Old hotel that needs a major face lift. It smells and feels dirty. The in room air control is SO loud that it makes it difficult to sleep.

Aging building, but very comfortable. We slept great. Shuttle service flexible, and professional. Boulevard Grill onsite is a plus - the service in restaurant was prompt, but unfriendly.

This hotel was beautiful and the staff were very nice too. The Room was beautiful and I had no problem with anything. I seriously recommend this hotel!

Upon arriving at the hotel the front desk person was very rude, not at all happy to see me. I had prepaid for the room through Hotels.com and didn't recall doing this. He charged me to park my car, as I was going on a trip and this was the reason I stayed at the hotel. I was very put off by him and the guys in morning were not much better. The location […] is closer to the airport but I'm going back to the Hilton on my next trip. Mehr

I was only there for a few hours following a wedding and then a 6 am flight. I arrived around 1 am and they were very quick & nice. Computer access to print my boarding pass. Shuttle was easy. Bathrooms clean. Paid $3 to park car per day. Convenient.

The hotel was very nice. It was quiet and comfortable. I loved the king size bed. Not too bad.

Convenient, clean and comfortable. Good food at inhouse rest/bar. Timely transport to Airport. Minor repairs needed, but it's the economy, stupid!

I like the service of the hotel very much, but I think the quality of the hotel could have been better for what I paid. The carpets need to be changed. The elevator is very slow. DO NOT eat at the restaurant. I ordered the steak primevara and they made me steak (okay) with angel hair spaghetti (not even close). That cost me $18. It should have cost […] me $5, but I was starving. Take the 24 hour free shuttle and tell them to take you somewhere. Mehr

This hotel wasn't what it was cracked up to be on their advertisement. It wasn't in the best part of town and not near any places to eat etc. For the most part it was clean but had too many places where people would smoke and it was a little run-down. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone who was going to stay in Kansas City for any length of time. It is […] good for an overnight hotel and convienent to the airport. Mehr

The actual hotel was very cozy convenient but there was never parking. I got this rom for a music festival and arrived back after midnight each night and had to park in absolutely ridiculous locations, one of which was on the street in a sour that I an not entirely sure was legal. It was ridiculous. They could have also offered a complimentary breakfast […] as a consolation to horrible parking. Otherwise the hotel was good. Mehr

Hotel staff was great!! Room was compact, but comfortable. Elevator was very slow, small, and HOT!! "no air conditioning in it" Breakfast Buffet was the best I have had for selection and quality and price!!!!

I only have two complaints on this room & service, 1. Did not have a mini fridge 2. I asked for clean towels waited for an hour, I ended up going to retrieve them myself. Overall my stay was pretty pleasant. I would stay again despite the two issues.

My room was unacceptably hot. It never cooled. It was impossible to sleep in the heat. The following day the hotel changed my room which was also inconvenient, but necessary as the wall unit could not provide adequate cooling.

Room was dirty. Was put in a handicapped room with no counter space in the bathroom. Air didn't work well, made for miserable night of sleep. Very hard to find a parking spot because of the park and fly.

We were looking for a place to park and fly and this turned out to be a great spot! The shuttle service was outstanding as well as the hotel. Highly recommend!

When we checked in, our room was horrible. The bed was broken, the air conditioner cover was broken and held up by a 2x4, there were cobwebs on the ceiling, and water stains on the ceiling, gaps in the door, you name it. The staff was good at switching rooms for us, and the second room was better, except for the broken light by the side of the bed, […] and that the bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. The air conditioner was super loud and woke us up whenever we tried to sleep. After returning from our evening activities, the parking lot was so full that we had no place to park. We had to park at another nearby hotel. Do yourself a favor, spend a little more, stay at the Hilton. Mehr

Being that it reached 100 degrees while we were visiting, we decided to use the pool. I figured it would not be the best, but I was completely disgusted. There were 2 bird eggs in the pool that I removed so my children would play with it. There were feathers (which were fitting with the egg), but the point where I had everyone in our group leave was […] when I saw not 1, but two floating animal feces in the pool. I reported the issue, but the pool still looked bad the next day. Mehr

We stayed two nights with our two children. The room was stuffy and we couldn't get it to cool down, the beds were small and hard, and the outside pool was dirty with leaves etc. The first morning at 8 a.m. housekeeping knocked on the door for service, I said we weren't ready yet. 8:30 she knocked again and we said give us 10 min as we were getting […] ready to leave. We returned at 8 p.m. to find that our room wasn't cleaned, no new towels etc. Told front desk and she gave us 2 free drinks at the hotel restaurant, we don't drink so we got sodas for the kids. There are many hotels in the airport area, ones that have free breakfasts. I would not suggest this hotel, spend the 20-30 extra for a nicer one with plenty of room and an a/c that cools down the room. Mehr

Dont stay here if you want to be in downtown KC..too far.

Positives...Has an outdoor pool. Staff in hotel restaurant was so nice and food was good, too. Negatives...No steps in pool (only ladders) difficult for small children to enjoy. Rough sheets. Dated. Very small rooms. 1st day housekeeping came at 2:30 (naptime). 2nd day came at 8am...seriously!?! Had to request someone came (took forever). But there […] was one nice young lady at front desk in daytime. Can't say the same for the rest. :( Mehr

The doors/walls in this hotel are PAPER THIN. They put us on the first floor right in front of the ice maker/vending machines and right next to the elevator. None of us could sleep. The bar maid/waitress in the hotel's restaurant/bar was supremely grouchy. No other restaurants nearby, nothing within walking distance.

Good hotel for the money. Could do a better job picking up room service from hallways and clean the room when you are there multiple days.

Cheap sheets, fan did not work on a/c system, low quality bed. Good location near airport. Hotel is old and needs some updates.

Mistakenly short-booked at another hotel and needed a place for one night and had an early flight the next morning. Booked this easily online while I was in another part of town. Upon checking I was given a coupon for a free beverage. I was asked if I needed free airport shuttle and at what time. Front desk staff was polite, professional and attentive. The […] room was clean, quiet and nice - overlooking the pool. The on site restaurant was ok. Service was a bit slow, but they didn't have a lot of wait staff for all the customers. The wait staff doubled as the hostesses. Food was tasty and reasonably priced. I was happy to be away from the previous hotel I had been in for 3 nights. Many things dirty, broken and no windows with a view to the outside - and I mean no sunlight. I was delighted with my Sheraton room. Mehr

For those using the Airport is very close but plane takeoffs were not heard when inside the hotel. Staff was very helpful. Only drawback to this hotel is there are not very many close eating establishments and the meals in the hotel were quite expensive for what you ordered. We would stay at this hotel though again if visiting the Kansas City area.

The shower didn't drain, the toilet didn't flush, the staff was overwhelmed. IT was a full weekend but being busy is NEVER an excuse for poor customer service. We could not get towels even after asking for them multiple times. Finally a very nice housekeeping staffer let us take them from her cart. I would not stay again at all. Hotel was nice, beds were comfortable, noise level was minimal, however there was not enough parking. Had to make up parking spots both nights we stayed.

Their was some type of event, was'nt able to park. in the parking lot , we and the people with us were not very happy Their was only one person serving food

I just got in from an overseas flight and needed sleep. At 8:00AM the housekeeper came down the hall knocking on each door with a key or something metal and yelled "housekeeping, do you need anything" She woke me 5 doors away. When she knocked on my door is said go away loudly and she still tried opening the door. That night there was a party in the […] hotel and at midnight a drunk adult male came down the hall banging on doors as hard as he could. That lasted almost 10 minutes till a girl in his party calmed him down. At no time did I hear anything from the hotel staff, even after I called them. I will never stay there again!!!!!! Mehr

This hotel is the quintessential 3-star. All the needed amenities with no pizazz. My room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. I would stay again.

Spent a few nights there in May. The hotel and room itself was clean and comfortable. Hotel close to airport, shopping, restaurants etc. Our issues were mainly with the restaurant. Overpriced for mediocre food. Room service menu is VERY inaccurate. Lady on phone wanted to argue with me. I was trying to order a couple different salads that they don't […] offer and she was very snotty when I was trying to explain to her that they were on the menu! Front desk staff could do a better job of keeping the noise down in the lobby during normal sleeping hours. Mehr

Parking sucked. Everything else was OK at best. Had to fix my own air conditioning after several calls to the front desk. Luckily I am a triained HVAC guy or the heat from the room would have burnt us up.
