Das Hotel ist in New Carrollton (Maryland ). Die Umgebung besteht aus Supermärkten und Schnellrestaurants.Das Hotel hat einen eigenen Shuttelservice zur Metro .Die Hinfahrt nach Fahrplan ,die Rückfahrt nach ansage.Das Frühstück ist wie überall in Amerika nicht sehr reichhaltig ,aber man wird satt. So das übliche Essen.Kaffee Tee Toast MIlch Cornflex Rührei Butter Marmelade .Die Zimmer sind sauber und sehr geräumig

Hotelzimmer sing großzügig mit eingebauter Kitchenette - alles ist sehr sauber und gepflegt - das Frühstückbüffet (complimentray) ist reichhaltig und sehr gut - die Hotelpersonal ist hilfsbereit und sehr zuvorkommend - das Hotelshuttle kann für Transfers zu nahegelegenen Zielen kostenlos genutzt werden - nächstgelegene Metro-Station: Vienna (orange) kann mit Taxi erreicht werden - wenn mit Auto unterwegs, ist Lage / Pries-Leistungsverhältnis des Hotels sehr gut.

Das Hotel liegt direkt am Jeffersson Highway, sehr einfach zu finden, wenn man mit dem Mietwagen unterwegs ist. Der Service am CheckIn/Checkout ist nicht gerade umwerfend oder freundlich. Die Mitarbeiter waren genervt und recht ungeduldig. Das Doppel-Zimmer war ein Städte-Trip-Traum: groß, sehr sauber, das Sleep-Number-Bett (man kann den Härtegrad der Matratze individuell einstellen) in Kingsize war sehr bequem - gute Schlaf garantiert! in ca. 3 min ist man an der Metro-Station "Crystal City" (unter dem Marriott Hotel). Die Station hat eine Einkaufspassage. Das Ticketsystem der Metro ist leider etwas kompliziert - am besten vorher mal online reinschauen! Die Fahrt in die City zum weißen Haus und dem Memorial Park dauert ca. 20 min. Für einen Städtetrip in die City ist das Hotel absolut empfehlenswert!
Lage

Ich habe das vergangene Wochenende dort verbracht und habe im großen und ganzen nur positives erlebt. Das Personal ist zuvorkommend und bemüht sich dass, sich die Gäste rundum wohlfühlen. Kleine Gesten können Großes bewirken! Das Hotel liegt direkt an der Metro, ein Anschlußbahnhof mit drei Subwaylinien zur Auswahl. Shopping direkt vor der Tür. Tons of good restaurants in the area and short walking distance to the metro, Chinatown and the Verizon center. The rooms were clean and well appointed. "Close to METRO"
The hotel was located in a great spot, not even a block to the metro. The Valet crew were a little over-the-top and don't forget to tip them although you are already paying $47 including parking tax for a day of parking. Restaurant a little pricey, especially with kids, but would definitely stay again. Chinatown is 7 blocks around the corner with tons […] of restaurants, try and get there for dinner a little earlier than dinner time...all restaurants get busy. Mehr
"Nice hotel in a very convenient neighborhood!"
Rooms were not overly large, but very nice. All personnel were extremely pleasant and eager to help wherever needed. Metro Station is right next door, and the hotel is within walking distance of many major attractions (White House, monuments, museums) and a few very good restaurants.
"The pillows"
I really enjoyed my stay at the Marriot Metro. The service was impeccable and the bell hop was friendly and courteous. However, the pillows were the best part of the night. The one thing that I would suggest is to validate parking for your guests. I should not have to pay for overnight parking especially when there aren't any other options.

It's relatively spacious room, comfort bed, and good service along with great location. Conveniently next door to subway station, Macy's department store. Few blocks from main DC Landmarks, such as white house, old post office buildings surrounded by restaurants of food variety.

"New Years Eve"
Staff is great, the hotel needs to upgraded, carpets etc, I would stay again but would look elswhere first.
"Found three Beer cans under my bed"
The hotel room is small. not for family type of travel, Dirty beer can under my bed and waited two days later , the maid still did not see it. the bed was lumpy because of the extra comfort mattress that really does not fit to the bed right.
My bed was way too soft, rolled into the middle!, but we were only there for 1 night. I'm sure that if I had told someone at the front desk, they would have changed our room for us: the staff were that nice! The location is perfect, so close to everything, and I will definitely book a room at this Marriott again.
Really good hotel, very good service, good location in a nice neighborhood that is close to the tourist attractions and town center. The staff was very polite and helpful. I would absolutely recommend it.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean. The hotel staff were attentive and very nice. The surrounding area was nice and only a short walk to Macy's, China Town and the Metro. I would stay at this hotel again when in DC and also recommend it.

"Marriott Metro Center in Washington, DC"
The room was very spacious -- much larger than a similarly priced room at the Hilton, where I stayed recently. The location is extremely convenient to major sites and museums and the Metro is just down the block. There aren't too many places to have breakfast nearby, however.

"what a hotel should be"
In my opinion, this hotel struck a perfect balance. The staff was always pleasant and helpful but not overbearing. The room was always clean. The location was convenient. I was traveling on business and decided to incorporate a mini family vacation. This hotel met all our needs and expectations.
"Good price, location and expensive valet parking"
Price is not bad. Location is awesome with the price. But valet parking is a little expensive, over $40 with Tax... 2 doubles are small for 2 adults and 2 children (10 & 7).

Amazing location for walking around all. Very close to the best museums and national monuments. The hotel was very pleasant with great service, room and restaurant. Highly recomend it when visiting the capital.

This was a very clean hotel but my husband and I both ended up with allergic reactions to the dust in the rooms. There was none visible on the desks or counter. We suspect the mattress and pillows, (not the bedding), were saturated in it. This led to uncomfortable nights. "Very good hotel - Concierge Manager was excellent!"
Loved the location, the room was great - very clean! The Concierge Manager (Eric) was fantastic as we had booked a rental car with Hertz which went completely wrong. He assisted us with reserving a fantastic car with Enterprise - thank you! Will stay again if I return to Washington.

This is the second time I stayed in this hotel, it is conveniently located close to The Mall and the Metro, as well as many other sightseeing locations. The hotel is very clean and the staff is knowledgable and friendly. If I travel to DC again I will stay here.

We loved this place. Convenient to most everthing a tourist or business person could need, courteous staff, spacious functional lobby, knowledgeable concierge. Love love LOVE the fact that the in-house restaurant stayed open late, until 12:30 AM we went there every day and night the food is great. Can't miss with this hotel.

"Marriott Metro Center - convenient location"
The hotel staff were all very professional and courteous. The hotel was in a very good location and we were able to walk to all of the attractions. You might want to take the metro, as there is so much to see that you will be exhausted at the end of the day. We would stay here again without hesitation.

One block from the Metro, short walk to White House, and sites. Not top shelf, but everything you'd expect from a Marriott. Nice, clean, comfortable.

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights and happy to stay again. Good location, clean and good services. However, the car park is too expensive, $38++ per night for valet parking and the concierge is not friendly .

I FOUND THIS HOTEL TO BE ESPECIALLY COMFORTABLE FOR A WOMAN TRAVELING ALONE. IT IS 1/4 BLOCK FROM THE METRO STOP. THE RESTAURANT IS EXCELLENT. THE STAFF IS VERY POLITE. THE ROOM I HAD FOR 3 NIGHTS WAS REMARKABLY CLEAN, LARGE, WELL-APPOINTED AND COMFORTABLE. "Mariott Metro - classy, convenient, cost-effective"
Came to DC for a long weekend with some friends and chose the Mariott. Its was exactly what we were looking. The rooms were nice and beds were comfortable. Hotel, like most all Mariott's was well appointed with a great staff. Best of all the hotel was quite a bargain compared to everything else in the area. I had to call my own taxi cabs, service was definitely not at the level of the other Marriott Hotel nearby, the JW Marriott. After having reserved for a king bed room, upon arrival they told me that they only have 2 double beds. The view from the room was the most horrific and uninspiring of any hotel stay I have ever had.

Good stay. Convenient to Mall area. Yes, you can walk it at normal pace; takes about 20 min. Super nice wait staff in restaurant. Didn't see pool or exercise room as there's way too much else to see and do beyond the place.
