Wir möchten immer ein Zimmer zum Hof haben und nicht eines im angrenzenden Hotelgebäude. Ich habe deshalb schon die teurere Zimmerkategorie gebucht mit 2 Betten. Aber wie letztes Mal 10 Dollar Upgrade gezahlt. Aber dafür super freundlicher Service. Super Preis Leistungsverhälltnis für San Francisco und tolle lage zu Fuß 5-10Minuten zur Fisherman-Warf. Auch parken für 12 Dollar in San Francisco ,es sind es in den meisten anderen Hotels 25-50 Dollar.Jederzeit wieder.

Das Hotel liegt in der Geary St. ein paar Blocks vom Union Square. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im zweiten Stockwerk im Mittelgang, was den großen Vorteil hat, dass man den Straßenlärm nicht mitbekommt, sondern nur den gelegentlichen Lärm den andere Gäste verursachen. Die Zimmer haben nur ein kleines Fenster mit einem wenig schönen Ausblick auf den Innenhof. Das Continental Breakfast besteht aus Kaffee, Toast m. Butter u. Marmelade, O- bzw. Apfelsaft u. einem Stück Obst. Problematisch ist die Parkplatzsituation, da gleich vor der Haustür eine Bushaltestelle ist und ansonsten i.d.R. nur Parkplätze für Kurzparker vorhanden sind. Das Hotel bietet für 30 $ p. Tag einen Valetparkservice an, d.h. es kommt jemand u. parkt das Auto irgendwo, was sehr gut funktioniert hat. Das Hotel liegt zwar in der Nähe des Unionsquare aber auch sehr dicht am Tenderloin Bezirk, den man vor allem Nachts meiden sollte. Insgesamt kann ich das Hotel vom Preis - Leistungsverhältnis weiter empfehlen!

"Bilder vom Hotel u. Realität stimmen nicht überein"
Preis-Leistung stimmt nicht. Waren ziemlich entäuscht ! Haben uns mehr erhofft :( Ist preislich höher weil es am AirPort liegt. Einrichtung naja!!! Personal freundlich ! Auf unserer Reise haben wir in comfort. Zimmern übernachtet zu einem günstigeren Preis.

Hotel liegt gut, nahe bei SFO, ca 20-25 min über Hwy nach Downtown SF mit Auto. Stadtteil Millbrae liegt gegenüber für Einkäufe oder Restaurants. Frühstücksbuffet o.k., Schliesfach für Wertsachen an Rezeption ohne Aufpreis, Parken ohne Kosten am Haus. Pool vor dem Hotel am Parkplatz, wer wirklich Abkühlung braucht. "Preisgünstiges und gutes Hotel"
Aufgund der Nähe zum Flughafen verkehren hier vorwiegend Geschäftsreisende. Zimmer: Sind sehr sauber und ausreichend groß für 4 Personen (2E2K mit 2 QS-Betten), das Badezimmer hingegen ist recht eng, sodass man sich nur nacheinander morgens fertig machen kann. Frühstück: Ist für amerikanische Verhältnisse ausgesprochen luxuriös. Lediglich die Anzahl […] der Sitzplätze - gerade für Familien - ist sehr begrenzt., weswegen man Wartezeiten in Kauf nehmen muss, wenn man gemeinsam und im Sitzen frühstücken möchte. Lage: Zwischen Highway und SF-Bay, Start- und Landebahn des Airport sind greifbar nahe. Es empfiehlt sich für eine ruhige Nacht Zimmer zur Bucht zu wählen. Strand ist übrigens nicht vorhanden, sondern lediglich "Watt" vor dem Hotel (auf Google-Maps sieht dies aus wie Sandstrand). Anbindung: Hotel bietet kostenlosen Shuttleservice zum Flughafen, weswegen wir versucht waren, per BART vom Flughafen aus in die Stadt zu gelangen. Da die Zugfahrt für Familie jedoch sehr teuer ist (keine Rabatte!), haben wir uns für das Auto entschieden: entgegen anderslautender Aussagen in Reiseführern und Hotels existieren günstige Parkplätze z.B. in Fishermens Wharf für 10$/Tag. Aber auch 35$/Tag für eine Tiefgarage sind auf jeden Fall günstiger als der BART-Transfer (wohlgemerkt: für VIER Personen!). Personal: Sehr freundlich, knapp und präzise. Allerdings nicht auf Urlaubsgäste, sondern eher auf Geschäftsreisende eingerichtet (wenig Tipps für die Stadt). Sonstiges: Der unbeheizte Pool liegt zum Highway und lädt daher nicht unbedingt zum längeren Verweilen ein. Dieser ist jedoch sehr sauber. Mehr

Liegt sehr nahe und gut erreichbar am Flughafen! Als Ausgangspunkt aber zu weit auserhalb! Fuer die erste Nacht jedoch super und fair im Preis!

Direkt südlich von Int. Airp. SFO, mit Shuttleservice, schöne Zimmer, grosser Pool, gutes Frühstück, empfehlenswertes Restaurant direkt bei Hotel. Diejenigen Zimmer ohne Blick zum Pool sehen Bay mit Flugzeugen im Anflug. Kein Fluglärm. Ausserhalb Hotel keine Läden etc. daher Auto nötig; Parkplatz kostenlos.

"Perfect for what we needed"
The rates were reasonable for the 11 of us. The location, just across from our convention hotel (Hyatt REgency) was perfect. The staff were lovely, the breakfast was fine. The only sour note: The Internet access was appalling. So slow that many pages refused to load at all. I wound up using my phone instead. "Good Value"
Good value hotel close to airport. Not in the luxury end of the market but if you want to base for a couple of nights in a reasonable hotel with fair rates, this is a great hotel. We would use this hotel again.

We asked for a room which faced the San Fran Bay but had some slight noise from aircraft taking off which they warned us about. The bathroom could have been bigger for the size of the room and it had a bad auto-sensor for the light that would turn on/off about every 15-20 minutes. "Close to airport and short drive to San Francisco"
We stopped for a couple of days in San Francisco on our way to Hawaii to see our son. Hotels in SF were much more expensive but since we had a rental car, we decided to stay at this location, which was a 20 minute drive to downtown. The hotel had free parking which am a huge difference, a decent free breakfast and easy to get to.

"Hotel that needs a lot of improvement"
First the room is way too expensive for what you get ,stayed on the first floor and as you walk through the hallway going to your room you could smell dust and the room wasnt well ventilated, so i kept coughing that night wouldnt stay here again and would not recommend it to people with allergies. "Be Careful at Pocking Lot-Don't stay this hotel"
I lost my bag in my car which parked at backyard parking lot. Someone broken my driver side back window and stolen my bag but the hotel didn't say anything about their responsibility. They didn't have cctv. Please be careful if you stay this hotel.

"Excellant place to stay"
The Holiday Inn Express San Francisco Airport South is the place to stay . Especially parksleep&fly. As my so and I fly often to East coast. Excellant staff and clean room, comfortable beds. Excellant restaurant nearby.
"No help with your luggage, not very friendly staff"
After my long 17 hours total of flight time, looking forward to stretch in a full lenght bed for overnight stop over. I and my 7 year old son arrived at the Hotel after 8 pm checked in and I ask the desk if there is somebody to help me with my 3 big luggages and I was told "we don't have a bell boy here" she didn't even say it nicely so rude and kind […] of insulting me for asking the help. She never even attemp to give me a helping hand. Bad guest service I will never come back to that hotel. Mehr

The hotel was conveniently located about 25 mins drive to San Francisco. Had a good selection of restaurants near by, although an Indian restaurant (kabul afgan) was recommended by hotels.com, we went there abt 9:45 even though there were still people eating inside they refused to give us a table, bare in mind it was a Saturday night. we ended up eating […] at el torioto, great service! On check in, they gave me the room next to the lobby. I requested they switch me to a quiteter room and they did immediately (excellent service). Other room was quiet. Beds comfortable. Good breakfast (eggs, sausage, pancakes, cereal, danishes etc). Recommend this hotel.

Large room, nice microwave, and refrigerated. Breakfast was ok, but cereal was stale. But everything else was good. staffe was nice, helpful. Con-tried to plug in my phone and iPad, every plug either did not work or there was a strang buzzing sound coming from the plug. Online pictures were much nicer than the actual hotel. My room was pretty run down. Curtains did not work well and the heating and AC did not work. The front desk told me to open the window if my room was too hot. "Room Service" from the detached restaurant could not be billed to the room and food was not good. Would not stay there again. We only stayed one night while in transit from San Francisco to Spokane. However the pickup from the airport was convenient, the staff were efficient and courteous. The breakfast was excellent with a good variety of foods. Overall although it was a very brief stay we have no complaints

We had a nice stay here. The room was clean and the continental breakfast was well taken care of by the staff. My only compliant is that parking was very limited. Not sure if there was a convention or what, but we couldn't find a parking spot. Otherwise, fine for just spending one night. Overall the hotel was a good experience. Just afew small things that were not so convenient was the bathroom door was in the way of the toilet and was hard to move around. The Holiday Inn Express San Francisco Airport South is the place to stay after being at Mills-Peninsula Medical Center. Hotels.com and the Hotel were able to make changes to our reservation during my fiance's hospitalization. The hotel even went the extra mile and gave us the original rate and room after finding out that my fiance had to stay in the […] hospital an extra day after the first change. Their warmth and consideration make this the place to stay. We would be happy to stay here again when we are up in the Bay Area. Mehr
"First Holiday Inn Express below expectations"
The air conditioning in the room did not begin to cool the room - virtually no air flow. The old double beds were far too small for 2 people and no cots were allowed to supplement because that would constitute a fire hazard. Uncomfortable!!!!! Sunday breakfast was the same hours as weekdays, ending at 9:30, so at 9:00 there was such a stampede that […] there was no room to turn around in the breakfast room and nowhere to sit anywhere. My girlfriend and I stayed only for one night and I could say that the stay was good. Although the room and the pool are not as big as the pitures shows you on the website. The breakfast was ok and the only annoying thing in the morning was this lady that interrupted our sleep 3 times for room service! The check out time was at 12 and last time she […] knocked was like at 11:00am. Another thing is that she would only knock twice and say"room service" then she would open th door right away, its rude when someone does this to you.she never knows what kind of situation you could be in! Initially we wanted to stay in downtown SF for our family vacation but the prices were way to high. We chose this hotel because it was on the bay and had a swimming pool for the kids. We were a little disappointed that we were right off of the highway but it ended up being okay. Our room was clean with the exception of the bathroom fan breaking our […] first night. We were told that somebody would come fix it but that never happend so our showers were pretty uncomfortable. The free breakfast was difinetly a plus with a family of 4 and the food wasn't too bad either. Basic stay, above average breakfast. Pool located in front of hotel in the middle of the parking lots. Strange place for a pool. Maybe this is why nobody used it all day. Clean rooms.
