Hotel was convenient for my purposes. The room was dusty. The restaurant was dusty. The entre I chose was a Chicken Pot Pie which had very little chicken. When I mentioned this to my server, she said she would tell the kitchen, but did not offer to have a manger speak with me. The servers did not smile or show a welcoming nature.

I was disappointed with the unique set up of this hotel. My room window faced the inside lobby area of the hotel, which visually I didn't mind. However, the noise from the lobby was disturbing and I was on the 6th floor, I can only imagine it being louder on a lower floor. Also, the fitness center was very inadequate, unkept and seemed disregarded, […] not to mention it was hidden in the far back corner. I normally don't complain. The little interaction I had with the staff was pleasant and the location was ideal, with access to Norfolk, VA Beach and major roads. All in all though, it was not a satisfying stay. Mehr

Nice clean hotel with good location. Nice bar with good service. Restaurant had decent food service could be better, waited way too long for a hostess to sit our party in an empty place.

The room and general hotel was quite nice. Everything was clean and comfortable. The indoor pool area needs a little help, and the restaurant seemed as if they never expected anyone to actually eat there. Also for some reason the coffee bar was also closed.

The room was clean, the shower had doors not a shower curtain, I hate shower curtains. The restaurant and bar were convenient but parking was a bit tight.

Very good hotel for vacation, business or just leisure they have great accomodations for partys family reunions close to interstates where the traveler can go to the beaches downtown Norfolk's light rail system across the bay to colonial Williamsburg just a great location that allow access to all the area has to offer

This hotel meet my picky standards. I try to find very nice hotels that are not very expensive. My family of four was very comfortable. Modern spa like bathroom, large room, quiet. When I needed a sheet set for the sofa sleeper very quickly a man brought sheets and a comforter. Comfortable, clean and same high quality as king bed had. No complaints […] but surprised of neighboring hotels. They seemed average quality and this one was so nice! Mehr

Very comfortable newer hotel. Breakfast not included, but it was a great stay. Fairly close to the boardwalk, but we had our own car too. Highly recommend. Will stay again.

1- The Housekeepper seemed upset with us for asking to have our linen changed after we had been there 5 days. 2- Even after they vaccuumed the room we would end up with long black hair on our feet when we walked on the carpet barefoot. Neither of the two of us in the room had black or long hair. 3-Parking on the weekend was aweful, even when we came […] in early at about 9pm. We are both handicap and the closest parking was at the far end of the building at the restaurant. 4- The sink drain had no lever for up or down, so when my mother tried to soak some clothing, she pushed the drain plug down. When we wrote a note to the house keeper to have it fixed. She told us we would have to crawl under the sink and find the lever that worked the plunger! Mehr

Stayed at this hotel on the night of my wedding. The hotel has a lot of flair to it from the key cards, to the layout in the lobby, to the restaurants inside of it. The room was very clean and the shower was very relaxing. The shades allowed for you to darken the room to the point we had no clue it was morning outside. The staff was very kind and accomodating […] to our needs. The vending machine took some of our money and the hotel immediately refunded the loss so we could use another machine. We stayed here for the weekend and loved it! The rooms were comfortable and quiet. The motel was clean. The employees were super nice. Our only complaint was the spa was out of order, but they are in the process of building a bigger spa, so it was really no big deal to us. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends.

The hotel was nice for the price. The location was great, easy access fromt the highway. The room was ok, it could use some maintenance. The wall paper was peeling off in the bathroom and in the bedroom. Also, the shower had one setting....HOT! The hotel was clean but had a bad smell on the 6th floor. The staff were all very friendly and helpfull.

The rooms were rather small and the mattresse's on the beds were way to soft and uncomfortable, sinking in the middle. The carpet in the room should be cleaned or replaced.The flat sink in the bathroom is attractive, but useless. Other than that the hotel was not bad. The bars and breakfast buffett were great. I was there for a fishing trip and my wife spent the day shopping. We found the location to be excellent to support both our needs. In the evenings we were a short drive from several excellent restaurants and other areas of interest.

Overall, the stay was great, our timing was bad cuz it rained so outside pool was closed, inside pool was cold as well, I didnt like that, hot tub was down, so we didnt get to swim at all. Staff was very friendly and willing to help. Great location, not too far from good food! Other than the pool, highly recommended.

Hotel wasn't as close to Virginia Beach as we would have liked but it wasn't inconvincent. VA beach was about 20 minutes away. Nice Starbucks at the next exit on the way to the beach. The hotel room had a nice renovated bathroom with a nice big shower. The bed was comfortable and the flat screen TV was nice to have there.

Staff was terrible and the rooms were not clean at all. Also everything in the bathroom was broken. Refrigerator was small and not big as promised and did not work well. Find another hotel if possible.

we ate breakfast at the hotel. the choice of breakfast food was good . your server were friendly and made made sure we had everything we needed. could not ask for anything better for the price. hats off to the cook very tasteful.

We were pleased with our stay for the weekend. The only thing was it was located a lil further from the beach than we thought, but it was not really a deal breaker for us. The staff was helpful whe we checked in except for the fact that we did not get a check in package so when the next morning came we were unaware about the vouchers that were needed […] for the breakfast. The front desk corrected the problem quickly. So thank you ladies. Also, the room attendent(Barbara) was very helpful. Only had one elevator in operation. Staying on the 5th floor was a problem. I had knee surgery and ir was difficult for me to walk, so we had to spend time waiting for the elevator.

Decent hotel for the price. Very good restaraunt. Great for kids with the indoor and outdoor pools. Bathroom showers could be a lot cleaner.They are tile showers and the corners were grimey. The hotel was a lot nicer than I expected! It had a lovely outdoor pool and also an indoor pool. I requested early check-in and was granted it. I was then asked if I was part of their rewards program and I wasn't. In a simple registration I was handed a welcome package with a free bottle of water, almonds and a chocolate bar. The TVs in the rooms were […] new and the bathrooms were spacious and updated. The only complaint I have is that there weren't blackout curtains for our room so sleeping in wasn't really an option. Our room was fine, but the hallways to get to the room were extremely hot with no air conditioning. Also the rooms with the vending machines and ice were even hotter and we tried every vending machine on floors 1-4 just to find one that worked.

We were very happy and satisfied with this hotel. the lobby is very spacious and modern looking. our room was comfortable and spacious as well. the maid service was very good and thorough. we really enjoyed staying here.

Our stay at the Holiday Inn in Norfolk Virginia Beach was very comfortable. The staff was very courteous, helpful and friendly. My only disappointment was that the hot tub was out of service during the time of my stay.

its a little out of the way but a few exits more and you are near shopping centers and restaurants. decent food and bar in the restaurant itself. near the highway so you can quickly get on and head to the beach approx. 10 minutes away.

Surprised we couldn't check in at 2pm, although their scheduled time is 3pm. The room was fairly decent, although there was a take-out tray of chicken nachos left in the room's refrigerator.
