Caribbean Cove Hotel & Water Park - Indianapolis

Air was not working in room.Had to change rooms.Not a huge deal, it happens.I am supprised that I stay mid-week and they don't give me a pool side room.There are plenty available? The staff is great!

Hotel is average... Definitely needs repairs. All the ice machines on each floor were broken. When we got in our room, there was fresh urine all over the toilet seat. Beds were clean and comfortable. Water park is great and u can tell that most of the money goes to water park that they have neglected updating rooms and rest of hotel. Staff was courteous […] and let us in our room 1/2 hour early. Pool and hot tub closed at 10 which we didn't like. Got home from dinner at 10 and wanted to sit in hot tub but it was closed. No lifeguard is ever on duty and its swim at your own risk so why did they have to close so early. No kids were even at the pool, just us old farts wanted to use hot tub for 20 min after our late dinner. We will go back again.... Good price, nice service. Mehr

This was the 5th time we had stayed in this hotel and each year you could tell it was getting a little worst, but it hit rock bottom this year. When we arrived around 5:30 pm I was told that the 2 rooms with 2 beds that I had booked and paid for on Hotels.com where no longer available. I would have to take the 2 rooms with 1 king in each. Since it was […] 4 guys, we each wanted our own bed. The hotel blammed the problem on Hotels.com. We made an attept to move to another hotel, but since it was Indy 500 weekend, no other hotels were available. So we elected to stay in the hotel and use roll a way in each room. It took over 3 hours before the roll a ways finally showed up. I had to go back to the front desk twice and call at least 4 times before they got us the roll a ways. On top of that, the hotel is run down and very noisy. Bottom line is, I don't think it is asking too much to get the rooms that I have already paid for and not be given something else. So Beware of this hotel. Find another one. Mehr

What a mess! We will never stay there again!!! The hallways had fans blowing on peeling wallpaper with black mold showing. It smelled musty and dirty in the hallways and in the rooms. The air conditioning wasn't blowing cool air and the top of the ceiling looked like someone had chipped huge pieces out of it. The hotel is dirty, and wallpaper is falling […] down everywhere. Another great stay.Staff is so friendly.Remodeling going on, but that happens. Would have liked pool side room as it was mid week and hotel was pretty empty.Also lounge was closed and had to go elsewhere to eat.Will be back:-)

I ended up in 3 different rooms including being told to move at 11 PM without help. I am handicapped and I was told that I needed to move myself and there was no one to help me and was told "too bad - move yourself" Totally unacceptable.

The staff was really nice and helpful. We enjoyed our stay there. The hotel had a lot to offer ie, water park, bar, and several restaurants that we enjoyed!

The wall paper was coming down, the bedding was stained, and the ice makers on several floors did not work. The staff had to call a supervisor to find out if the bedding was down (son's allergic). I never received the crib I called down & requested.

Got a good deal on the room, but thought the breakfast buffet was overpriced for what you get. Hotel pool was nice and warm, fun atmosphere, so skipped the waterpark aspect. Beware of the entire hotel smelling of chlorine, but you get use to it after a while. Had a room next to an elevator, and was impressed that we didn't hear a thing.

The air conditioner was broke in our room so on 2nd nite we were able to open room next to ours to let cool air in. Desk receptionist on Friday had no personality and when we asked for help scheduling a taxi, he indicated we were on our own. Breakfast team was okay. Checkout was okay.

Even tho I was traveling alone, I could see that children (especially younger children) really enjoyed the pool and water slide area. Hotel is definitely geared towards young families. The location is great! The room was clean. This is very important to me. The bathroom was clean,shower/tub was clean and water was nice and hot! What I did not like is the bed. It was CLEAN but stiff like a futon mattress. They can definitely work on purchasing pillowtop for all of the rooms. The pillows were soft though. I would probably stay again […] if I had to. I did not like how the incidental fee stays on your credit card up to 3days until they remove it. I did not like this,if I check out the next day everything needs to be removed when I leave. Mehr

Worst service I've ever seen and experienced! That hotel had a dark feeling to it because of how awful the service was. Rooms need to be updated, along with the staff. I will never be coming back to this hotel again! Don't waste your money!

Upon arrival I found that on the hotel.com site it says breakfast included but at the hotel they said it's not so we didnt get any breakfast the following morning. At check in they asked for a credit card on file. I gave them my card and a few hours later seen a $25 charge on the card. When I asked they said it was a "damage deposit". They should have […] specified that when I gave the card, and I should have been told they we're charging it that moment. The beds were awful and it was dirty around the head board area. pretty nice hotel. definitely hv to be prepared for kids running around and noise from them talking loux and running the hall. great for family and birthdays, not as much for romantic getaway or quiet escape.

I would not stay again. The hotel obviously have financial troubles. Staffing was interesting. Based on the price/night I would have expected a very different experience. Computers were down most of the time, which caused significant check-in and check-out problems. Our windows in our room were sealed with duck tape. Like most everyone, my daughters and I came to this place because of the waterpark. The hotel though needs a significant upgrade to the rooms and their service is not up to par with many other hotels. There were three of us and we had only 2 towels. We asked for a late check out and they wouldn't provide this to us. There was no amenities within the […] room either like a microwave, refrigerator, etc. The waterpark was okay but we've been to better ones. The rate to stay there was also a bit high. Next time we will visit French Lick which is about the same distance for us from Bloomington. Not sure if we will stay there again. definately not what we expected. Hotel staff was not all that great. Room was super small, no fridge, no microwave hardly any channels on the cable. hallways had a funky smell. My family had fun in water park but it was a little grubby and staff not friendly. First night there was a wedding party and fraternity party with young adults running halls, using foul language, fighting and eventually passing out in halls. This was very disturbing with several children in my party. Definitely not worth cost!

Went on a Sunday night for a spring break getaway with my 7 year old. I had read all the reviews and they were correct. Hotel is understaffed, SLLLLLLOW (2 hours) check in and not until 4 pm. Guests checked into occupied rooms. Water park was ok but the slides were real back scratchers. Hot breakfast was very good.

Our stay started off ok. We had arrived earlier than the "scheduled check-in time." They were able to give us a room. We were able to use the room to change in to go to the water park. However, while we were at the Water Park, they them give our room to someone else. That person/family had access to our room and our personal belongings. Luckily my husband […] had gone back to get the camera to take pictures of the kids. He could not use the key. He tried several times, before going to the front desk where he found out that this is what had happened. (He found this out because the guy infront of him had said the "Room number." That guy said that he had went to "his room" to find that their was luggage already in the room. Neither that family nor my husband were happy about the situation. The Water Park also has some problems. It has not been "keeped up." There are a lack of seats for adults. There is also a lack of pool towels. You are lucky if you can get one at all. The buffet was ok. However, the service was lacking. We had to go get someone to get served drinks. This is usually taken care of when people are first seated. Mehr

Bathroom ceiling had large spot on ceiling that looked like a giant pimple had been popped on it (small yellowish chunks with a single red dot). Room had no info binder (restaurants, hours of pool, local hotspots, emergency info). The communal hot tub (by the pool) was on the fritz. The restart timer was working randomly. I wouldn't call it a 2 star hotel because it's designed better than that and hasn't slipped enough yet to drop a star. Check in was a disaster! It took well over one hour. Not nearly enough maids to turn rooms over in a reasonable amount of time. No towels at the pool etc, etc, etc.

From the outside and from the lobby, the hotel looks exquisite! You could tell at one time it was a great place to stay, but apparently the change in name means a change in service as well. We had many issues with this hotel! The bed was unbelievable uncomfortable. The entire hotel ran out of towels the 2nd night we were there...there were no pool towels […] and no room towels to be found anywhere. We called twice before we went to bed and again in the morning and never received any more towels (we were told everyone was out). We had to dry off with a washcloth and a hand towel (there were 4 of us!) We were away from our room for a good part of the day on Saturday (left at 9:45 and returned at 2pm) and our room was not cleaned in the time we were gone. The hot tub clearly stated in more than one location that it was for adults only...the 2 times we ventured to the pool, there were no less than 20 kids in the hot tub (and we saw hotel management walk by a few times). For being a hotel that caters to families (with the water park, pool, etc.) we didn't feel like they kept an eye on things very well. I thought we would return when our girls were older to visit the waterpark, not likely. Mehr
