I needed late check out.They made me offer to charge $89 more to include breakfast, internet and late check out till 8:00 pm. Some misunderstanding about whether breakfast was included in the rate. Although our confirmation clearly stated so, we were kept waiting around for 10 mins+ while various people 'validated' this. We had booked an executive room, but this is certainly not what we were provided with. Other thah that, the hotel is fine in al respects other than the breakfast […] restaurant, which has great difficulty coping with busy mornings...we waited otside for 25 mins as no seats were available. this hotel is very nice but then that is reflected in the price I think. Although Singapore seemed generally a bit expensive to us. Located on Orchard Road it is ideal for those with the money for the many malls and stores but not so good for tourists on a budget. We paid 30 $ for a beers close to our hotel (we could have easily paid more) and found […] them for 17$ in the hawker stalls in chinatown where the food was actually very good, recommend maxwell hawker stall.If we were to go again I would probably look for somewhere cheaper as we spent so little time in the room wanting to see the sights. Nice hotel, within walking distance to the Somerset MRT. We got a room which looked like it was recently renovated. We stayed for 3 nights at the hotel. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The buffet breakfast (included in the tariff) could have been better. There was not much choice and we had to eat the same stuff on all 3 days. strategically located. just few minutes walk to the famous shopping heaven- orchard road. Checking in took a little longer time. However, it was a very pleasant stay and everything was satisfactory. Oh, like it a lot that it does provide variety of pillows to choose from.

Very nice hotel, the surrounding view is superb not to mention the shopping malls are within walking distance. I found that the hotel employee at the check-in counter wasnt very nice, she hardly gives any smiles to our group. But over all the service there was superb.

I enjoy the stay at the hotel but I were mislead by the photos that the hotel display on the webpage. I thought I booked for a king suite as the picture stated but it is only just a normal king executive room. Quite abit disappointed. Overall the hotel stay is good, like the room and the breakfast.

The staff over reception did not look very friendly when I was checking in. After the concierge person loaded our luggage to our room. He stood there & did not want to leave. My family and I stayed at this hotel for 3 days. Only minutes walk away from Sommerset LRT station, and Orchard Road shopping centres. Room was very clean. Very quiet, even thought our room was facing the highway. Only slight glitch was to access the internet, pricing was quite steep. But all in all, great hotel. Would definitely come back.

Our experience with Holiday Inn has been very pleasing from the moment of checking in to checking out. The staff were courteous and the hotel room clean and tidy. The double bed setting in particular is a very good facility that suited us very well. Will certainly go back and stay in this hotel

This hotel was very central to the shopping area and whilst the building and fixtures were a little tired it was clean. The service compensates for this though and for me the hotel represented good value for money.

Great location just off orchard road with a fantastic strip of restaurants between. Modern, clean rooms, and great value for money compared to most other hotels in the area. Would definitely stay again!

The holiday inn orchard city centre was a great choice for our family of 2 adults and a 2 year old. The staff were very friendly and very helpful with all requests and the location is excellent. A few taxi drivers we used were more familiar with it's old name "Holiday Inn Parkview" although mentioning Cavenaugh road did the trick. The room was great, close to Orchard Rd, also good walking distance to MRT. Breakfast area was too small but good selection of different food. The only more negative was Internet was not free!

Great hotel in a great spot if you are shopping mad. Orchard Road shopping malls are all within walking distance. Close enough to the metro to get to other locations in the city. For this hotel I wouldnt recommend using the metro to get to and from the airport if you have luggage. Plenty of places to eat adn drink nearby if you dont want to pay hotel […] price. we used food republic in one of the malls and it offered a great range of food and drink at reasonable prices. Mehr

Our room for a family of four had two queen beds. It was clean and held lots of little extras. (bathroom needs etc). The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was beautiful. The pool on the eigth floor was great for relaxing. There were a lot of business guests in the hotel and not so many families.

Although our stay was short , it was most enjoyable.I would certainly recommend it for convenience and the friendly staff. We had no complaints at all

Having spent three weeks in a range of luxury 5 star hotels in Thailand before arriving in Singapore, my expectations of the holiday Inn were not high. I must say how wrong I was to be hesitant. We stayed only one night here but used all the facilities the pool was superb on the rooftop,the breakfast was plenty and sumptuous,staff was very friendly and courteous.it was also within stone's throw from the malls and restaurants!overall a great place to stay inspite being a little expensive!!! It is very difficult to find a hotel in Singapore which could accomodate three adults without being charged a fortune for the third person. Finally, I found this hotel which guaranteed two double beds. It fit the three of us comfortably. The exterior of the hotel didn't look as attractive as all the other new hotels in Singapore if not outdated but […] they must have renovated the interior of the rooms. Housekeeping has done a great job, too! Lovely lady and very attentive to our needs without us saying much. The concierge wasn't very helpful and seemed very indifferent most of the time, however. This is a very good hotel and I would highly recommend it to both leisure and business travelers alike. Superb location, just off Orchard Road but away from the hustle bustle. What a refreshing nights stopover from London to Brisbane. The staff, and service offered were first class and cannot be faulted. We had a late check out (this was overun by not waking up with having such luxury) only to be greeted with a courteous smile from the reception staff. Thankyou Holiday Inn

We booked this hotel based on hotel.com reviews. Because the price was relatively low I was quite wary on arrival but we were blown away by the exceptional service and friendlyness of the staff. The hotel lobby is a little 1980's but immaculate. However the rooms were all fully modernised and fantastic. Exceptionally clean, comfortable, modern and a […] very high standard. The pool area was amazing too and a real hit with the kids. We were offered a family breakfast deal and found the breakfast to also be of a very high standard. This hotel is also 2 mins from orchard rd so a brilliant location. Our daughter was sick whilst here and the staff were extremely helpful. We stayed in the hyatt last year and I have to be honest and say we prefered the holiday inn. Great value for money and we highly recommend it. Mehr

If you booked the family room and it says 2 double beds is actually 2 super twin beds. Don't expect the beds to be queen size. Was a bit small if you stay with 2 adults and 2 kids. Another thing, we are not satisfied with the housekeeping. They tend to cleaned our room in the late evening. When we go back to the room about 4 or 5pm, we found our room […] was still messy. They should have clean the room in the afternoon. Is nice to go back and find the room cleaned to rest in the evening after long day of shopping, instead we have to see all messy room and wait for the housekepping to do their job. My friend's who stayed at same hotel was even worst, the housekeeping only cleaned their room at night. Imagine when you are staying with children. Great Hotel, comfortable, clean & nice decor. Great location, 2 blocks from MRT, opposite supermarket & shops & resurants. Only issue I had was we requested a NON SMoking room & I could smell smoke every time I walked into the room. Great BIG LCD & DVD, great pool for little children & bigger pool & spa. Beds & pillows comfortable

We are a family of four and stayed in a family room. We have two teenage children. The room had two queen size beds, and was very well priced and roomy . Very good location to Orchard Road, about 500 metre walk through a street of restaurants. Hotel was immaculate. Only complaint - room cleaning didn't happen before 5pm - most days we had to ring housekeeping […] to get the room cleaned. I would still recommend this hotel and if we return to Singapore, will stay there again Mehr

IN THE HEART OF THE SHOPPING AREA AND MADE EASY TO ACCESS PUBLIC TRANSPORT ON ORCHARD RD WHICH WAS ONLY 100 YARDS AWAY THANKS....

The hotel was comfy, with all staff being polite and helpful. The only down side was that the air conditioning unit in our room dripped a tiny bit which was annoying when trying to sleep. We were also unable to find the instructions about the TV and hotel so had to ask staff about various items within the hotel. e.g. swimming pool opening times. It […] was located a minute away from the main shopping area of Singapore and a mtr station. To get to the shopping area you just walk down a street full of various restaurants that meets everyones tastes (perfect for going out at night). Also, there was some nice singing and piano playing in the lobby/bar area during the evening. Unfortunately, I did not get the opportunity to try the food or use the pool, so am unable to give feedback on this. In summary, we would recommend this hotel to others. Mehr

This hotel is located very near to Orchard Road and somerset MRT station. The staff were all polite and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. Didn't use the executive lounge so can't comment on it. Our stay in this hotel was wonderful.

Close to shopping and subway system. Clean rooms and great service.

Very friendly, helpful staff. Clean facilities, pool fantastic - and opened to 2300. Close to subway, Shops, cafes, resturants, bars, all walking distance. Taxi's always outside hotel waiting. Hotel resturant lovely, with great choices.
