Holiday Inn Opryland Airport - Nashville - Nashville

I met some friends for a girls weekend in April.. Had the best time!!! The hotel was not too far out from any of the sites that we wanted to go to. Dowtown and the bars not far at all. The food was excellent! Loved the Shrimp salad. Fresh ingredients! Service was amazing as well. A great value! Would stay here again for sure!

I appreciated the security in the hallway but it also may me a little concerned about why security is needed to sit in the hallway all night. There was loud music downstairs in the lobby for a few hours one one night when I was trying to sleep but otherwise pretty quiet Still, this was a pretty good stay. Over all stay was great. Very family friendly, staff was wonderful, beds were comfortable and the motel was very clean. Only complaints, ac was noisy and sink in bathroom drained very, very slow. Otherwise all was great! Will definitely stay again if in the area.

This hotel was old, run down, and dirty.

Could not get cart to take suitcases out and bikers were there a d allowed to stand in the doorway and the driveup smoking and blocking the area so no one could drive and out or walk in and out without inhaling smoke

A suitable older hotel with nice amenities. We were a bit disappointed with the loud noise coming from the air condition every time it would kick on and the curtains in the room were pretty dirty but over all we were happy with our stay. The price was right and the location was good. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would come back for another […] stay. Mehr

No problems. Nice facility, but nothing really special.

The Hotel was located so you could go in any direction to tour, etc. Food was good and the workers were great.

This place was fairly close to everything in Nashville, really caters to airport travelers more than anything else. The Restaurant was cheap but the food was bland and unappealing, compared to other similarly ranked hotels.

Very friendly staff. Room was clean and had everything we needed. We stayed in the executive suite so, I'm not sure about the standard rooms but I would stay again. Also loved the bar by the pool. 1st hotel I stayed in that they allow you to take drinks into the pool area!!! :)

Overall, this hotel was perfect for our stay, our 5 year old loved it especially the indoor pool. Room was clean and comfortable, Breakfast buffet was good, with a great omlet station, was well worth the price. I would reccomend this hotel to others and would stay in it again.

the hotel is rather old, and on a location that doesnt offer many restaurants or stores. the employees were very curtious, and hospitable.

This hotel was great for a quick stay in Nashville. Had an early flight to catch and it was only 1 mile away from the airport. They could possibly upgrade the TVs in the room, but it was no big deal. The staff was nice and I enjoyed myself!!

Our stay at the Holiday Inn was fantastic; the hotel ammenities such as the indoor pool were great it provided entertainment for our children and group while offering a seating area for the aults to sit and socialize while supervising them. The restaraunt was not only delicious it provided free meals for the kids under 12. The staff was super helpfull […] and professional. We will definately be returning to this hotel for future events in Nashville. Mehr

Went to Nashville for the Music city bowl.. the hotels downtown were too expensive and this one was in the price range but a $20 cab ride from LP Field.. Overall the hotel was nice and clean.. I think its meant for Opryland or Airport visitors as for the location..

We had a great stay. Everyone was so nice and friendly. Great pool too! My kids had a ball!!!!

This is the second time I've stayed at this hotel because you can't beat the location. The friendly staff gladly recommends places to go and prints out maps to help you get there. It is super easy to get downtown, to LP field, the Opryland and mall area, and the airport from this hotel. The hotel is starting to show it's age (the tv is still a large, […] tube style with the bubbled screen), but the pool and lounge make up for it. Will definately stay here again if in the area. Mehr

I compared, booked and paid for my room using my phone app. I was handed my key upon arrival and was treated as though I was their most important guest. Everything was quick, ready, easy, and enjoyable. I chose the Holiday Express. That place rocks! I recommend the grilled salmon for dinner and the breakfast buffet is awesome! Stayed in this hotel because the one we liked was booked. This room had very little to offer at the price that we paid incomparison to the hotel that we usually use. It also had an odor. Don't think that I will stay again. Staff on check in was not very friendly and I saw very little staff on hand.

Very good hotel. I would recommend anyone and familys to stay. Nice band in the lounge. Good Drinks not to pricey.

The hotel is very nice, and the pool, sauna, exersize room a big plus. No complimentary breakfast, however.

Nice hotel, needs a little updating. COMFY beds!!!

The staff was friendly, I requested & received a handicap room, all appliances worked in our room. It was a delight to stay here!

Good service....Clean rooms....Nice lobby area with indoor pool, sauna, exercise room, restaurant, live music lounge and tiki bar. Unless its free the Breakfast is overpriced....Pancakes $12....Lounge drink prices were fair....Better to eat at Waffle House down the street..... We are used to better in Chicago but would book again here on return

The fitness room was good with treadmill, elliptical and weights. The sauna, pool and hot tub were also nice. The bonus was the food at the bar and restaurant which were really good. So overall I was happy with the hotel. The only thing I thought they could improve on is their coffee.

Pool in lobby causes discomfort in terms of chlorine/bromine smell and heat in common areas. Staff wouldn't add rollaway to room, stating it was a fire hazard when there was plenty of room out of walkway.

Front desk staff was super friendly and informative. A large group of students and a large group of seniors had just arrived and everything went smoothly for all of us. There were, however, very small not-realy-problems in the room itself like small carpet stains and a slightly torn shower curtain. Check in - good; room - good; breakfast - bad. None of the items on the "hot" table were hot. Cold scrambled eggs are not very tasty. I would have gotten a made to order omlett, but I was in a hurry and the wait would have been too long. Of course the wait for my "server" to bring a check was even longer. As a toerist just arriving in town the staff helped me with locations to where I wanted to go, book tickets etc. Good gym. Would have been perfect if breakfast would have been included.

There was too many ppl staying here to enjoy the hotel.. It was loud and full of men( older ball team) so I didn't feel comfortable enough to come use the pool with them all hanging out in the bar area witch is located right beside the bar... Pool and hot tub are in a weird area.. Then we had a $20 ticket for breakfast and didn't even attempt eating […] there b/c of all of the guys.... One other thing was at 8am the housekeeping woke me and my husband up with slamming doors all morning.. I told the desk when we checked out... I know next time coming into town we won't be staying here! but in all fairness they couldn't help about the ''guys'' that were staying there.. so overall hotel with the location... I chose this hotel because I had lots of work to do, and didn't want to go out to eat. I found a room service menu, and it was stuck to the bottom of the night stand drawer. When I "unstuck" it, there was only a breakfast room service menu. No problem, I'm easy to please, so I calld room service. It rang and rang, no answer, and no answering machine […] kicked in. No problem, I'm easy to please, so I called the operator. It rang and rang and rang, no answer. Again, no problem, as I'm easy to please. I jumped online, pulled up dominos, and ordered a pizza. My phone rang 25 minutes later, it was the front desk asking if I had ordered a pizza, which of course, I had. They told me I would have to come to the lobby and pick it up. That was the straw that broke the camel's back. I was not exactly dressed for public viewing, so I had to put suitable clothes on to go pick up my pizza. The desk told me it was for my safety that they wouldn't let the pizza guy go to the room. I stay in hotels all over the country, and I have never, ever had an issue. In fact, the holiday inn express 5 miles away, didn't have the same policy. There were plenty of hotels in the area for less money, but I chose this one because of the "full" service I needed. The heat in room didn't work they tried to fix it but did stay working. Same with computer room, not working.

Although I consider this hotel a fairly nice, comfortable stay, it could still use an update to make it "great" instead of "fairly nice." Remodeling/Renovation would make this hotel so much better.

No way would I recommend anyone to this unfriendly,inconsiderate and poorly maintained dump!! Our air did not work in our room and no one attempted to fix it, Had front desk call for us a cab and while we were getting into it the front desk guy gave it to someone us making us late for our engagement!! I will never stay with them again!! Also the rooms […] are not cleaned well at all!! Mehr

The service was terrible. Our rooms were not cleaned and there were not enough workers at the restaurant. We had to wait to get tables because no one was there to clean them off. We had to get up and find our own silverware, water, ketchup, etc.
