Ramada Fairview Heights - Fairview Heights

The only thing that bothered me about the stay is that the fridge in the room was not on when we checked in. So, it was stinky. It cooled down relatively fast, but I still think it should have been on in the first place!

Only issue I had here was upon entry the Lobby Smells BAD! With the TGIF next door I am not sure if syrup has fermented in the walls or if they just dont ever Mop the lobby. Smell was so rotten I choose not to eat Breakfast at this place. Otherwise room was rather comfortable, TV sucks need a Flat Screen. Bonus for the San Francisco Soap Company Shampoo […] and soap. Hotel is extremely outdated. But you get what you pay for.

The staff was very friendly.

We were very pleased with our stay.

This hotel was great for the price. Our room was very clean, and even had a microwave and mini fridge. The comedy club inside the club was an awesome time. The staff is very friendly and they even call you in your room to see if you're pleased with the room. Would definitely come back again.

Shower head was way too low, no bathroom fan, noisy hallway. Would have liked to have real coffee creamer, half & half or french vanilla, and some eggs for breakfast would have been nice. Would stay here often if they had special business rate.

I had higher expectations of the Ramada Inn. My first impression of the entry way and the lounge was positive, however once we walked into our room, it was not at all what I expected. It was dark, dingy, and did not have modern day decor. Perfect location right off the interstate. Very convenient if you want to stay outside the city of St. Louis. Breakfast was good and hotel was nice.

The breakfast was really good. Can't beat a fresh Waffle maker in the morning. Staff was really nice and helpful. Really close to the Mall and lots of other stores. Lots of restraunts around.

Very disappointing. Staying here was like staying at a motel.

We went to a play then shopping at the mall and did not get to our hotel until 9:00.. Everything was great. We had two rooms next to each other.

The breakfast dining area was abit messy on several mornings ( tables not clean, floors sticky) Out of coffee or coffee cool- time was about 8:30 am.

Old Hotel. Needs remodeling. Ain't no Hampton Inn!

Clean and comfortable. Great location for my needs. I really like that the bathroom has the sink and mirror in it instead of out in the open like most places. My only complaint is that the pool closes way too soon.

Wanted hotel be St. Louis and thought this was close.

The hotel is close to a lot of restaurants, a mall and a movie theater. TGI Fridays in the same building. Room was very clean. Bed was very comfortable and staff was great. The website says they have an indoor pool and outdoor pool. They will not open the outdoor pool anymore so you are stuck with the sauna of an indoor pool.

Hard bed, hard pillow, hallways felt like a sauna, elevator fits 4 people, I could go on and on, but it's not worth the effort.

Hotel should be rated 2 star, not 3. Shabby carpet, old TV, not much for breakfast compared to similar motels. Having said that, we did have a very nice desk clerk who acknowledged my presence at the desk even though she was on the phone. Room was quiet and beds comfortable.

The hotel was clean the staff was awesome But the shower didnt have enough pressure and the tub filled up when we took a shower.But my husband fixed it. The best part of the Ramada staff was their honesty.My daughter left her cell phone & her laptop there & we called & Beverly checked ,called us back in just a few minutes to say We have it. The word "Ramada" brought to mind a better hotel than what we stayed in. Upon arrival the lobby was very nice and updated, once in the room you were greeted with a dirty, hot, smelly room. There was absolutely NO water pressure in the shower. The toilet stopped up upon first use and the shower did not drain. Worst sleep of my whole trip!! Do Not stay […] here!! Mehr

This Ramada Inn has a nice lobby but the rooms are showing their age. In our bathroom there was some black markings on the tiles where it had been repaired. We did enjoy the use of their outdoor pool, which was very nice, their indoor pool looked good too, but we didn't use it. The complementary breakfast was satisfactory, but nothing special. We had been traveling in the car for 36 hours so this hotel was a welcome sight. The rate was great and it was quite a steal when compared to the quality of the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. The pool was open late and very enjoyable. The location offered several dining choices within walking distance from the hotel as well as a restaurant […] on site. We were greated by a very friendly hostest and offered fresh baked good when we arrived. Our room was a little dated but it was clean. The bed was really firm but large and the pillows were soft. We thought it was a great hotel for the price.

The location of the hotel was very convenient to dining and shopping. I was disappointed, though, that the hotel did not have coffee available all day. Also, the hotel needed some updating.

My room had no hotel it was cold and I had to go to the front desk about the room numerous times then the power went out and I had to repack and move 8 rooms down with three children to a different room further away from the pool not as good as experience as last time.

It did not feel like we were lodging in a Ramada Inn or a 3 star hotel during our stay. The hotel lobby and hotel service were the only positives. The room (and bathroom)itself was less than acceptable! I don't even want to go into details, but we ended up checking out early. From the moment we walked in we knew we had made the wrong choice in a hotel. The front desk was understaffed therefore there was a long line of guests waiting to check in. We left and came back an hour later. We were then checked into a room that allowed smoking.....(not as requested)...the hallway even reeked. They were able to change us to a non […] smoking area, however the rooms were not as clean and up to the standards of other hotels we have recently stayed in. We will be visiting the area several times a year, however, will be pickier about our choice of accomadations in the future. Mehr

Old and dirty. Did not have a lounge as advertised or breakfast cafe either. Carpet Fresh was the cleaning agent used through out the hotel. Could not open the window for air. Bath tub would not drain properly. After two days there, I moved to another hotel for the rest of my stay.

Rooms were filthy, bathroom had hair everywhere and only 3 hand towels to dry off with. reported this all to the front desk....

I knew going in that this was an older hotel, but due to the location I was willing to try it. Upon my arrival the staff was very kind and friendly. However, it took three trips back to the front desk to get a key to work to open our hotel room. On that third time we did get one of the two keys to work. Just decided to use the one and forget the other. […] The inside pool was cosmetically very old looking. At 10 am there were NO clean towels replaced from the previous day at either pool. The outside pool was very small. And, the inside pool door leading to the rest of the hotel would lock on us, so we had to bang on the door to get someone to let us out. (There was no key compartment to use to open the door.) We were not the only guest that experienced this problem. So overall it was a less than satisfactory stay. Mehr
