Some might complain about the noise from the airport, but I enjoyed watching the jets arrive and depart. There are strict City Laws regarding times planes can use the airport. Literally around the corner from freeway(405) access.

I booked this room last minute and there was no problem with availability. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. I would stay here again. I just thought $150 for the night was a little steep for a Holiday Inn...good hotel but for that much per night I'd stay at a more luxurious hotel.

- Quick shuttle ride to airport. - Room was clean and comfortable. Nice restaurant on top floor was very good for dinner; also, bread pudding dessert was delicious. - Breakfast was unfortunately not included, but the 24-hour diner across the street had a decent menu, quick service, and low prices, so I didn't have to go far.

Lower end of expectations for the money.

This hotel is right next to the Long Beach airport. It is a very comfortable hotel and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. I would stay there again.

I probably wouldn't stay at this hotel again, but for a Hoilday Inn - it was better than I expected. The staff was very nice and helpful. They have a shuttle that runs to and from the airport and the local mall. The room was clean, but smelled a little bit musty. There is nothing to do close by. I'd pay more next time to stay somewhere nicer.

The front desk clerk was wonderful and extremely helpful but even he couldn't make up for the poor facilities. The bathrooms were so small that I hit my knee every time I tried to close the doors (and I'm small). There was no "Holiday Inn" breakfast which was why I chose this hotel in the first place. The location was good for my needs but not very scenic. I would not stay here again. It looked much nicer on-line than in person.

The bed had a comfortable duvet cover and pillow-top mattress. The room decor was simple in color and pleasing to the eyes. I enjoyed a relaxing time at this hotel!

Rooms are noisy from both air traffic and freeway noise.

Thought it was a great value for the money. I was impressed with the "pillow menu". The restaurant at the top was good.

I travel 150+ days a year and stay in many properties in different price and quality ranges. I felt this hotel was overpriced. The staff was very nice.

Good value for your money. The Restaurant on top of building is very good.

Great option for an airport traveler. No amenities in the area though, not a good option for someone visiting LA. A bit more than expected, but you definitely get what you pay for.

The location is just a minute drive to the venue we went to. We could have walked but it was cold.

Phone did not work. New towels were not left after room was cleaned. Overall good place to stay though! Room was clean!

Needs improvement on internet service if you are staying there for business

The beds and bedding were fantastic. I was very comfortable. The only problem we had was the tv picture was extremely red and could not be adjusted either by the remote or manually.

We only stayed at the hotel for one night,however, it was the best night stay at that hotel. It was conveniently located within walking distance to a diner where we ate. A filling station and best of all very close to the airport which is where we needed to be the next morning. Our rooms were very beautiful and fully stocked with all the amenities. Great for the price that we paid. Very comfortable beds,clean bathroom and room. Thumbs up to the housekeeping staff. We especially enjoyed having breakfast @ the very elegant penthouse restuarant at the top floor. all in all it was a great stay and we would definitely stay there again.

Hotel.com stated fridge in room, and one not there. Only sheer curtains across window, the opaque curtains went only half way so traffic from highway shined in room all night long, impacting my sleep. The bathroom and mirror area lights were both on one switch which impacted my sleep when my roommate used the restroom it lite up the sleeping area too. A/C ran all night long no thermostat with auto shutoff. On a positive note, housekeeping did come quickly to replace the non-working coffee pot in the morning and they did the electrical outlet in the mirror area.

This hotel was in a nice area and easy to get to but the service and room was horrible. First off i couldnt close my curtains to our room to have privacy and the AC was louder than an air compressor. When i asked for a different room they said they were booked. So when i asked for someone to come and fix my problems, no one never came. I ended up having to try to sleep with my window open to get fresh air with no AC and the traffic was unbearable. I ended up checking out early in the morning and going to a different hotel.

Hotel is a little dated, but overall, it was clean, safe, and fairly well maintained. There were no restaurants near the hotel (though the hotel had a restaraunt on the top floor), but the hotel was just off 405 which made it very convenient to lots of things.

It is very close to long beach airport.

Good part: park and ride. I left my car at the hotel for a week. The restaurant upstairs is really nice... exceptionally nice. Difficult: I stayed at this hotel the night before a cruise and the night I returned. It did not work for me because the shuttle only takes you to Carnival Cruiselines. I was on Royal Caribbean and it cost me an extra $30 even though it was in the same port. The hotel is under construction but didn't bother me too much because my actual time there was short. The surrounding neighborhood does not have many/any facilities within walking distance or even a short drive. The airport is near so it was a bit noisy. But the rooms were clean and most of the personnel was nice!

The price was a rip-off. Two elevators but one was under construction -- but there was no sign it was even being worked on. Loud traffic and plane noise. Had to stand in the tub to shut bathroom door -- design couldn't have passed code. Tub fixtures old and falling apart. Should never have been rated with 3 stars. More like 1 1/2 stars.

good room for the money. however i asked for a non-smoking room. i was told it was non smoking and there were no ash trays in the room but it smelled like smoke.
