The desk and shuttle staff were very helpful. I would stay here again.

Staff are appalling otherwise the hotel was ok.

It is a nice place to stay for a great rate. Have access to good restaurants. I would stay there again.

Ghastly small room, no closet, just the wardrobe - which juts into the room and barley any room between bed and wardrobe & chest. The so-called "business center" is a stand-up kiosk-like thing right in the lobby, in the walkway to the elevator

Most of the hotels in the area offer airport shuttles starting around 5 or 6 am, The Hampton Inn had a 24hr shuttle which would even take you anywhere you wanted to go at any time within 3miles, not just to the airport to catch your flight! Definately would stay here again, friendly staff, clean comfy rooms, a very nice experience!

Loved this hotel, and will only stay at Hampton Inns from here on out. I'm a germaphobe, and this place was spotless. They go out of their way to tell people that they wash every part of the bedding between guests. I love that they had coffee and tea out all night, and the staff took care of my 75-yr-old mom after I had to leave her alone for one night. […] Breakfast was great too. Mehr

Nice clean room within a business district within a mile or so from the airport. Great breakfast buffet! Good service. My only complaint was that one of the three pieces of exercise equipment in the fitness room was out of order. Other than that, a very nice stay.

The hotel was easy to get to and super close to the airport. Staff was fast and efficient. Hotel was very clean and attractive. Bed was perfect, room was quiet.

While our hotel room showed some signs of aging, it was very clean. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and they were great about giving us a shuttle ride out to the International Plaza and back and then the next morning giving us a very early (5:45 a.m.) shuttle ride out to the our flight. I am going to have to say, I am highly disappointed in this hotel. The Hampton Inn add attracted me because it was an amazing price and it claimed to have a fridge, microwave, high-speed wifi, and a coffee pot in each room as well as a hot breakfast buffet. I drove 5 hours to Tampa from Boca Raton on business to purchase merchandise from my suppliers. […] I work with highly sensitive and expensive oils that needed to be refrigerated before the long haul back to Boca; and there was no fridge in the room. Since I was spending so much money on merchandise I didn’t want to afford the luxuries on the trip so I packed a cooler with food to be able to make dinner for myself; and there was no micro-wave in the room. I had a ton of work to do in the evening and wished to do it in my room; the wifi access was unsteady and I kept loosing connection. I am a very busy business woman and drink a lot of coffee, DD French Vanilla Coffee to be exact and wanted to make my own coffee to fill my thermos for the trip back home; there was a hot water heater in the room not a coffee pot. Even before I booked this hotel on hotels.com I called Hampton Inn directly. I was told that all the amenities on Hotels.com were correct; I even asked if they served bacon with their hot breakfast and was told yes. And I am sure you could guess it… and there was no bacon. I don’t want to sound petty with these things I just expect to get what I pay for and to be given proper information. I am disappointed that Hotels.com posted this hotel with all these errors, I am going to have to think long and hard before I use hotels.com. To end on a positive note the hotel was clean. Mehr

appreciated the quiet room and a great breakfast offering. Location to most anything you could want. Costs of room reasonable..in fact, changed from our usual place due to unreasonable rates and charges for parking...not here. got more for less and quality too...thanks for all your efforts , we will bring our business back. We had requested a "non-smoking" room, and got a "smoking" room; you can always tell when they fill the room with air freshener; it really smells bad...to try and hide the smokeing smell. When asked, they said that was the only room they had, an we just needed to put up with it!!

Staff was friendly, bed was comfortable, and room was clean and fresh! Quiet with no noise from a highway or the airport... Short drive to airport!!

Very satisfied with hotel and front desk clerks. Had a little trouble finding it but worth the effort. Great breakfast! Would recommend.

This Hampton Inn was amazing. It was incredibly clean and fresh. The pool was nice and the staff was super-friendly. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and consisted of waffles, lots of danishes, bagels, scrambled eggs with cheese, sausage, potatoes, cereal, yogurt, etc, etc. It was an amazing breakfast and everything about the stay was perfect. […] I LOVE how clean and well-maintained this hotel was. We will definitely be staying there again anytime we need a hotel in the Tampa area. It was only minutes away from the airport and 20 minutes from Clearwater. Wonderful hotel that I HIGHLY recommend. We usually stay at Hampton Inns when we travel & we chose this one as it had the cruise port option. They took us to meet our cruise & let us keep our car parked in their lot while we were on the cruise.

Yes, the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The beds are soft and the bathroom towels are lush. But the best thing about this hotel is the staff. We were especially pleased with the lady from Australia (Anna?) who worked the complimentary breakfast area each morning. She helped the children with a smile, milled about the dining area asking guests if […] they wanted anything else, and always had a big smile on her face. That was an infectious way to start each day in Tampa! Plus, the breakfast was really robust: eggs, sausage or Canadian bacon, potatoes, fresh Belgian waffles, fresh fruit, lots of pastries, cereals, and drinks, and hot oatmeal with several fixings. My wife has assured me that if we return to Tampa we are staying here again! Mehr

First time I have ever had the shuttle ready before I needed it. Airport shuttle also goes to other locations if needed. I was told it was on demand but give them 10 minutes. When I went to leave it pulled around instantly and had me promptly at the airport. Room was standard Hampton Inn.

I was somewhat disappointed with my recent stay. I had made reservations for 4 of us in 2 rooms. While the rooms were fine, I felt the service we received was not as good as I had anticipated. We had arrived at Tampa airport for a one day stay. We called the hotel and requested the shuttle pick us up. The shuttle was prompt and the driver very friendly, […] giving us a lot of information regarding the hotel. Since we were going on a cruise the next day, we asked the hotel desk if it were possible to get the shuttle to take us to the cruise port. She said it was only available for guests who chose the Park and Play option and offered no other suggestions or assistance. Later, as we decided to go to dinner, the shuttle took us to a nearby shopping mall and requested we call the hotel to have the shuttle return to pick us up. Well, the shuttle never showed up at all. We called the hotel three times and each time they said the shuttle was on its way. After waiting an hour we gave up and hired a cab. The next morning we had the same cab company take us to the cruise port. Not the greatest service. Mehr

liked the convenience of getting a ride from shuttle rather than driving myself to airport and the whole rent a car thing. breakfast was nice.the only thing missing would be a small restaurant and maybe a place to have a cocktail,but overall would probably stay again. the staff were wonderful.

Minutes from Tampa International Airport, extremely curtious and friendly staff, clean and comfortable room, and close to 2 major malls for a diverse choice in restaurants and shopping. Great for an over night stay between flights or to catch a early flight. will stay there again.

Lobby renovations are underway so it was very dusty downstairs. The lobby received new floors and new granite while I was there. The rooms were nice though.

hotel quite a bit dated, although convenient to the airpoort. The bath a bit small, they ran out of food for the inclusive breakfast, even coffee pots were empty later in the day. No one seemed to be keeping up with the flow. The take out service was excellent and the food delicious

The accommodations are nice, shuttle service from the airport timely, and staff from shuttle driver to maids very friendly and ready to help. This isn't a new place, but it is more than adequate and I'd stay there again in a minute.

Although the hotel and room were adequate, the bathroom smelled like raw sewage. Don't know if it was just our room or not. Would have asked to switch but were only staying one night.

Staff were great and the continental breakfast was very good. The rooms are a little dated and could use an upgrade. We had a very uncomfortable odor in our first room and the staff moved s immediately. We would stay agian for the location, value and the staff.

Everything was terrific, the only thing that I cn think of that would be nice to see a change would be to put in hand held shower heads. Your staff was most helpful and friendly.
