"Best Hotel I've ever stayed!"
I'm a very picky person when it comes to live in a hotel. But Crown Plaza in Crystal City has offered me the best service ever that I really have no complaint at all! First, when you walk in the elevator, you can only go to upper floors by swiping your room card or the elevator won't move. This means people who don't live here won't bother us! This […] shows a high sense of security for our guests. Then, when I enter the room, I surprisingly find that there is something on the bed. I open it and immediately smiled because it's a relaxing balm&oil combination especially for guests like me who just finish a tiring day of journey. The room is very spacious and the there are high-quality oil-nutrition shampoos, conditioners, lotions. Everything you need is all in the room. I'm very pleased of the hotel's chariness and consideration. Additionally, they have starbuck, bar and cafe inside the hotel. If you don't want to eat in Crown Plaza, the hotel will send shuttle to send you to nearby restaurant for free! So it's just a perfect place. Metro Station is 5 min away. "Nice Hotel, just hard to find"

"Nice but auto-oriented, not pedestrian-friendly"
Nice hotel, the lobby was newer and looked nice, as did the rooms, but the hallways are dated. The room was comfortable but there were a few stray hairs from past guests on my sheets and in the bathroom. Arrived on foot which isn't the best idea for this hotel. I walked around the whole place until I found the front door oddly located facing an interior […] courtyard which is designed for cars not people. "Overall great place for the price"
We were very impressed with the hotel overall. Very clean, good restaurant for breakfast, friendly bar, and exceptionally helpful staff. We were in Washington for the Cherry Festival and when I checked hotels, the one I originally checked on was full. The Crowne Plaza was 2nd choice. I am glad that happened, as we were totally satisfied. Lots of good […] restaurants close by. Nice area to walk around and a courtesy van to where we wanted to go. I was in town to run the Cherry Blossom 10 mile race. I enjoyed my stay. The staff was very friendly ad helpful. The only downside was the construction. We had a very hard time finding the hotel and then were sent on a detour. Once we actually found the hotel we had no trouble getting around. This is the very first time I've left a review for ANYTHING online. The experience at the hotel was great. Room were clean, and the location was convenient as it's close to a subway line. However, the reason I decided to leave this review is because I found the front desk staff to be very courteous and helpful. I should also note that I'm biased because […] I got the room for a great rate due to a sale. If I had paid normal prices, I wouldn't expect the service to be any less than what I received. "Construction"
The hotel room was fine, after we found it. There is construction right next to the hotel, so it was very hard to find the turn in to be able to check in. Upon checking in we realized the restaurant does not open till 4, which is fine, but there was nothing in walking distance to eat. We had to drive to pentagon row just to find somewhere to grab food. […] That is why there is such a low rating on the convenience of the location, without having anything to eat or see within walking distance and having to go through the maze of construction was difficult. I understand your frustration with getting in to our hotel as the construction has caused some disruptions. We can't wait for the construction to end in the next few months! We are located in an area in which there are many options for dining. Although some are not across from us most of them are walking distance. We also offer a hotel shuttle to all local restaurants and shopping within the local area, including Pentagon Row. We also have our restaurant, the Potomac Bar and Grille, inside the hotel that opens at 3:30 pm daily. This is a great option for American food and is located inside the hotel! The room was all I needed it to be, comfortable in every way. The TV worked well, the shower was strong, the room temperature was perfect, the bed was heaven. "Close to airport, free shuttle"
Didn't do anything but sleep - the first room I was assigned was right by the elevator, went for a re-book, and they put me on the 'quiet floor' which was exactly as described - quiet! Slept well, up in time for an early flight out. The hotel itself is under construction, and doesn't have a very nice lobby. It's also really hard to find the entrance. This hotel air conditioner was leaking and our belongings got wet. We complained and the staff compensated us with free breakfast. I did not feel happy but the breakfast was good.Authentische Expedia-Gästebewertung

I can understand you not being happy with your clothes getting wet, I know how inconvenient this must have been. Our housekeeping department and engineering department are working together to ensure this does not happen to no one else. Our Breakfast in the Veranda Café is certainly one that should not be missed by any of our guests. It is a full breakfast buffet that we serve daily from 6:30am to 11 am daily. "Thanksgiving Stay"
My younger son and I spent Thanksgiving holiday here at this hotel. We wanted to spend time with my son who is stationed at Fort Myer, Arlington VA. "Convenient Business Hotel"
Unfortunately for the hotel, there is major construction right next to the building. Finding the hotel and then finding an drive that was not blocked was a challenge -- the staff did their best to deal with a bad situation. The stay and the hotel was very nice. I prososed to my new fiance the night of the stay. I got her a limo and we were on our way to the hotel to find out that the building directly in front of the main entrance was under construction and did not look attractive at all. This is not the hotels fault in any way so please don't let this discourage you fron […] going. We couldn't find the entrance at all because of all the cones and one way signs make the street look closed. Just imagine trying to manouver a 14 passenger stretch limo through a narrow contruction zone!!! UGH!!! this makes the hotel look mighty ugly. Had I known this, I probably would not have stayed here until the contruction was complete....like I said before, the hotel is nice but the contruction makes it look very unattractive....
