Holiday Inn Louisville East - Hurstbourne - Louisville

We stayed 2 nights, paid alot of money, they still charged us for a bagel in the morning, no free anything even though when we booked it said different, then the intoxicated people who stayed right next door were up all night 2 nights in a row slamming doors, yelling in the hallways and outside our window in the parking lot, complained to the man behind […] the counter and he just starred at me like "are you done" I should have paid a quarter of the price and stayed at motel six.....at least I wouldn't of had to worry about making a 12 hour trip after not having any sleep for 2 nights..... Beds were great which is one very important factor to me.

We had a great stay, the breakfast wasn't good at all we thought. But the dinner and appatizers were great.

housekeeping was excellent though! the room got good attention everyday--granted my room was the only one occupied in the entire wing. wi-fi was weak at times in room. did not try it in common areas. overall a basic clean comfortable room close to the interstate. weeknight rates overpriced for early august in kentucky.

While the staff was exceptional and the location was good the hotel was in need of updating badly.We arrived at 3PM for check in and the rooms had not been cleaned yet and had to wait over an hour and we were not the only ones, The staff tried to be helpful they could do nothing but wait.This is a busy hotel and it should have been more prepared.

I would never stay there again. The air conditioning did not work right, we did not have the right number of towels for two days we were there, bugs were in the room, shower head leaked, hallway smelled of old smoky smell and security doors were hard to access. Never again. R.D. - Ohio

I booked through hotel.com. My room was paid for by credit card on line. At desk she asked for my credit card again. I told her that we would use no other services and I did not want any charges made on my CC. When I got home on Sunday I checked my online banking and saw that you were keeping $20.00 of my money tied up till the 16th. I asked that this […] not be done and I was charged anyway. Air Conditioner blew out hot air all night. Called Maintenance and they came and turned a knob but it did not solve the problem. Matress very uncomfortable. No support at all. Comode would not flush unless you stayed there with it and flushed it over and over. Bathroom floor unclean. Had to put a towel down to stand on. I could go on and on!

Everything and all staff was great. We have stayed there before and will certainly stay again as we have dear friends only a few minutes away. The food was also very delicious and plentiful. The breakfast buffet was simply unbelievable. We always enjoy being there.

Was overcrowded/. They had over 350 kids there from various teams. They ran our of breakfast food.

Overall, we had a very good experience. The staff was very friendly & efficient, check in and check out was quick. The lobby is very nice, and the lobby bar was a fun place to hang out at the end of the night. Breakfast was very good. The room was a little disappointing. We were in a wing that had older rooms, the kind you could drive up to with an […] exterior door, and they definitely showed their age. They were clean and comfortable, just a little worn-looking. As I entered the lobby, after finding the hotel very easily right off the highway, I was impressed by the expansive, warm, lovely atmosphere. Upon getting to my room, I was also impressed by the spaciousness. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Unfortunately, after I settled in, I began to notice many problems. 1. The toilet takes at least 10 […] seconds to flush all the way. 2. The refreigerator freezes whatever you put in it. I tried to adjust the temperature, but the knob was broken. 3. HATE the single serve coffee maker. It leaves no room to adjust for taste. I ended up buying my own small coffee pot so I could have what I wanted. 4. WORST of all, the heater was in terrible condition. It didn't keep the room warm and the motor was so loud it made it hard to sleep. Perhaps other rooms don't have these problems. But the fact that mine did is an indication that maintenance is a very low priority for this hotel. Mehr

Was pretty satisfied except it was alittle cramped with 4 people when adding a roll away. Before I booked I asked if it would fit in there with the pull out couch and king bed. Had to do a lot of manuvering. For the price was quite pleased overall.

Our stay at this hotel was a very pleasant experience and allowed for relaxation with restaurant in the facility. Close-by restaurants and shopping areas were additional advantages. Hotel had an indoor pool, hot tub and Suana for our use as well.

This was a great value! The rooms were nice and clean, no problems.

Great service, great room. Everything was perfect. Would stay here over and over again.

Our room was literally freezing when we entered - we ended up cranking the heat (didn't do much good) and sleeping with sock and heavy shirts. The bathroom floor was like ice in the morning - had to throw towels on the floor just to stand on it. Breakfast was good. Price was good.

Check in went nice and smooth they where doing some work in the hotel but the place still looked really good. The pool and spa where greeat. Work out area was much better than most i have seen in a hotel. Plenty of places round to to eat.

We recently booked a room at the Holiday Inn Hurstbourne I-64 East for my daughters 9th birthday. The pool was perfect for kids! There was also an area with video games and a ping pong table. It was perfect!!
