Mustafa & Ice were the most helpful personnel. When asked about sites &/or transportation options, they both went above & beyond. Other front desk personnel did not know AND did not attempt to find out for us. It seemed as though it would inconvenience them - aren't they there to "assist" guests???

The hideabed needs replacing.....it was very uncomfortable.The atrium and guest noise outside the room was extremely loud most of the night into the early morning......a wedding reception was held and there were guest outside of their rooms, in our corridor and running up and down until at least 2 am. Breakfast was great.....

The hotel is up to date and comfortable. The manager's reception and made to order breakfast make this hotel well worth the money. Overall it was a great stay.

Very convenient location. Nice rooms, beautiful atrium.

It was my last evening with my husband for 6 weeks. I had such a nice time! It was easy access to the Airport and so we got to sleep in, too! We did get lost once but, that was just a misunderstanding on my husbands part. We will return with our children.

If one were to rate a hotel by the really important things. Sleeping comfort would be right up there. After all when away from your home it is often hard to go to sleep. There was no such trouble at this hotel the beds are so comfortable. Well rested every night. Then add to that rest the most fabulous continental breakfast with the most courteous staff […] you could ever meet. Mehr

The location of this hotel is great. Close to the airport and Mall of America. Complimentary shuttles were wonderful. Restaurant in hotel was not too pricey and extremely fancy. The pool could be warmer, more jets work in the hottub, and the steam room didn't work. Overall, FABULOUS HOTEL!

We paid for 3 people in our room. Had to request blankets. They "ran out" of pillows. Put our room above the band/wedding party. Had to call the desk 3times to tell them to turn music down. Woody's for dinner. Good food, but barely warm. Omlets were good.

We thought it was going to be a bed queen, well no it was a bedroom suite. Free breakfast, free happy hour, laundry area, vending area, bar, restaurant, and nice staff. I really recommend if you have kids, they have a very nice pool area, sauna, jacuzzi, steam room, and the relaxing area was great. This is close to the moa.

I thought the hotel was very nice, clean and easy to get to. The breakfast was a cook to order breakfast and it was fresh, so we thought it was very good; however, the furnishings in the room were looking pretty shabby and the sofa sleeper in the suit was very uncomfortable and should have been replaced quite some time ago. One of the nicest indoor layouts I have seen for a Embassy. Very Relaxing and lush feeling.

Very nice and clean Hotel and easy access to everything and to the airport. Very nice about taking and picking us up from the airport. Love the breakfast! Will stay again.

Was happy with the hotel and personnel. Only complaint was the noise. Seemed to have pretty thin walls but I would stay there again because of the delicious breakfast and location. Hotel was very cooperative with all of our requests. I was also pleased with how Hotels.com worked with the hotel for us for any special requests.

The hotel was extremely neat, clean and orderly!

The hotel is very nice. I have stayed there in the past, and never had any problems. It has been a few years since I have stayed and my only complaint is that the sofa sleeper bed in the room I stayed in was horrible quality. Was very disappointed with how high quality everything else is but that. Also the thermostat in the room did not work, there […] were no instructions, and when called down to the front desk for help, nothing was done. I remember this hotel being better than this. Mehr

The shuttle service to and from the Mall of America was very convenient as we had to do no driving while down there. However, when we used the shuttle on Saturday we were told that the service ran until 10:00pm that night. When we were dropped off on Sunday we were not told of any different pick up times. When we missed the shuttle at 7:25 I called […] the hotel and they informed me that the next shuttle would be there in about 30-45 minutes. We waited another hour and I called them back only then to be informed that there were no more shuttles that night. So after waiting in the cold with my 3 children, one of whom is 10 months old, we ended up paying a taxi to bring us back to the hotel. I never got an apology or an explanation as to why we weren't informed of the different shuttle times on the weekend and as to why I was informed that the shuttle was going to come back and pick us up. Maybe have the hours posted somewhere or explain to passengers when they get off when the last shuttle is for the night?? Mehr

We really enjoyed our stay here. The manager's reception and breakfast buffet make staying here feel like a bargain. It was also nice to be able to walk over to the light rail to get a ride downtown. Next time we come to the cities, we will most likely stay here again.

Internet should be free at the price you pay

There are definite pros and cons with this hotel....depending on what you are after. Pros - easy access to Mall of America, big two room suites, comfortable beds, free manager's reception with unlimited free drinks, and a GREAT breakfast (made to order eggs, pancakes, waffles, anything you could want) Cons - rooms are dated, the bathrooms are small […] (not enough room for two people to get ready), the on-site restaurant is expensive, not enough room to sit at the manager's reception - we had to sit on a ledge adjacent to the bar because there were so many people who brought their kids along to the reception. Don't get me wrong - kids are great but when a couple wants to go and have a drink - you don't want to have kids running around. We asked for a quiet room and stayed on the east side. It was quiet. We would recommend if the above cons aren't a problem for you. Mehr

We always enjoy staying at Embassy Suites whether it be Mpls, Omaha or Green Bay, and yes we do recommend your facilities. Larry & Dee Lenz

So we have stayed here twice in the last month. Both times our room, which were non smoking, were filled with the smell of smoke. I am not hypersensitive to the scent but it was too much for me. So each time we moved our rooms but with two kids (both under 2.5) it's quite a pain. I think we'll be staying at the Embassy Suites in West Bloomington going […] forward it's only 4-7 miles west. We wanted to view a presentation from a laptop, and could not change the input on the TV. We called and they said that is so people do not watch their own movies. Of course, because we checked and some movies were $15-$20. Sometimes we do watch our own movies, but they should NOT determine what we do with the TV in the room we PAID for. Oh well, will […] NOT stay at Embassy again, Hyatt place is waaay more comfortable and tech friendly. Mehr

PROs: *Loved the nightly Manager's Reception (free drinks and snacks) *Heard no noise from other rooms, but hotel wasn't exactly full *Fast (glass) elevators *Pleasant atrium *Great contl. breakfast *Pool (saltwater?), whirlpool, sauna, and even a steam room *TV in both rooms of suite *Our southerly room had no noise from northerly airport *Light Rail […] line right out in the street *Nice gift shop *Thick towels *Overall friendly staff CONs: *Found old, used coffee pouches inside water tank of room coffee maker (nasty!) *Some stains on floor and walls of room *Didn't learn the A/C was off for the season until check-out - (spent night listening to noisy HVAC blower that did nothing) *No effective bathroom venting *There was a tray of dirty dishes in hall outside our room at check-in I agree with other reviews that the pull-out sofa mattress is useless. (Every spring is easily felt on both sides of mattress.) Granted we don't go to hotels that often, but for us our PROs definitely outweighed our CONs. Mehr
