Free Internet is a plus. Staff is rude and not courtesy. Breakfast is not the best. Prices are okay.

Lady at ticket counter did not tell us about real estate time share so we waste 3 hrs in nowhere. Also at real estate sales parson gave us bad attitude after we refused to buy.

Thouht the hotel did a vert good job in catering to young children. (Small movie theater, arcade, spacious pool area). Clean and larger than average rooms. Good proximity to Disney attactions. Parking can be difficult if you arrive late.

Good location,very clean , cozy beads.

Great hotel, but if you waive your key card anywhere near and electronics device, then it wipes it. Electronic devices are everywhere, so I don't know where they expect you to put your key. We were there 24 hours and had to have out key reset three time. This was a huge inconvenience when your standing outside your room soaking wet from the pool, with […] three small children, and you have to go all the way down to the lobby to get your key reset. Asside from this simple fix, the hotel is great for the area. Probably will become our "go to" hotel in Orlando. Adam, Jacksonville. Mehr

We liked our stay at the Holiday Inn resort. It was close to all attractions and downtown DW. Close to restaurants, convenient stores, Pharmacies "As we needed this at 3am" I recommend this resort if you don't want to pay for higher hotels.

The person who made the reservation for me completely mislead me! I requested a room with two queen size, and ended up with the Children's Suite -- a king and bunk beds! AUGH! Okay if your kids are 8 and 4, not 18 and 14! The other thing is NO continental breakfast...another thing I requested. Plus there is a $12 fee to stay there if you use the pool […] and the activity area, which we didn't because we were only staying overnight. Not worth it. Mehr

We loved this hotel. It is a definite 3.25 star. It was clean and well maintained everywhere we went. Check in was a bit slow but that happens sometimes. 15 minutes drive to Disney attractions. ROOM............Our room was immaculate and comfortable. We had the kids suite with king bed and bunk beds. You can not have child under 6yr on top bunk for […] obvious reasons. My 12yr old found it a bit of an obstacle to get up and down from the top bunk. Great sleep for us all. Plenty of room in the room and bathroom! Modern and very updated. Do not get poolside room if you want quiet. Ask for parking lot side. We did and it was quiet. College size refrigerator and safe in the room. 2 flat screen tvs - one big in main bedroom and one med size on in the bunk bed room. The bunk bed room does not have a complete wall around it. The wall only goes 3/4 of the way up. Probably for air ventalation purposes. POOL........... The pool area was wonderful and much bigger then we expected. My boys swam and swam and swam. Mr. Dan ran the daily kids activities and my boys enjoyed them. The pool is open from 7am to 11pm! There is a small baby pool and 2 hot tubs. Comfy chairs. Tiki Hut with towels. Applebee's operates a Tiki bar there. EATING......There is a decent size food/gift shop that can accommodate most of your basic needs but it is a bit pricey. The hotel is located with restaurants galore all up and down the street. There is a Dollar Tree store very close which is good for buying things to stock the in room fridge with. We like wings so we ordered from Ci Ci's Pizza nearby and got 20 wings for around $13. There is an Applebee's restaurant adjacent to the lobby. We ate breakfast there because of the kids eat free coupons you get upon checkin at the hotel. The restaurant was understaffed, dirty, slow service and it was just yucky all around. This Applebee's needs a serious mangement makeover. There is a Golden Corral within 1-2 blocks which offers decent buffet meal at an ok price. STA Mehr

Clean and comfortable but really noisy. Not sound proof at all. My family were on the 3rd floor and we had people above us that were very noisy. We could hear outside noise at 2:30 in the morning from people hanging out on the parking lot.

Staff was great and accomidated us with our needs. i would reccomend.

It was a wonderful hotel, staff was helphul, and I would suggest this place for others and if I go again I would definitely stay here again.

I had a very pleasant experience staying at this hotel but I feel that it is wrong to charge a resort fee it I and my staff was only sleeping at the hotel and not using the facilities of the property.

All was great except that to leave the hotel you have to make only right turns that can be a nightmare do to the traffic. Also did not like the fact that I had to pay for a shuttle service I never used and for parking my one vehicle two days was a total of $25.00.

The Holiday Inn Lake Buena Vista resort is quiet & comfortable, in my experience during a 2-night stay. It is within 10 min. or so of Walt Disney World. There are many fast-food restaurants right across the street. The only negative was that the resort fee had just been raised by $3/night, and I did not get a chance to use any of the facilities because […] I was busy at a conference. Also, in my room (394) I couldn't keep the shower water in the tub, even by drawing the shower curtain all the way to the back wall. The floor got quite wet, which could be a slipping hazard. When I was there, the rate was $50 below Buena Vista Suites, and just a mile away. I thought it was quite a good value for what I paid. Mehr

We spent two nights at the hotel while at a conference in the area. The staff is extremely pleasant and accomodating. There is an Applebees attached to the lobby which we found very convenient. The bed was a bit hard and didnt seem to match the quality of the other items in the room (think they must have overlooked that up-grade with the remodel) but […] all in all the rooms are VERY clean and it is a very family friendly atmosphere. My wife and I were very pleased with our stay at the Holiday Inn Resort-Lake Buena Vista. The hotel was very clean as well as the grounds. The room was very nice and clean, bed was very comfortable. I only stayed one night but the room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I don't like those one cup coffee makers with all that throwaway plastic.

The hotel was wonderful.

I was very upset to receive an additional fee slid under my door like a ransom note in the middle of the night called a (services fee) "Resort Fee" + tax for which I received no additional service what so-ever. I was under the impression when I handed my credit card to the person at the desk, that the fee they quoted (taxes,service fees etc.) was established, […] and THAT, was the price I had agreed upon for the night. Charging me additional money is like having a fee tacked on to groceries after paying for them. It's not the right thing to do to people during tough economic times, or ever, for that matter. I sincerely hope that I do in fact receive a response to my review. Bearing in mind the old phrase, "If you were happy with your experience, you'll tell one person, If you were not, you'll tell ten. Holiday Inn Resorts holds the key to what I will tell friends and family, and I hope they make it right. At this point in time, I have a very bad taste in my mouth. Mehr

The kids suite is NOT what it claims to be. It is not a separate room it is two partial walls thrown up in the middle of the room with no door. I wanted a separate room for my infant son who goes to bed at 7 pm. I had to sit silently in the dark from then on so as not to keep him up- which I couldve done in any hotel room. The man in the room next to […] me blared his tv so loudly I could hear every word so I don't think the walls are very thick. Difficult to get in and out of. Terrible nearby restaurant options. The location of the hotel was good, but the bus schedule for retuning to hotel from the parks need to be revised,we had to wait very late to get to our hotel,or had to get taxi, and that made it very expensive.the bus time schedule has to be revisit.

My experience overall was grand. There are a few recommendations that I would make. First, the beds are not very comfortable. Also, the transportation to and from theme parks is limited.

I stayed two days in December and we had a great time. We loved the hotel. The rooms were extremely clean, recenytly renovated, everything new and what we enjoyed the most were the new beds and pillows. Also, the hotel was very quite, although the hotel was packed due to the Holidays! We would highly recommended. We can't wait to go back!

The room was spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable. Shower had great water pressure. Pool was nice. Not a huge fan of Applebees but it was convenient because it is attached to the hotel. Free wifi was nice and fast. Very affordable. For the price, I should have gotten another room. Two adults, two teenagers,one shower. Ugh. Overall good experience. […] Pet friendly. I was pleasantly surprised by the hotels inside appearance! Both the lobby and or hotel room were clean and decently decorated. There were no stains on the carpet as other people had complained about before. I loved having a refrigerator and microwave in the room. This really helped us save money on food. We brought our two small dogs with us. I had […] no problems or complaints. We left the TV on when we went to the theme park to keep them from barking at people in the hall. Our room was big and spacious to with 2 queen beds. We will stay here on our next vacation for sure and bring there dogs along. It is also just 2-4 minute drive from downtown Disney. Mehr

My family and I were very pleased with everything during our recent stay, your staff was very accommodating. We would definitely recommend staying at your hotel to our family and friends.

The online details stated that the pool was heated - it was not heated at all which was disappointing and the reason why barely anyone was actually using the pool.

We stayed here for a week in October and were very impressed with everything. The location is great and only a few minutes drive from the Disney Parks and Universal. There are shuttle buses but we mostly used taxis. The rooms are big and well furnished and very clean. We had a standard room. I have stayed here before and the kids suites are much nicer. The mattresses could be upgraded but I have a Tempur Pedic so I have problems sleeping anytime I am away from home. Splurge for the larger room if you can.

I was there on business that started at 5:30am and on my feet all day so I didn't use too many amenities but it was nice to go into Appleby's after work, grab food and drink then head to the room. The staff were pleasant and the bed was very good. Critical when working such crazy hours. I would imagine the same if park hopping all day. Good location […] for Disney area. Hotel served it's purpose...except I forgot a toiletry item (shaver) and according to the sign in the bathroom, the hotel will supply toiletries if you forget them, but the front desk just told me that they did not have them and sent me to the nearest store. And the decorative wraps on the pillows that show "firm"/"soft" were not clean, one of ours […] looked like some one vomited on it and the house keepers just turned it inside out and reused it. Mehr

Good hotel close to Disney and Sea World. Property is in good condition. Clean, spacious rooms with very comfortable beds. Nice pool. Fitness room equipment in good repair. Close to a number of restaurants and Downtown Disney. Only complaint is the hot tub does not get hot enough. An excellent value.
