Best Western Plus Airport East/Expo Center - Louisville

this hotel looks old and poorly maintained from the outside, but inside it is new and very, very clean. The staff are friendly and helpful, especially the front desk. We were concentrating our trip in The Highlands and this hotel was a straight shot for all our destinations. I would definitely stay here again.

I was surprised to find a room at the last minute in a location so near the airport. The price was perfect as well. What I didn't like was the lack, or the seeming lack, of eateries nearby. All I saw was fast food. The attached restaurant closed earlier than anticipated which caused me to go in search of food. I was very pleased with everything. Very attractive lobby and breakfast area as well as a nice room. I was also very happy with the price.

not the cleanest but not unacceptably dirty. no room service but mexican restaurant attached had good food at reasonable prices. free breakfast but didn't stay to rate it. desk attendant was young and unprofessional. ok stay for business traveler. close to airport.

The hotel was nice .I would stay there again.The location wasn't as awesome as I would have wished for but the hotel itself was great.The price was GREAT !

This hotel is very nice with a very friendly, service- oriented staff. The room was very clean and nice. I plan to stay here again next month when I return to Louisville. Rates were very reasonable.

Exceeded all expectations for the price we paid! The room was large and clean! The lobby was remodeled and inviting. The staff were very friendly and the attached restaurant had good food and was also reasonably priced.

This hotel was very clean and comfortable. The staff was super nice and helpful. The continental breakfast was there like promised, but it wasn't as grand as I thougt it would be. It was cereal, waffles that you heated yourself, muffins, and deviled eggs. The faucet in the shower made you choose hot or cold, no happy medium. We really, really enjoyed this hotel. It was clean (and I.m picky) The price was excellent and the hotel really was nice. The breakfast area was really enjoyable and relaxing, much better than any we have ever stayed at. We are defenently staying again next time we're in Louisville, which is usually 2-3 times a year. I would give it an A plus.

It is located right on the interstate and the room was quite noisey, but for the price, I could tolerate it. Certainly clean and adequate.

Like the other reviews stated, this hotel may not be in the best part of Louisville but it certainly isn't in the worst either. It was perfect for us, (in town for a wedding) easy to get to different parts of town. The room was very clean. Great deal for those who aren't going to be spending all the time at the hotel.

This hotel was the MOST disappointing hotel experience I've ever had with Hotels.Com. The exterior is clearly worn and the neighborhood was questionable. Inside you could tell they had done quite a bit to upgrade the features and amenities. I checked in and the distracted desk clerk gave us the keys to the room. When we got upstairs we found a well […] appointed, but unsuitable room. I had specifically reserved a high-end non-smoking 2 x Double suite. They gave me a King Bed. This is usually fine, but not for my buddy and me. When I went back downstairs I was informed by the same dstracted (and now defensive) clerk that there were no Rooms available that met my needs. When it was clear there was no immediate resolution available, I called the Hotels.Com Customer Service Team (CST) and they got involved. Once the CST Rep called the Best Western, suddenly they said I could have a 2 x Double Suite, but it would have to be a smoking suite. My saving grace was that my CST Rep (Janice) was fabulous. Once she realized that this hotel had overbooked her client, she immediately found a nearby replacement hotel that was even better in quality and location. Of course it was more expensive, but well worth it. And because the original hotel had violated their reservation, the CST rep was able to give me a partial credit for the difference. Once we arrived at the new hotel and it was all in order for us (Thanks again, Janice), we spent the rest of our 4 night stay in Louisville, joking about how much we appreciated the management at Best Western Plus Airport East/Expo Center for their failure to meet their obligations for my reservation. I would recommend against ever staying their if you can help it. No way this was a 3 star establishment. Further, if anyone ever has a problem with a HOTELS.COM reservation, do not hesitate to call the CST. You are important, because their reliability as a company is at stake! Mehr

Affordable hotel. A little out dated but clean. The bed was comfortable. Heater/ air conditioner a little noisy. Skip the on site Mexican Restaurant. The free breakfast isn't worth it, plan on eating out.

This place is not in the best of neighborhoods, but don't let that detract from staying here. My room was very clean, the staff was very professional and the hotel was was well maintained. I would stay here again..

Nice hotel, close to the Watterson which makes it easy to get around the city. We enjoyed the hotel and our stay, staff was nice and place was clean.

Nice and clean hotel. Friendly staff. Stayed there for 4 nights so got little tired of same breakfast. Reasonable price. Near to highway 264. In hotel Mexican restaurant was good too.

Nice and clean great for the price

We had a handicap accessible room . The bathroom was easy to use. The shower head leaked so I reported it. Other than that it was fine. The decor and amenities of the hotel was excellent. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, We would definitely choose to stay there again.

Hotel ok for the price. I select it because the proximity to the airport and the bar-rest. But, no bar when arrived, it was under remodelation for several weeks before my arrival and it wasn't advised anywere.

This is an older hotel very close to down town. My room was newly remodeled, clean and well maintained. I will definitely look it up next time I'm in Louisville. Room included Iron, ironing board, clock radio, cable TV, free wifi, continental breakfast.

Great price for a best western, but the loud a/c and very small breakfast for the size of the hotel make it less desirable of a location to stay. I was up all night because I couldn't sleep and the loud room a/c didn't help. Would recommend the hotel at the price point if nothing else was higher rated, but look somewhere else first.
