Holiday Inn Cairns - Cairns

Das Zimmer hatte Schiummel an der Decke. Wir haben nach Reklamation ein anderes bekommen, welches besser war. Alles in allem ist das Hotel aber sehr lieblos geführt.

Very nice hotel. Professional staff and counselor on site to help with excursions. Great convenient location. Very satisfied.

stayed on way to Fitzroy Island, very good location and rooms are nice. nice info desk in lobby to help with area information. Rooms aren't the newest but they are clean and decently sized.

The owners, Sharon and David, are doing a great job to make you satisfied with your stay. The location could be better but David gives you a ride to the city in their small bus and the walk back is a quite nice evening walk.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Holiday Inn, Cairns. We stayed here before and after our 3 day boat trip to the Great Barrier Reef where we tried diving and did lots of snorkeling. The hotel is situated in a wonderful location near their Esplanade, which is a walk-way bordering the beach. The hotel is very comforable and updated. Would definately recommend this hotel, conveniently located within walking distance to restaurants, cafes, and shops. The esplanade and walking path are right across the street, great views. The staff was very friendly - definately talk with them, we got 2 great restaurant recommendations that we wouldn't have found on our own.

Nice and clean hotel in walking distance to the Esplanade. Would stay there again.

Nice experiences staying in Holiday inn Cairns!!! we are very impress with the overall service provided by the hotel and the prices was acceptable. we upgrade to an ocean view room and enjoyed beautiful landscape. the pity thing was, we did not notice that the check-in time is 2pm and it does not say on the booking website, we came at 10pm (as normally […] hotel start check-in from 10pm, and 12pm the latest) and we book afternoon event at 2pm. so definitly need to upgrade it otherwise would waste the whole afternoon. guest wish to book in MUST clearifly with the check-in time to avoide disappointment!!!! Holiday Inn is a comfortable hotel in a excellent location, Staff were very good due to the issue of our late arrival due to Tiger Aiway being grounded! They placed us in a sea front room which imedaitely relaxed us. Bathroom are quite small but the main room is spacious.

Great hotel, great service. The only downside to this hotel is that there were small ants here and there in the bathroom during our stay. It didn't bother us too much.

This hotel has recently been renovated, the rooms are modern with flat screen tvs and a selection of pillows are provided. Staff was friendly and responded quickly to questions. However, they were unable to match my last name with my room number and did not notify us of our photos being delivered from the Camera Rental company (underwater camera rented […] for the GBR), the pictures now have to be mailed to my home address. The room was nice and clean besides the ANTS, they were all over the wooden furniture and would get into any food left out. The hotel is located towards the end of the Esplanade, it takes about 15 minutes to walk down to the marina where all reef tour companies depart. Overall our stay was good, except the ants and photo mishap. Mehr

I really enjoyed my stay at the HolidayInn Cairns the only thing that was missing from my room was a microwave oven its essential when travelling alone. The hotel laundry needs work was a little dated and tired but overall a lovely experience.

The room was spacious, clean, comfortable. Front desk staff was friendly, accommodating, helpful. The Tour desk staff was not so much. The hotel is right next to the Esplanade and easy walk to Marina and Nightmarket etc.

Hotel was good and clean, but they do have a problem with ants - signs are on the desk warning of this. Recommend staying here if you are looking for reasonable price hotel in great location. Can't recommend Cairns though....go to Port Douglas instead.

The pool was very dated and somewhat dirty. My children went down to swim but didn't go in the pool. The cushions on the lounge chairs were very dirty. I wouldn't sit on them. There were ants in the bathroom and on the dresser in the room. They were getting on all of our things. Room needs to be sprayed.

A short review to say we had a great stay, the hotel staff were excellent and friendly at check-in, as were the bar staff. The rooms are clean, comfortable and modern and the hotels location is close to the beach and a ten minute slow walk to the main CBD of Cairns where they have a fantastic public lagoon/pool outdoors. Thoroughly recommend it!

Very nice hotel and nicely located to the downtown area. Quiet and comfortable.

Nothing fancy - but hotel room was clean. The hotel was also really close to the main area of the city and the docks where all the boat tours left from. The lady at the tours desk in the hotel lobby was VERY helpful in getting you booked on the right tour for you. I give the place a thumbs up!

We arrived late into the hotel and were thankful to reach our very clean room. Great location right on the esplanade, very helpful and friendly staff.

My husband and I stayed 5 nights here and found the hotel ideally located, close to shore front and lovely boardwalk and nearby cafes and restaurants. Staff at all times very helpful inc. tour desk. On day we checked out we were around the hotel until early evening and they offered us use of the pool (which we didn't take) and it's facilities at no […] extra cost. There was no order at the hotel, people were screaming and shouting at 3am, having been noisy earlier in the day. The hotel is grossly overpriced for what was there. It was nothing more than a motel with a nice but overpriced resturant and bar.

From the reviews I read before, I expected a superior Holiday Inn. I thought the rooms and amenities were okay, but not superior. Room was clean but small and oddly shaped. Common areas were not so clean, and the laundry (one washer and dryer per floor) with ancient machines (loud, not kind to clothes) and in the same room as the garbage (so smelly). […] It feels very much like a place people sleep after going to the beach/the rainforest/the reef each day, bringing their sand and their dirty laundry back with them. 신혼여행으로 묵었는데 좀 더 좋은 호텔로 갈껄하는 아쉬움은 있지만 침대 너무 편하고 객실이 깔끔해서 좋았어요.

非常好的酒店设施，有免费的泳池和spa池，酒店环境非常好，把很多热带植物搬进了酒店的院子，很别致~距离码头不是很近，大约要步行15分钟，到超市也大概要15分钟，总体感觉非常满意~推荐

離市區算滿近的大概步行五分鐘, 又離海邊很近, 房間舒適乾淨 很棒 有機會可以去住看看

깔끔하고 안락하고 좋았습니다. 케언즈 시내에 위치해 이동거리도 좋았구요~

Hotelli oli hyvällä paikalla rantakadun varrella lähellä keskustaa ja satamaa. Langattomaan internettiin kirjautumisessa oli ongelmia, jotka tukipalvelu sai ratkaistua ja palvelu toimi tämän jälkeen hyvin.

日本人のスタッフもいて安心でしたし ホテル自体も綺麗でよかったです。 ただ、オーストラリアで仕方ありませんが 子蟻がとても多く、対処してもらえるみたいでしたが アンケート用紙にて知り、もう帰国近くだったので それだけが残念でした。 場所もよく便利で眺めもよく、またぜひ利用したいと思いました。

위치가 젤 좋았구요.. 객실 청소는 오락가락 이네요. 그래도 불편함 없이 깨끗했어요. 직원들이 좀 더 친절하면 더 좋을 듯 해요.

家族３人で３泊しましたが、エキストラベッドも用意してくれ、ありがたかったです。また、中心部へも徒歩圏内のため良かったです。フロントやツアーデスクにも毎日ではないかもしれませんが、日本の方もおられますし、助かりました。フロントも丁寧です。近くにレンタカー会社も複数有ります。宿泊客は、街とは違いアジア系の人が少なく、オーストラリアに来た実感をより味わうことが出来ました。
