Where do I start the first room we had snow coming in the window and the window was closed the snow was coming in around the frame of the window . The heat did not work. so we moved to a different room the second room was a little better then the first. The Jacuzzi did not have any heat. the roof leaked in the rec room. The hot water went out couldn't take a shower. Cable went out. Beds were HORRIBLE. The breakfast bar was a joke. Wasn't very clean. Hot tub jets didn't work. I wasn't expecting much for the price but seriously this was much worse than I would expect. The only plus it had was it was right off the highway.

Elevator got stuck on our first attempt to use it. Our toilet in our bathroom was dirty, along with the rest of the bathroom. Bathroom light did not work all of the time.Room had a very musty smell. Hotel was in a good location for where we wanted to go. Staff were excellent on the nite that we arrived. A little less friendly on the morning we checked out. I was a little disappointed in the breakfast. Thought there could have been a little more . Had a beautiful pool and play area for families. The hotel was located in a bad part of town my boyfriend and I felt very out of place. It was although a roof over our heads for the night.

Motel seems to be in state of refurbishing and still has a way to go but we were quite satisfied with it. Very good breakfast

After reading some reviews, I was a bit leary about booking here but it was the only hotel in the area that had vacancies on short notice. Some people will always find something to complain about so I decided that the complaints may have just been whining. Besides, there were a few people who said that it was a good value and that was what I was looking […] for - not a vacation hot spot, just a reasonable night's rest between shopping experiences. That is basically what we got. A decent value, the place was not the cleanest, but definately was well maintained given the price and current state of the economy. I mean, if it ain't broke, don't fix it or repair it. The first night was in a room with an updated air conditioner. My wife complained about cigarette smoke in the room (whole hotel is non-smoking) so they gave us another room for the next night with an old style A/C but it worked okay. The interior enclosed courtyard was was extremely hot but had working swimming pool, ping pong, foosball, pool table and some old video games. All the room air conditioners contributed to the heat in the courtyard but the hotel hallways were not quite as hot. The staff was pleasent and very accomodating. America's Best Value? Well I don't know about that but certainly excellent value in this day and age. Beds were clean and fairly comfortable (but I am spoiled with a pillowtop at home). TV had all the channels I needed. Quiet well behaved guests. The inclusive breakfast was adequate if not good. Oh, and the tubs that don't drain? That's not a problem, I just didn't know how it worked. There is a toggle plug activated by stepping on it. When I complained, the desk staff explained how it worked. It might help if they did that at check-in time for those of us who are not bathroom fixture-savvy. Our second room had a manual plug in the tub. All in all a good experience, not the nicest neighbourhood but only 15 minutes from Birch Run outlet mall. There is a McDonald's across the roa Mehr

This hotel was not well maintained. Replacement towels were not given when the room was cleaned. The hotel did not have a pleasant odor. Many or most of the amenities of the hotel did not work or were in such poor condition no one would want to use them.

Very very dirty room with odor (smelled like mold, pet, feet, with cornchips), bathroom was the worst: watch spring looking hairs all over the toilet, floor, and in tub. the tub and floors were very dirty. the lobby is clean but the room was filthy! the breakfast: waffles with no syrup, spoiled milk, and very old donuts. The side entrance that is only […] open during daylight hours was never locked. bad part of town with people in the parking lot hanging out in their cars after midnight. also they have large trucks out front with local people picking up merchandise for waht ever reason??? lots of large empty box all over the place. The location is great, right off I-75. The hotel was ok, the air conditioner in the room had a bit of a musty smell. Probably wouldn't stay there again unless in a pinch.

I've stayed in worse hotels but I've also stayed in better. For the location, price and last minute reservations, it was adequate and served it's purpose.....a place to sleep and shower. The room was clean and staff was pleasant. Plus the hotel has a complimentary continental breakfast.

the hotel sure does not look like the website. we took showers and stood in water up to our knees...the they a definate issue we stayed in two different rooms with the same problem. would not go back.

Did not check my identification to verify if i was suppose to have that hotel room or not even though the room was already paid for hotels always check id or check your credit card did not do either one, that just made me a little uneasy
