Quality Inn Hamburg - Hamburg

It was ok. My wife and I drove up to attend the Bills Draft Party and this was one of the closest hotels. Not bad, but not great either. For the price I can't complain. We got a room with two twin beds and they were kinda small for us but that's cause I'm cheap, lol. The TV channel selection wasn't great, maybe 20channels total and half of them were […] dumb ones. The next morning when we were leaving, we decided to skip out on the free continental breakfast offered by hotel and the guy behind the desk gave us directions to "Pegasus" which is a greek restaurant in Hamburg that was pretty decend. The food was average at best but VERY VERY cheap. Overall, good stay. Probably going back for the Thursday night game in November vs Miami. Mehr

I was here for a full week for business & chose the hotel based on price point & on location of where I was training (business). The floor in the bathroom was very dirty - I cleaned myself as once I get into room I don't like having others in my space. The carpet also appeared to be dirty with flakes of wall dust around all corners of room as though […] the vacuum was bumped into wall heavily & the housekeeper did not bother to clean up with nozzle. Due to the fact that I have cleaned houses in the past, I notice these things that speaks to laziness on the part of the housekeeper. I did relay to the front desk so they were aware. Otherwise, I was impressed with the quietness of room and overall got what as expected for price point. Mehr

When I was checking in, the receptionist got a call from a guest that was having a problem with the plumbing. She was very nice, apologized and said she would be glad to give them another room. At first look, the hotel itself was not that bad. There did not seem to be that many guests either. It was very quiet. The room seemed ok to the eye, however, […] when we got into the room, the toilet looked like it had been used and not flushed. There was an open can of soda in the refrigerator as well as a 3/4 full quart of milk that had expired. Hopefully this is an isolated incident and no one else will have this problem. It was about 5 mins to the casino which is not all it's cracked up to be. then about 15 mins to the Walden Galleria Mall - 2 story, lots of stores and dining choices. There was a bar/rest in the hotel. We did not eat there, but played pool and listened to the jukebox. There was a band coming in later that evening, but we did not stay for it. Continental breakfast was decent. the waffle machine, fruit, yogurt, toast etc...the usual. Mehr

Clean, comfortable and quiet. Also the business center and exercise room are added conveniences. Great breakfast too! Priced well for accommodations.

we went down for the Bills & Jets game, stayed 2 nights, the staff were nice, no issues, very quiet , we stayed Saturday night & they put the hockey game on in the bar so we could watch it, greatly appreciated. friendly staff & good people at the bar & the wings in the restaurant were second to none, over all enjoyed our stay.

Pretty standard hotel. About 40 mins drive to Niagara falls.

When we arrived at 10:30pm at the hotel there were already two angry customers in the lobby waiting to be served. They had both been waiting a while. The one individual had been given a room that was already occupied! The poor girl at the desk was new, all by herself on a Friday night and the phone was ringing constantly too. I waited a good 15 to 20 […] min just to check in. Once in the room it was OK, very tiny, the tissue box was empty, it looked like it needed vacuuming and the comment card had been filled out two weeks earlier and never picked up. Our room fortunately was not near the lobby because they were doing kareoke in the bar and it was really loud down the hall. The breakfast the next morning, however, was included and was very good - prepared omlets, sausage, bacon, hard boiled eggs, belgian waffles, bagels, yogurt etc etc. That made up a little for the poor service. The hotel staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable.

we enjoyed our stay at hamburg, ny and found only one problem and that was that our room was for handycap only and the shower didn't have a high enough lip to keep the water in the shower and the floor flooded

Smoke detector was removed from room, dining room was nearly 15 mins late opening in morning for breakfast & tables were dirty. Spoke to front desk person and related my concerns to no avail. Even e-mailed after and still - completely clueless!! Will NEVER stay there again even though I go to area regularly. A simple apology would've sufficed.

I travel a lot, and for the price, the hotels down the road, that are cheaper, were better than this one. Internet was intermittently working throughout my week stay. There was a huge leak in my ceiling. The walls are thin, and I heard a few people yelling and cursing.

The hotel itself has been refurbished, having said that, the old self shows through. It's not dirty or musty but the bathrooms need a make over. Tiles are rough...the crispness of a new hotel is not here. Outside of that, the stay was fine. Nice bed, lots of TV channels, AC (a bit noisy) was good, location to shopping was awesome, too much to explore […] in one weekend. Easy access from hyway, good breakfast and so on. I'll be back. The hotel suffered recent damage from wind. The outdoor entrances didn't lock during the day. This bothered me. The breakfast during the week was Okay, but on Friday it was excellent. The hotel lounge and restaurant was good priced, and serves GREAT wings. My room needed some maintenance in the restroom, the shower was hard to regulate, and the sink […] drained slowly. It seems that there is better service during the day and evening than the Night and Early AM. The early A.M. cook during the week seemed more accustomed to cooking Curry and Tandoori chicken, he should not try to cook eggs or sausages EVER AGAIN. I would stay at this hotel, primarily it is close to the Ford Buffalo Stamping Plant, easy to get to freeways, has stores and restaurants nearby, and the neighborhood seemed safe and well kept. The town of Hamburg is a little jewel near Buffalo with a lot of little stores, bars, restaurants, and variety. The pool was outside, and closed, a disappointment. The hotel restaurant "Hideaways" had some of the BEST WINGS that I have ever eaten. I would come back just for those. Tell Apu to stop cooking the sausage in the microwave, and the breakfast may just be one of the best expanded continental breakfasts that I have consumed. This property is a former Holiday Inn. It is easy to miss off Camp Rd if it is on your right. If you get to the "holiday plaza" shopping center, you went too far. Mehr

This was NOT a 3 star hotel. Nasty, mean and hateful employees The free breakfast that came with the room only serves coffee to drink. I don't drink coffee. We also had to wait at our table for 40 min just to be told we will be with you in a minute. They only had 4 tables with people sitting at them. All the other tables where empty. It took an hour […] just to get my children some cereal. They didn't do anything to try and make us happy or correct the situation. The help told me "SO WHAT? everyone has to wait." People that arrived after us had a hot meal before anyone even said hello to us. Mehr
