Der Check-In war soweit in Ordnung, allerdings der Check-Out war eine besondere Erfahrung. Leider nicht positiv. Wir mußten beim Check-In 100 € hinterlegen - obwohl das Hotelzimmer bereits bei Internetbuchung bezahlt worden ist. Beim Ausschecken bekamen wir allerdings nur noch 91.87 € zurück. Es wurde erst nach mehrmaligen Nachfragen unwillig erklärt, […] dass es sich um die Amsterdamer Stadtsteuer handeln würde, die man jetzt abgezogen hätte. So etwas haben wir vorher noch nie bezahlen müssen ! Zum Zimmer: 2 große Kingsize-Betten. Zwischenräume ca 50 - 9o cm. 2 Stühle so in das Zimmer gepreßt, dass man fast nicht daran vorbeigehen konnte. Für den mitgebrachten Koffer - kein Platz. Dafür allerdings ein großes Badezimmer. Es war sauber, allerdings hat das Zimmer schon seine besten Zeiten hinter sich. Mehr

Als Businesshotel sehr geeignet, nur das Frühstück lässt zu wünschen übrig.

Hat alles gepasst , konnten schon morgen um 9,30 Uhr das Zimmer beziehen. Sehr gerne wieder

Das Preis- / Leistungsverhältnis stimmt und der Aufenthalt für eine vierköpfige Familie war eher günstig. Das Frühstück, welches separat bezahlt werden musste, ist eher teuer. Das Frühstück ist vom Angebot her reichhaltig, jedoch hatte es zuwenig Geschirr, was unangenehm war, dass man sich Tassen, Besteck, usw. organisieren musste. The only redeeming feature of this overpriced hotel is that it was 50m to the office. The showers where not working they charge for wifi, parking and breakfast. The hotel is clinical yet not the cleanest. I felt like it was a business hotel i.e. you only sleep there. Its far from the centre of town and the staff are not that helpful. I told them the […] shower was not working properly and all I got was a we will look into it and nothing off my stay for the inconvienience. Holiday Inn is appalling Mehr

Great for a family just to sleep and take tram, bike or walk...Internet super expensive, restaurant expensive and with bad service (we ordered burgers, came without bread, and it was charged as extra...5 euros a piece!)

Very good neighborhood, Very good service, very clean and confortable room/

Reasonable price

The hotel was very good (although expensive), welcoming and friendly staffs. But while checking out, I was surprised with the parking charge of 25 Euro even for hotel customers. Location was very good.

Hotel was good and could park, too far out of city centre, at the end of the tram line (30mins) also charged room tax even though should have already been paid through Hotels.com

We stayed here on an unexpected layover. This hotel is a 20 min train ride from the airport and away from downtown Amsterdam. We arrived late at night but were met with a friendly informative staff. The hotel it’s self was beautiful; indoor pool, spa, restaurant in arboretum with indoor pond. The room was what you would expect from a Hilton here in […] the states. The only down side was having to pay for internet access. Taxi from Train station to hotel was 20 Euro going (waiting at train station) and 10 Euro back(hotel called). Over all this was a great experience. Mehr

The Holiday Inn was very nice and clean. The staff were very accommodating. I would go again.

The staff were extremely nice and helpful and everyone spoke English. Parking was a little confusing but we were able to park at the Eurocenter right next door for a small fee. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. The restaurant served a very nice breakfast but the cost was a bit pricey. We would definitely reccomend this hotel and stay there […] again if we go back. The street car stop was just behind the hotel and very convenient to getting everywhere. Mehr

Good hotel, particularly for business. Close to RAI Station, and quick Metro ride into centre of Amsterdam, terminating at the Central Station. Bit restricted on Menu, as during stay restaurant wasn't open. Could become very boring after a couple of days. Bathrooms in need of a refresh, but clean and serviceable. Good hotel. Tram 4 to the city center around the corner. Good for the price we paid. I would recommend it

Small rooms had mold in the bathrom. Charged me twice for the room took me 3 days to get my money back. Staff was very rude did not like americans. Lots of hidden fees city tax, country tax, 30euro parking per day. IF YOU STAY HERE ASK TO SEE ROOMS FIRST!

Not far from the city. Near to Amsterdam Suid Station, where we took the train to Hamburg.

Overall my stay was satisfactory, even though the internet acces fee was too expensive.

The only inconvenience was the location, but it is easy to reach by taking the tram available just outside the train station. The advantage was that we got to see more of Amsterday than we would have. Staff was very helpful. Highly recommened it.

Once we reached the hotel, we had to wait over 2 hours to get our room. Every time I checked with the desk, I was told that the room has still not been cleaned. I dont understand how long it could take housekeeping to clean a room, especially when they know a guest is waiting in the lobby for that long. And with a little 2 year old kid, it's not the […] kind of experience one would want. Having said that, the location of the hotel was fine. Not in the heart of town, but that means it was reasonably priced. The hotel was clean, the rooms were spacious, the bar-restaurant was fine with a nice collection of drinks and a decent food menu. I would stay there again, and recommend it. But I just hope the hotel do something about their room availability. Making guests wait, saying that their room is not cleaned up yet, is not really acceptable, especially from a good hotel chain like Holiday Inn. Mehr

I was really happy about this hotel. I saw some people complaining about the location, but I don't understand why. The metro station was right outside and you could be at the central station within 10-15 minutes with no switching necessary. We bought 2 day passes and didn't have to use any taxis. I had a good tourist guide that told me which number […] bus or what metro went where, so that made it much easier. But yes, you'd have to get on a bus, metro or trolley in order to get to the center; there was really nothing around. The hotel was great, though. Clean, comfortable and fairly inexpensive. I'd definitely stay there again! Mehr

This is a great hotel, the best I've stayed in in Europe so far for the two years that we've lived over here. Was pretty much the same as an American hotel. Our room was wonderful. There is a parking garage right next to the hotel that you can park in for only 28 euro per night, which in Amsterdam is REALLY cheap! Room was good sized | hotel was located next to Tram Depot to city center! They even have Concierge | Bell Service.

This hotel is nice enough but it is miles and miles away from anything you want to do and you will spend major bucks on metro/tram tickes (and time) getting back and forth...so just put that money toward a room closer to center city. I questioned the staff about nearby shops/ restaurants when we checked in because I was considering changing hotels after […] I saw the location on the long long tram ride from the train station. Staff assured me there were activities and food "within 5 minute walk" which I later learned was a strip mall with icky fast food and all shops closed early - and they were not local shops, but "mall" type shopping. The computer/internet access was pricey, both printers were broken and one computer down. I reported to staff but it was not repaired during my 3 day stay. Amsterdam is a great place to stay...just get closer to the action. Mehr

Go direct from Schipol airport to the RAI stop by train in 9 minutes and you are 50 M from the hotel. Hotel is 15 mins by tram from centre of city,and is literally 50m from tram stop, so getting around is easy.Tram 4 goes from central station to amsterdam RAI, where the hotel is situated.Hotel was clean and sevice good. only downsides were bar expensive […] (5.50 euro for a pint of lager) and i found the pillows uncomfortable. We got an excellent rate however,which more than compensated. We didn't eat in the hotel. There are a good selection of restaurants on the other side of the RAI convention centre about 15 mins walk. Satisfait ds l'ensemble. Trop loin du centre ville

Hotel superbe personnel aimable et disponible a n'importe quelle heure. Le tramway qui relie l'hotel au centre d'amsterdam est a 5min a pieds : si vous etes en voiture vous metterez a peine 20min. Vous pouvez aussi prendre le taxi pour une vingtaine d'euros... Chambres impeccables bref rien a redire !
