Bewertet von einem Hotels.com-Gast am 21. Jan. 2013Wir waren nun schon zum dritten Mal aus geschäftlichen Gründen hier und hatten bisher noch keine Beanstandungen. Zimmer und Bad sind immer sauber gewesen. In den Zimmern sind hinreichend Steckdosen vorhanden um auch mit mehreren Geräten gleichzeitig arbeiten zu können. WiFi ist kostenlos und funktioniert gut. Das Frühstück ist typisch nordamerikanisch und somit insbesondere für Deutsche nicht unbedingt ein Genuss, aber es gibt nebem dem Plastikbesteck imerhin auch echtes Besteck und guten Kaffee. Zu Fuß sind verschiedenen Restaurants (Fastfoodrestaurants) erreichbar, Abendessen ist also auch gesichert. Der Poolbereich ist zwar nicht groß aber sauber und im ebenfalls vorhandenen, herlich warmen Wirlpool kann man sehr schön entspannen.

Bewertet von einem Hotels.com-Gast am 6. Jan. 2013Sehr angenehm, das Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich, die Zimmer super eigerichtet und alles picobello sauber. Das dazugehörige Restaurant White Spot ist auch sehr zu empfehlen. Die Lage erlaubt fast alles per Fuss zu erkunden.

Ausstattung und Sauberkeit sowie Zimmergröße gut. Für kanadische Verhältnisse umfangreiches Frühstückbuffett im Preis inbegriffen. Hotelumgebung wirkt wie Little-Asia.

Das Hotel ist prima, wenn man einigermaßen zentral in Downtown Vancouver wohnen will. Die Eingangshalle ist modernisiert und hell, die Zimmer eher altmodisch. Der Fitnessraum ist klein und schlicht, aber gut nutzbar und 24 h geöffnet. Ohne Einschränkung empfehlenswert, wenn man dort nur zum Schlafen ist und sonst viel unternimmt. very nice luxurious small hotel. Great location close to bc place restaurants etc. make sure you get a room facing the street the rear faces a very ugly construction site that is very close. Had we been there during a weekday the noise might have been pretty intense. The front desk people are very young and not very consistent ranging from great to […] almost useless. For this hotel being classified as luxury I think is misleading. there is no pool, the gym is tiny and was not able to go work out at all due to it being full all the time. the service that we received was rude and very snobby. "ran the Sun Run so close to BC Place"
My only complaint was when I checked in at 4:30 I asked if it would be possible to get a later check out time than 1200 and was immediately told NO. As I was running the Sun Run and meeting up with my run group after at BC Place to chat and see how everyone did and not have to rush. He then said I would have to check with the front desk the next morning. […] So on the way out Sunday before 8am I asked and they relunctantly said 1230 at the latest. It would have been nice to have had time to enjoy the hotel amenities and go to the hot tub to soak for a few minutes to relax the muscles but time didn't permit it so showered and left just before 1230. I have stayed at this hotel several times for the Sun Run and a later check out of 1pm was never a problem before. Other than this little issue everything else was great and would book there again. My family stayed at this hotel for a short weekend getaway. The hotel was a short Skytrain ride from the Amtrak station and very conveniently located. The staff was great, the rooms were clean, and the beds were comfortable. The staff deserve 5/5; most friendly and helpful in all areas. The restaurant is superb. Best seafood linguine that I've ever had and I've had lots of fresh seafood of all types in Alaska, BC and Yukon. It is a ten minute walk to Roundhouse/Yaletown and a couple of minutes to Stadium/Chinatown which are not a problem for most travellers. We liked being downtown but not right on the busy retail streets. Our view of the Rogers Arena roof was interesting, especially at night, but not a lovely water view, which might have been nice. The Aveda hair care and personal products were a hit with my teenage daughter. The beds and bed linens were quite comfortable. Our room was somewhat small for […] two beds but not nearly as cramped as some others where we have stayed. The steam and sauna were not crowded and pleasant to use.The staff was helpful and welcoming and we liked being able to park so easily, taking our car in and out ourselves. Great service from the front desk upon check in- friendly and helpful. Concierge also very helpful with walking directions to the Saddledome (although it was a long walk- about 1/2 hr!) "Great stay with minor hiccups"
The Georgian Court offers a great, affordable stay close to downtown Vancouver. The front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful from check-in to check-out. The dollar for dollar exchange rate was an unexpected bonus. The hotel bar and lounge offered a nice sense of ambiance when I didn't want to venture too far for a drink. There were a couple […] of minor issues that kept this hotel from a 5 star rating. One of the elevators was out of service so it was a little slow going up and down (but I was on vacation so I had the time to spare). The main issue was the construction next door that started early in the morning. The hotel did supply ear plugs that helped me get a couple of extra hours of sleep. There was also an issue with another guest knocking on my door early one morning. The hotel heard about it and took care of a day of parking and sent up a box of chocolates (Lindor Truffles solve all of life's problems). Overall this was a great place to stay and much nicer than the hotels I typically stay in. I highly recommend staying here if you need a place near BC Place and Rogers Center. "Great location for the concert at Rogers"
Very nice hotel, good size rooms with comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. One elevator didn't work which meant a short wait at times, not a huge issue for us. The restaurant had wonderful food and the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking garage is a bit tight. Great to be so close to the arena and stadium as well as many shops and […] restaurants within walking distance. I will book this hotel again next time I have an event in Vancouver. We arrived from Sydney and did a 3 Day Lay over in Vancouver. The Hotel was booked online on the recommendations of the TripAdvisor reviews.Well what a very pleasant surprise....
