We paid extra for a corner suite thinking there would be less noise from the other guests, but instead we heard everything that went on in the hallway as well as the constant tapping from the room next to us or it might have been above us. It went on for over an hour and drove me crazy. The staff was very polite.

Great deal for the big OU/Texas weekend and the DART made our trip to the game very convenient. Will defiantly stay there next year. My only complaint is the girls at the front counter had on Texas shirts. lol

Excellent hotel. First time customer and will be staying there again on future visits. Very impressed with accomodations and all staff.

The stay was a pleasant one. The best part for my daughter was the heated pool.

We haven't stayed here in years and the hotel is still in very good condition. Check in was efficient, but it was late at night, room was nice - however, no makeup mirror (I thought that was standard now!!). Also temperature control was very hard to work - it kept switching to heat even when I put it as low as it would go!! Very hot all night. My biggest […] complaint was when I tried to get breakfast Saturday morning. I called for over 45 minutes more than 5 or 6 times and no one ever even picked up the phone!! We finally went down to restaurant and expected a full crowd but we were literally the only guests at the buffet! I don't understand why they couldn't answer the phone - very frustrating!! We attended a meeting of over 300 chiropractic doctors and I think most were not that impressed with hotel Meeting rooms were nice, good coffee, water service, etc. but I tried to buy a coke at the front desk and the one desk clerk couldn't even check us out because he was checking in guests! Again, under staffed!! They need to have a few more employees on duty when there is a big convention like that!! Mehr

Hotel is oldbut in great shape. The beds are not very comfortable but will so for one or two nights.

Area was nice; room was on a corner area and tiny! The people working there were friendly and helpful. The room was a little worn, though clean. The hotel was very loud, but it was ou-Texas weekend so a little expected.

They have severe plumbing problems. Never did get HOT water, just luke warm and then only one day out of three.

We come to Dallas from OKC about once every couple of months. This is the second time we have stayed at the Hyatt Summerfield Suites in Richardson and will definitely stay there again. Understand this is not like other hotels. This hotel is set up more like an apartment complex with buildings broken up. The first time we stayed there, we booked a […] studio room. Upon check-in, they said our room was not ready and we would be upgraded to a suite for no additional charge. The room is very modern, but comfortable. The breakfast was very good with a big selection that included eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, toast, bagels, fruit, cereal, milk, OJ, AJ, coffee, etc. All of this for no additional charge. My only complain (if I had to come up with one) is that the "fitness center" is two treadmills, two bikes and an eliptical machine in a very small room at the end of building four next to the laudry room. I was very satisfied with my Hotel stay. However, I did not like the overall location. It was too far from downtown Dallas. I wish the location a little closer. Driving in Dallas is always a pain.

I went to Richardson for a conference and I happened to pick this hotel for convenience and all I can say was it was lovely. The staff were very helpful and the room was fantastic. I will stay there again if I need to and tell others about this hotel.

We've stayed here twice since this became the Hyatt. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the rooms while not fabulous are nice enough. The only complaint I have is the towells, which were mis-matched and more on par for a Holiday Inn Express.

My Family and I spent Thanksgiving holidays at the hotel. Besides the hotel being very nice and from every point of view - clean, well appointed, excellent rooms that are very comfortable, well maintained, looks like recently built or at least recently renovated - the service was outstanding. The first night we experiences a couple of minor problems […] and the staff was spot on with their response. It is one thing to stay in a nice property. It is quite another to have staff that exceeds expetations each time! Mehr

The room was clean, but could have stayed in another hotel for the same price and had a coffe pot, microwave, and a bed that we could have gotten a good night's sleep. Restaurant was closed by 6:30 the night we got there. Only the bar/grill (mostly bar) was open. Room was very small, no where to sit but the bed (there was a chair, but no room to move […] it). We did feel safe and it was conveniently located for our business. Mehr

This was a perfect place to stay for a quick on and off the interstate. Hotel was very nice and people were very friendly. Will stay here again on my return trip in four months.

I just would have liked to have had a small refrigerator in the room.

My husband and I recently stayed at this hotel and it was a very nice hotel indeed, BUT the water in the room is 5 dollars so DONT open it....The room service is very expensive (they charge a 2 dollar fee to deliver and a 21% gratuity tax)...AND we had a few charges on our debit card that should not have stayed on it. It took almost a week for the money […] to be refunded. Overall it was a very nice hotel, just eat and drink elsewhere and WATCH your debit card transactions! Mehr

Housekeeping was very slow to fill simple room requests, we called around 8am for a change of bedding, but didn't get it until we called again at 3pm. Even worse, the concierge forgot to schedule the taxi to the airport we requested for the following day, luckily we were able to find a taxi on short notice at 5am or we would've missed our flight

The hotel was very nice and the rooms were clean. Atmosphere was comforting. Convienent to access and so close to Dallas! When I checked in I gave them my id and credit card, my room was pre-paid through hotels.com. I also grabbed a diet dr.pepper from the little "store" next to the front desk check in. The man (a young black guy) took my info and charged […] my card for the soda. Then he said that its and asked me if I wanted a receipt and of course I said yes. Then I asked him where the elevators were that I had never been their and he pointed them to me. When I got on the elevator I realized I didnt get a room key! lol. He thought I had just come to buy a soda and ride on the elevators!!! I said I needed to check in. A lady very slowly helped me get into my room after I visited the front desk for a second time, she finally did check me in and then informed me that there was no water... and I could use the bottle water (ozarka marked $5.00!) for no charge! lol thanks. I was late taking my conference call as it was a very long check in... the lady was also on the phone while helping me. I checked in around 1pm so the hotel was very slow. Other than this beginning, the hotel was very nice, close parking and clean. I would recommend it, but dont expect any genius at the front desk!! Mehr

good location

Nice sized room (studio king) with nice ameneties. Expensive room service. No problems using wifi, nice flat screen tv with hbo, ihome, & comfy bed. Computerized restaurant locater in lobby was helpful. Free parking.

I have a nice experience there. The only bad thing was I previously paid on Hotels.com then the hotel charged me as well.. they are refunding my money but that was an inconvienience for me.

I loved price locationand most of all STAFF

The staff is exceedingly professional and helpful. This is a great value for the business person. The hotel did not feel right with my children for some reason. I probably would not stay here again with them. But for any other trip...Fantastic hotel,location and price. Do it!
