This motel was very average. The staff was friendly, but I missed having a breakfast room. Found a bug in the bed as we were leaving-which is never good. :(

I had a late night check in but there was still a lot of activity in the hotel. To the best of my knowledge there was only one staff person on duty (the manager listed as on duty was not on premise). The check in process was slow and frustrating for myself and the others in line. No major complaints, the desk chair had a broken arm, the coffee table had water stains, the bed was comfortable enough (but seemed to sit low to the ground). The lobby is nice.

The location is very good, located in Brooklyn Ctr, which is northwest of MSP, very accessible from Hwy694. The room was clean and nice.

Started off bad when we said at check in we were suppose to have connecting rooms. Clerk said when you book on line you get what you get. Second we were suppose to have one room with two king or queen size beds again the clerk said you have a couch that makes into a bed that should be good enough. Would like to say that we also needed a refrigerator […] in one of the rooms and they did bring that fast. Also cleaning lady lost one of our grandkids toys while cleaning said she saw it on the dresser but did not know what happen to it.Later that day when she was cleaning our other room way around the corner when she got down the hall I saw it fall on the floor from her cart. We were there for a wedding and stayed 5 nights and with the breakfast buffet ($9.95) closing at 9 Am it was hard to get up and going that early would be alright for business but us too early. Should have had coffee 24 hours like the Hampton and Holiday Express because of the price they charge . Mehr

the room heating/cooling system is outdated and woke me up at night. In general the guest rooms need some refreshing - like new carpeting. But the bed was comfortable and the staff was great!

not recommended no shower curtain,pillows smelled and no pillow cases,tub and sink were clogged,doors slammed all night ,the food was awful the elevator stopped at floors for no reason.

I was disappointed in the service, the amenities were not at all as the pictures perceived - it was old - out bathroom door didn't even close correctly, the rooms were much smaller than those of much cheaper hotels. Felt like I wasted money and was disappointed in staying here overall.

Overall a great hotel. Breakfast food was okay too, nothing exiting. The only recommendation for the hotel is to change those old style toilets. Sometimes I had to flush twice to clear the toilet. The hotel also had conference rooms which was handy for businesses/training. Not too much selection for restaurants outside the hotel that are close by. Hotel was close to where we needed to go the next day was quiet and comfortable. Getting to the regular TV channels was a bit confusing but we figured it out.

The hotel was great but it is geared towards business professionals. It is about 30min from the mall of america and about 25min from the Vikings stadium. The hotel itself was nice. The pool was big but not deep and the hot tub was small small, like max of 3 people small. Great hotel. Only thing that I was not happy with was the maid knocking on the door at 9am when check out was not till 11am. Then while carrying suit cases to the car the maid kept asking if I was leaving. I know she was just doing her job, but if check out isn't till 11, just let me be.

Hotel is in a great location right off the freeway...easy access. Pleased with the room. Has a restaurant and bar within...great lobby. I would definitely stay there again!

What a great hotel. I was very impressed by it. Thankfully, it is located in a sleepy part of Brooklyn Center. JUst south by a few miles is a questionalble area. I would highly recommend it to any one looking for an overnight getaway like my wife and I had.

I stayed here based on a great rate that I saw advertised. I was mostly satisfied with my stay. My only complaints would have been that the elevators did not seem to work very well. There were only 2 - and one of them did not work during my stay. To accomodate, you could use a service elevator meant for employees. It was rather interesting trying to […] find it. Also, the wireless internet did not seem to work on a consistent basis and there were no instructions to be found for it in the room. This is a great hotel with first class linens and amenities. The continental breakfast was delicious. We had a quiet, peacful night's rest after the kids wore themselves out in the pool. Would stay here again!!

Have stayed in other hotels that are near this one. I am sorry that I stayed here recently. Rooms not made up and a front desk where you can never get ahold of anybody. Just not a well run hotel that's for sure. I have never slept in a bed that had 4 worse pillows than this one. This was one of the worst night's sleep I had in a long time. The front desk service was great but the hotel is poorly constructed and NOISY! The doors are cheap and don't close on their own so every door gets slammed ALL NIGHT LONG! I called to complain at midnight. Also, when the room next door slammed their door MY BED ACTUALLY MOVED! I stay at hotels every other month..........This is more in the 3 or 2.5 star category. Simply no attention to detail. Found cherrios on the floor, sheets had a (hopefully) coffee stain two days in a row which means sheets were not changed. I was just expecting nicer. Asked for a fridge and it arrived dusty and the door needs a chair propped against […] to stay closed. OH! I thought we were near a train but the hotel has a motor/HVAC/something, running ALL NIGHT. I loved this hotel! It was well-run, comfortable and had lots of little treats, like lavender-scented linen spray, fluffy comfortable beds and a spacious room!

It was OK, but lots of money for a mediocre hotel--couldn't use computer as the door was locked and a person using it said she would be at least 15 minutes! Elevator was broken--it took forever

This hotel was fine for the most part, a few very annoying glitches in my particular room, loose window that magnified wind whistle all night, and air conditioner that wouldn't turn off and was loud. They did send up someone to turn it off, and, besides that, very satisfactory. Nice trail by a stream next to hotel though for runners.

This is the second time we've stayed at the Crowne Plaza North. The hotel has always been clean and the staff friendly. We included the breakfast and if you like a hot breakfast it was good, fruit was fresh. The beds are some of the most comfortable hotel beds I have found.. Solid hotel.

Even the best of hotels can't overcome its surroundings, I walk out one night from the hotel and 3 people from were smoking dupe. Worst thing they weren't the least bothered by my being there. I also had my car broke in and a GPS and many other items stolen. Great hotel, decaying neighborhood. A shame.
