Quality Inn & Conference Center - Akron

Our room mirrors were not very clean. Our coffee pot did not work. It was clogged and would only perk half way and then it stopped. I ordered a new one for the room and it took an hour for that little pot to finish. My parents accross the hall worked fine. Great price, great room, great breakfast, great location. Had 9 kids and 3 adults all the way from VA. Hotel staff was awesome! Will be sure to book my hotel here again on my return trip!

We were visiting a local University for 1 night and this hotel was perfect! The price was very reasonable for the convenience to food and highway. The room was very clean. The staff was very courteous. We traveled a long distance arriving after 8pm and were not hassled about the check-in time.

Right off of I77, the hotel was very easy to reach. It was easy to jump back on interstate to reach other desired locations. Their breakfast was great.

It was a great stay!! Awesome breakfast:) The tub does not have stoppers so if you have kids that take baths you have to use something like a washcloth or one of the shower caps to have it work. Other then that the stay was great. Great location.

Courteous and competent staff - pleasant stay. Decent breakfast, but the building is showing its age. No elevator meant the deskclerk had to move our room from second to first floor - which she cheerfully did. My wife had knee replacement surgery and just not up to climbing stairs at this time.

It's a decent hotel and will stay here again.

very nice, comfortable, and clean hotel.

This was a nice hotel, and the service desk staff members were pleasant. I would definitely stay here on a future, and recommend to travelers visiting the Canton-Akron, Oh area.

Overall the hotel accomodations were decent however no points for not having an elevator. Getting to the upper floor was difficult since I had to push open doors with a full set of luggages just to get to the stairs. The location of the hotel leaves much to be desired as well since it is located behind a gas station and busy highway ramp. The parking […] lot lighting was not ideal especially in the back of the hotel. As a result, it didn't feel safe to park your car or enter from the back of the hotel. At best this is a 2.5 Star location. I give it a 2. Mehr

Hotel was okay. Some glitches here and there. The elevator had soapy smell, had a hole on one side of the wall and had a empty Orange juice bottle thrown on the flooer. Rooms were okay. However, the house keeper was rather irritating. I wanted to stay for an extra 30 minutes after 12:00 PM but she said they would have to charge extra for that. Additionally, […] she would knock on the door and start opening it even before I could respond. By 12:05 PM she was already restless again and I had to leave the room even though I wanted to use the restroom before I left. Mehr

The staff at this hotel is always helpful and courteous!! They have helped me any time an issue comes up, and there is no other hotel i would stay at because of them. The exercise room is also nice because the treadmills work well, and the weight equipment is good enough.

I chose to stay here a single night and it was very nice. The only thing is if you have alot of luggage there are no stairs. However, the front desk staff was really nice and great. My room was clean and although i did not make it to breakfast. It did smell really really good as i checked out. Not a whole lot of bells or whistles which is just fine […] for me. Mehr

Receptionist wasn't the friendliest and my room was quite far from the hotel front entrance - couldn't believe that many rooms were full to put me that far away. No elevator made it frustrating with heavy bags but otherwise it was a good value. Nice having an free airport shuttle and the breakfast bar was awesome!

We had a great stay- easy access to freeway, gas stations, food, and room was nice!

a very nice hotel ,clean nice people good breakfast and free parking and clost to the highway and all around it has restaurants and very close to shopping centers like walmart and kohls . only thing iwished it had was an elevator ,but still good workout going up and down the stairs

In-room heater was SO loud and smelled like burnt hair. Smoke detector was covered in paper towel that had been molded to it, then dried that way. Horrible! The breakfast was the only amazing part of the stay. Bathroom was also clean and newly remodeled, but that was the only part of the room that was acceptable.

I would stay there again. Its not great, but its a good location and price. heardly see any other people.

I had a business show at the Chenoweth Golf Course. This Quality Inn was the closest hotel to the show. The hotel was clean. The room was clean, smelled good, and had all that I needed (refrigerator, TV, shower with good pressure and heat, and free internet service). This hotel is conveniently local along I-77, easy off and back on the next day, about 5 miles north of CAK. Surprisingly the highway noise was non existant. I checked in late, but was easy with a pleasant front desk person. Good value for the money. Hotel was fine, but quite basic. This is an older building that has been upgraded with renovations. The […] room was clean, bed comfortable. Bathroom has been fully redone, except for the 3.5 gallon flush toilet from the '70's. Internet was easy to acquire. Room included a small refridgerator and microwave, which were not used. My room was on the second floor, accessible by stairs. This may be a problem for someone who would find the stairs hard to manage with a suitcase. Breakfast was fine with hot and cold selections. Two cold cereals offered, along with hot selections of eggs and fresh made waffles. Limited yogurt and fresh fruit selections. OJ was great, coffee was weak. The breakfast attendent was pleasant and worked hard to maintain food stock and area cleanliness. Nearby are retail shopping areas and restaurants. Overall good value for the money. The Quality Inn Conference Center is a well-maintained hotel with great amenities for the price range. Good breakfast (Krispy Kreme donuts, eggs, sausage, etc). Has a pool , work-out room and game room. The inside corridors are well-maintained and the rooms have microwaves and fridges. It's off I-77 and convenient to travel to Cleveland and Akron/Canton […] sites. We stayed here for 5 days while visiting relatives and were very comfortable here. Mehr

This hotel has NO -NADA - NONE - ZERO elevators. To get to the second floor you are walking around the hotel and then up a flight of stairs. Hated it. Will not stay again. Unfortunately, none of my usual choices for hotels had openings due to events in the area. I do not at all recommend this hotel. HATED IT. Tiny bathroom.

We were on a college visit. The hotel was easy to find, close to the interstate, but not noisy. Room was clean, breakfast was decent, and very convenient. I'd stay there again.

although this is an older hotel, it provided everything we needed. A quiet location off the freeway, adjacent to restaurants, fast food and WalMart, and it was quiet, with comfy beds, good offerings for breakfast, and an outside pool for fun.

Excellent hotel, close to lots of food places if you check in late. Breakfast is very good and the staff very friendly. Asked for extra towels at 3 am and they were at the door in 10 minutes. Room very clean, beds very comfortable. Highly recommend..

Keep in mind the hotel was there is no elevator. Cleaning crew decided to run the vaccum early outside my door. Other than that, there was some type of drama going on at the front desk when I arrived, which delayed my checking in, but overall not a bad stay for the price.

This hotel was perfect for a night while passing through town. It was clean, comfortable and reasonably priced.

My husband & I stayed one night on our way back from Delaware. The room was comfortable & staff were friendly. The continental breakfast provided in the morning was tasty & filling and the woman running breakfast was very helpful. We would recommend this hotel to anyone.

This hotel is conveniently located right off of the interstate. Don't judge it by the pictures online. The rooms were recently renovated (both sleeping area and bathroom) and very comfortable. Surprisingly the hall noise was very minimal.The hotel's bones are older, but the furnishings are new. Well worth the price.

Hotel has no convenient elevator. You must drag your luggage up the steps, if staying on the 2nd floor.

The heater in the room was pretty noisy. I have stayed there many times so this was not usual. If it happens again I will be looking for another hotel.

Staff was friendly and very helpful. Hotel lobby, breakfast bar, and guest room were exceptionally clean. Bed was comfortably firm, bed linens were fine, though towels were thin and skimpy. Free wireless in the lobby worked great; wireless internet access in the room a bit inconsistent. Breakfast included, with powdered scrambled eggs, sausage, cereals, […] toast, donuts, and the like. Belgian waffle makers were in excellent condition and worked great. Staff monitored breakfast room and ensured that everything remained clean, stocked, and in excellent working condition. Mehr

Considering the location to all the malls and restaurants in the area, I thought it would be a little run down and noisy. Not the case!! Was up-to-date and quiet inside. Continental breakfast was top-notch. Loved the waffles and the hostess was very freindly. Would recommend this Quality Inn in a minute and look forward to staying again.
