return from the south. It's not so bad once you get used to it, but I have to admit, it is inconvenient. Mehr

Great location. Restaurant sport/bar with a fantastic food and great staff. Check inn/out very fast and a pleasure to be a costumer.

We were very happy with the hotel itself. It was just a little confusing to access it from Highway 360. I got directions from a salesperson at the Arboretum and we did fine. The staff at the hotel was very helpful providing maps for us to locate other places in the city.

This is the 2nd worst hotel I have stayed in. The photos on the website make the hotel rooms look nice, but the room we were in was dark and drab. They only had two lamps with low wattage bulbs in them. The furniture was nice and so were the bed linens but we laughed when our little girl asked what is that on the table. She was pointing at the old tube […] style tv. She has only seen a flat screen. The carpet looked a little dirty and stained so did the paint on the walls. The bathroom is in need of a renovation bad. Under the sink was dirty and a wall cover was open. There is only WI-Fi in the lobby area and not in the rooms. The restaruant needs new furniture, it looked dated. The food was ok but did not like being charged over $2.00 for coffee and it's not Starbucks quality. It is hard to get to the hotel and I am glad I had GPS. The only nice thing about the hotel was the staff. Mehr

Location was perfect, the bed was quite comfortable, and the staff that I interacted with were quite good, BUT our room felt really old. It was equipped with an old 36 in. box TV. There were popcorn ceilings and many of the ceiling tiles in the bathroom had water stains as if leaking from above and two of them also had visible mold. None of this would […] have been so horrible, but I found it sort of unacceptable for the outrageous price that I paid ($$$). Unfortunately, I will probably stay there again because of the location and the fact that the other nearby hotels seem to consistently be fully booked. Mehr

The staff was very professional. Never had any issues. Room was very clean and spotless. The shower head was very powerful and efficient. I have been to alot of different other hotels and this by far considering the price is great for the value I paid for it!

Hotel staff were great on check in. The hotel was nice, clean, and convenient but I was expecting a much nicer room for the price and brand. An earlier breakfast start time would be good for early morning check outs and the same quality can be found at surrounding hotels for a less.

My children and I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was clean and equiped with all we needed for the evening. A resturant downstairs, very convenient. The coffee was wonderful and the pool was great. Also, the location was great, a little off the main highway in a quiet neighborhood.

Hotel very basic for the price. Not worth the money.

The empolyees were very polite and helpful in every aspect. Making our visit to Austin very rewarding. Great staff and great serve. Thanks, Jorge in room service.
