Hotel war toll, aber das man in dieser Klasse noch immer keinen freinen internet Zugang erhält finde ich persönlich pure Gaunerei. Im Jahr 2010 sollte man Internet mit freien TV Programmen oder den Abfluss einer Toilette gleichstellen und dies nicht zum Ärgernis der Gäste unerlaubt teuer zur Verfügung stellen. Habe den Anschluss für 2 Tage mieten müssen, […] also 40€, wobei ich mir sicher bin dass dadurch schon die Hälfte der Monatlichen Kosten für das gesamte Hotel bezahlt sind. Mehr

Das Hotel hat uns sehr gut gefallen, es liegt wirklich sehr zentral - nur 2 Minuten von Centraal Station. Die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten sind entweder zu Fuß zu erreichen oder nur wenige Straßenbahnstationen entfernt. Unser Zimmer war nicht besonders groß aber komfortabel, dass Bett nicht wirklich King-Size aber groß genug. Es war alles sehr sauber […] und gepflegt, das Personal freundlich. Frühstück haben wir nicht konsumiert, deshalb keine Bewertung. Es könnten einige Haken im Zimmer sein, um Jacken o.ä. aufzuhängen. Mehr

Overall, this hotel is very good. But it is a pity that an extra-bed was not set regardless of pre-ordering the extra-bed. Moreover, it took about one hour to complete the setting after we asked a receptionist to set it.

Great hotel central location polite staff nice rooms amazing beds best I have slept in .would recommend to any one looking for a hotel in Amsterdam

My family and I had an enjoyable stay in early April. The hotel's exterior facade (both in pictures and in person) don't do justice to it's interior. It's nicely decorated in a bright contemporary style. The lobby, lounge and rooms are comfortable and pleasant. Though not big, our room was more than adequate in size and well appointed. It's good to note that even though the immediate surroundings aren't pretty and packed with tourists, it's location is extremely convenient; it's 2 blocks from Centraal Station, where all the trains, trams and buses depart from. This hotel is great because its location is very near to Central station, and the back alley itself is already shopping area of Damrak, which ends at Dam Square, the very popular square(?) in Amsterdam. Hotel service itself is great, however I dont know why every day the breakfast is exactly the same menu ? But everything else is totally awesome.

I have stayed in many hotels in Amsterdam. this is the best by far. Great location, great friendly staff, and nice quiet, secure rooms.

Nice hotel in a great location. Rooms are tiny - even for Amsterdam. Wouldn't be so bad if there were any sotrage space at all. We were in town for several days, but had to live out of suitcases on the floor because there were no drawers and only inches of closet space. It's a shame, too, because the service at this hotel is impeccable. For the price, […] I'd recommend the Renaissance in the same neighborhood. It has the same great service but much larger rooms. We were 4 girls on a weekend away and considering what we paid for it, we were positively surprised by the cleanliness, size of rooms, friendliness of staff, and fantastic overall quality of the rooms. The location is so central but still very quiet (I had a room facing the back alley though). I would recommend this hotel in a heartbeat!

My husband and I just got back from a kid-free weekend at the Crowne Plaza City Center, and everything was amazing. We didn't try the restaurant, but the check-in service, the Concierge, the room, and the location were perfect. This hotel was great!!

Hotel location is very good as it is close to the city centre, near the central station and a trolley route. Since it was my first time in Amsterdam, I mistakenly went first to Crown Plaza Hotel near the airport only to be told that my reservation is for the Crowne Plaza Amsterdam Centre. Seems stupid of me but it would also have helped if I was forewarned […] that there is another Crowne Plaza Hotel. I enjoyed my stay in the hotel. I very much enjoyed staying at this hotel, it was comfortable, the staff were friendly and courteous and the rooms were delightful. The hotel is literally across the road from Central Station (if you go the right way...) so that was a plus as we got the very quick train from Schiphol airport. There are no spectacular views from the hotel, but that didn't […] bother me at all as I was happy to get out and walking about. It's about 10-15 minutes from the Anne Frank House, about 5 minutes from the Dam Square and within walking distance to the shopping area, which I found lovely. The hotel also has a gorgeous 'living room' for relaxing at in between walks and meals, I highly recommend you spend a few minutes enjoying the book case and fire. I also liked the wall art. I highly recommend this hotel for location, comfort and general well being. A pure delight. Mehr

Very nice

I actually ended up staying in Crowne Plaza properties my entire 3 weeks I was in Europe over many cities and was very happy with this particular location. Parking was the only downside but it was onsite. To be fair, parking in Europe is simply expensive anywhere. Either you can park in the public lot a few blocks down for a lower rate or use the valet […] which is what I did. The location is great and close enough to anything I wanted or cared for. The proximity of the train station probably is the only thing that people would consider "sketchy" but like anything else in Amsterdam, be aware of your surroundings and people and you'll be fine. The property itself. Excellent. I had a Clubman room and it was the biggest room I had by far compared to other places I stayed including Berlin. Nicely updated. I'd have no problem pointing this place out to even picky people short of saying it's like the Four Seasons or Waldorf Astoria. The clubman room granted us free internet which was nice and fast even with a hotel full of guests... and access to the club room where the continental breakfast is served (tho I did like the breakfast in the bar/restaurant better). The club room also has drinks and snacks available 24 hours a day. We stayed there over Christmas and my better half received the gift of a porcelain ornament which I thought was a very nice touch. Staff was excellent and worked very hard to make sure our needs were met. I will be staying there in the future for both business and pleasure.... hopefully the standards remain as good if not better. :) Mehr

Very good 4 stars hotel with very good service ( both reception and restaurant).i If you arrive by car pls note that the garage is expensive which is probably normal in a city like Amsterdam.

Good Service but not good parking service. They help you to park with charges but they won't help you when you stand in front of the hotel gate and try to pack up your luaggages. But in general, the rooms were clean and new. The front desk was nice and friendly. Good and easy-understand English speaking. I would stay there again if I visit Armsterdam […] in the future. Mehr

Fantastic hotel, in a fantastic location. Close to all the must see sighs - trams very close by, but everything in walking distance if you prefer that. Staff are friendly and professional, helpful and welcoming. Quiet hotel in city center <5 min from central train station very nice, clean room, with LCD TV and excellent bathroom products the room was fairly large good service from hotel staff, they were very helpful and service minded free gym was a plus Amsterdam has a small center so you can walk easily everywhere, the hotel is close to the western canal […] belt which is a beautiful area a downside was no free wireless in the room but then again they had a business center with computer free of charge so at least you had access to internet no breakfast included but that seems to be the case in the NL, didn't really matter because there was a superb café just a couple of minutes away from the hotel Mehr

Hotel is ideally located to most of the major attractions - Dam Square, Madam Tussaud's, the Red Light District and key tour offices/attractions were literally a stone's throw away!! Staff extremely welcoming and helpful - local map and key places to visit provided on check-in. Room was prestine/clean, comfortable and many extras thrown in - complimentary […] coffee/hot chocolate/bottled water etc!! An easy 5 minute walk from Centraal Station, the Crowne Plaza is a convenient, clean and comfortable hotel. The room was a good size (larger than many), the bed comfortable, good working space and provided one of the best night's sleep. It's on a major tram line and is easily within walking distance of major attractions.

The hotel is nothing to look at, but clean and accommodating. Rooms are on the smaller size, but everything is small in Amsterdam. Free umbrellas for use during stay was very nice touch as well as no charge for coffee or tee in the room. The hotel charges city tax at the check out, which was not expected for pre-paid stay.

This hotel is well situated, very basic room, very clean. A block away is the main train station which helps you et around plus all boat and ferry service are also across the street.

My daughter and I stayed here for two nights on our trip to Amsterdam. We were very pleased with our room: Beds were comfortable, pillows nice and soft!The room was very clean and nicely appointed. The staff (even though it seems as though they could be a little stuffy) were very nice and helpful. The concierge helped us with any plans we had and even […] offered suggestions and tickets at a discount through the hotel. Even had postcard postage available! Everyone was very pleasant...the price was a little bit more, but well worth it. The location is very close to the Centraal Train Station so it was great for us since we arrived by train and had to wheel our suitcases. Would definitely stay here again! Mehr

Excellent location by Train Station and major tourist activities. We really enjoyed the 3 night stay, including the restaurant.

Enjoyed our 3 nights stay esp on the designated portion of 5th floor as the quiet zone. Shower needed adjusting due to warm/lukewarm/hot uneven combination. Service with a smile by all staff.

We enjoyed our stay here very much. Very personable staff. Extremely comfortable room. Large bathroom with all expected amenities. Location is touristy, but if you have to catch an early train, it's great.

It was my first time to Amsterdam and my first time to Europe. The hotel was very nice and newly renovated and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The staff were OK but a little stuffy and although the concierge did answer my questions and make my reservations as requested, they were not very personable or friendly at all. Just the minimum effort. […] It was located very close to the Central Train Station but was quiet. There are lots of places to eat and shop in this central location. Since it was my first time and I was traveling as a single woman, I wanted to make sure I was in a safe and clean place so it was a good choice. However, the hotel is very expensive and there were many other suitable locations that were close and more affordable so if I were to return, I would definitely stay at some other place. For dinner, the Argentinean steak house across the street was outstanding. It is expensive but most of the restaurants are expensive here and but the quality as well as the service were exceptional and worth the money for a nice meal. Also, you definitely want to book your room online before arrival since the prices to extend your stay are even more expensive than the online rates. Note that the internet services are also very expensive and charged by the day or the hour not by the stay. Do not go to the restaurant for breakfast buffet because the pricing is very expensive and there are lots of places just outside that serve breakfast for much less. You can walk anywhere in the city or rent a bike just make sure to wear comfortable shoes. The Anne Frank house was pretty close but the Rijksmuseum was a little far. Of course, you can take a boat or a public tram if you choose. The people on the street and in the shops around Central station and the hotel were very friendly but I found that the people in a few of the shops on the other side of town near the museums were not. I travel to Amsterdam for business about once a month - I have tried several nearby hotels and for a well kept and conveniently located hotel the Crowne is the one I would recommend. Perfect location and the 'riffraff' seems to stay away - so you get a good nights sleep. This is a new building with completely up to date rooms and furnishings. The hotel location is excellent, literally 5mins from the train station and 5 mins to the Centre of Amsterdam. The hotel standard was exactly what you would expect from a 4* hotel. The beds were lovely, the most comfortable I have ever slept in. The hotel breakfast was a typical buffet selection, it was nice but very expensive at 25€

Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel, great location really near everything you need. The room was very clean and free internet. It wasnt the cheapest but you get what you pay for...

Vi hadde nok for høye forventinger til dette hotellet.Vi hadde deluxe rom men ble skuffet over interiør,faciliteter og generell service.Beliggenheten er god i forhold til det meste.

駅から近く、たいていの観光地には歩いていけました。まわりにはスーパーやレストランも多く、食事にも便利でした。お部屋はあまり広くはないですが不便はありません。水周りも清潔で快適でした。
