Holiday Inn Key Largo - Key Largo

Das Hotel ist super an der Hauptstraße gelegen und trotzdem ruhig. Zum kleinen Strand sind es 5 Minuten zu Fuß, zum offiziellen Strand ca. 10 Minuten mit dem Auto. Die Poollandschaft (2 Pools) einer davon mit Wasserfall ist sehr schön angelegt und es gibt eine Poolbar mit Happy-Hour. 2 Internet-Terminals sind ebenfalls vorhanden und kostenlos nutzbar. Leider […] ist das Frühstück nicht inclusiv, kann aber als Bufett zugebucht werden (ca. 10 Dollar). Schade ist, dass man den O-Saft dann noch zusätzlich bezahlen muss. Aber das Bufett im allgemeinen war gut. Ein Einkaufsmarkt und andere Läden sind unmittelbarer nebenan. Auch Restaurants (zu empfehlen ist das "Bayside Grill", direkt an der Golfküste -5 Minuten zu Fuß- mit super Sonnenuntergang und gutem Essen) und Ausflugsschiffe (auch Jetski etc.) kann man direkt neben dem Hotel buchen. Wir haben das Hotel für eine Nacht gebucht, als Zwischenstopp als wir von Key West her kamen. Die Poolanlage ist sehr schön. Die Zimmer sind unterschiedlich. Wir hatten eines zum Pool hin in der unteren Etage. Das war sehr nett. Die Zimmer waren Sauber. Kein Safe. Die Ausstatung und das Möbilär ist eher old-fashend. Key Largo selbst ist für Sportfischer […] oder Taucher bestimmt ganz toll. Es gibt keinen so richtigen Stadtkern (oder wir haben ihn nicht gefunden). Längere Aufenthalte würde ich in Key Largo nicht planen. Mehr

Key Largo ist in manchen Reiseführern schlecht angesehen, uns hat es da gut gefallen. Auch das Holiday Inn liegt sehr zentral, schöner Pool, nette Gäste, gutes Zimmer, nettes Restaurant hinter dem Hotel und die "African Queen" als Schiff vor dem Hotel

Good stopping over point on route to key west. This hotel was like an up market motel.

My 12-year old granddaughter and I stayed at the hotel for two nights and we loved it. Our room was very comfortable, the staff great, and the food in the Bogey Cafe was outstanding. We loved the beautiful pool area - two pools, a tiki bar, and a big spa. It was so pretty at night with lights on the waterfall in one of the pools and throughout the tropical […] vegetation.The hotel is on a marina and we were excited to see that the African Queen boat (from the movie) is there, getting a make-over for her 100th anniversary. I understand its a tourist spot. I understand it's a Holiday Inn. But there is no reason for staff to treat their guests with an attitude. We live in Ft. Lauderdale and frequent the Keys. We won't be back to this place again.

This hotel is basically good - clean rooms, nice pools, with a basic restaurant. Staff could learn how to smile though - very brisk.

We had the most relaxing weekend at the Holiday Inn Key Largo. The people were so friendly and the grounds were just beautiful. It was like a tropical paradise. I can't wait to go again to recharge. The food was also so delicious. I think this hotel should earn 5 stars EASY!!

The hotel was very clean and comfortably . Had a great time in n out of room.

We stayed overnight in Key Largo and booked a room at the Holiday In at the last minute. We were immediately pleased with the property and location. Nice restaurant, pool and tiki bar! Very nice hotel, with 2 small pools and one bubble pool. Nice prices and location is perfect, 1 hour to Key West and 1 hour to Miami...

Typical Holiday Inn room at a very expensive price PLUS breakfast was an additional expense. Unfortunately not a lot of motels in this town hence little or no options. I give it 3 stars and being generous with this rating.

Flat screen TVs ub Tiki Hut were stolen nd replced with older nd less quality TVs .

There was only 1 staff person to check and handle the whole place and she was so incompetant. I waited in line 3 different times at the check in so she could get us a room. Only to be told none were clean. We booked 2 rooms 3 months before arrival.THE AVERAGE WAIT TIME ONCE YOU WERE AT THE FRONT OF THE LINE WAS 25 MIN. Overall wait time was 45 minutes […] in line(THE THIRD TIME). Everyone in line were very upset and GRUMPY. One man tried to cut in and was told in no uncertain terms that he had better remove himself to the end of the line or else. Thought a fight was going to break out. We had just driven 6 straight hours and had 4 kids with us. Waiting 2 plus hours in the lobby was stressful to say the least. Got there at 2:30 AND GOT A ROOM AT 5;00 We left at 7;00am the next day. Our few hours there were not worth the stress. Would not recommend it. Mehr

This hotel is in a perfect location for fishing, cruises etc. A trip on the glass bottom boat cannot be missed. Only negative point was the breakfast/staff,

problem with the fire alarms in the middle of the night and suger ants in the bathroom.

Nicest hotel in Key Largo...

Enjoyed the hotel..nice staff, rooms clean....nice pool with tiki bar. Good location by wharf, can walk to restaurants and dive boats.

Functional stop over on way to Key West. Didn't really explore the surrounding area or the facilities of the hotel as it was pouring with rain the whole time we were there!

A well located hotel, close to several restaurants and adjacent to several of the moorings for snorkel/dive boats that leave for Pennekamp park.

Clean room, good breakfast, confortable bed, courteous staff, but salt water in the swimming pool was kind of strange, I guess it is good for the scuba diving lessons that some guests were taking in the morning. Lovely comfortable hotel to break up journey to Key West. Excellent buffet breakfast at extra cost. Close to many places offering dolphin swims.

The Holiday Inn is convenient to the dive shop that my husband uses, and is convenient to the restaurants that we like in Key Largo. Our room was fine, although the bathroom was a little dated and quite small. The sleeping area was clean and roomy enough, including a fridge and a couch. The exterior maintenance needed some work. This property's biggest draw is its TWO swimming pools and awesome pool side bar.

Haven't stayed any other place in Key Largo, and don't think I ever would. Great location.

Great location and close to dive trips, food, etc. Rooms were great and comfy. Bathrooms clean, but could have used more towel racks around sink area. I would definitely go there again.

Staff was easy going and prompt, room was clean and comfortable, location was ideal...close to everything, would recommend to anyone!

So glad that the hotel is as presented online. Very happy with accomidations. Used as a base for snorkeling activities. Great Location. Very clean and received a ground floor room as requested. Was able to get late check out that helped us. Friendly staff. Our kind of place! Thanks a Bunch!

This is a nice hotel in Key Largo where we stopped en route to Key West. All of the facilities were good and there are some vety nice restaurants within walking distance. The customer service was very good; they gave us lots of quality information for our trip and, when I left an item of clothing in my room, they sent it on to me via UPS a week lat […] er! Mehr

We had a wonderful time. The cleanliness of the hotel will bring us back. Everyone works hard at keeping the surroundings nice and clean. The relaxing atmosphere is awesome. If you are looking for a GOOD place to stay, don't hesitate on The Holiday Inn in Key Largo, Fl.

The hotel is clean and comfortable with friendly staff at reception and at poolside bar. Convenient to boat trips which leave from right alongside. Key Largo itself is a bit of a sprawl with no definite town centre so unless you want to swim with the dolphins or go on a boat trip or visit the park keep on rollin'. We had a 2 night stay and were pleasantly surprised by the large clean rooms and proximity to our activities. My daughter forgot a favorite pillow so we returned with little hope of rescueing it. The staff was great and tracked it down after our room was already cleaned. The extra effort has won us over as return customers.

A great place to stay on the way to Key West. I have stayed there many times and I have always been satisfied.
