Wir haben uns für dieses Hotel entschieden, da es gute Bewertungen hat. Das Hotel war sehr sauber und günstig. Gratis Frühstück, Internet und Parkplatz. Das Hotel liegt 15 min. vom Flughafen entfernt und 15 min. bis zum French Quarter. Wir können das Hotel weiter empfehlen.

Room was comfortable and cool (AC worked well). Comfortable bed. Clean and large enough bathroom for two. Service folk were lovely and helpful. Descent location for taxis to and from Fairgrounds.

It was great with the exception of the road construction. Also wish a little closer to the French Quarter.

This is a very nice hotel to stay at if you are cruising from Port Orleans. The price is perfect, the rooms and bathrooms are very large and nicely decorated. It is the perfect size room for a family of 4. The courtyard is so welcoming. The rooms could use a good spring cleaning...the baseboards are very dusty. The breakfast was ok...it was very busy […] the morning we were there and there was not a bunch of food to choose from. If we every cruise from Port Orleans again, we will be staying at this hotel. I wish all hotel rooms were as nice as this one. Mehr

At first i was disappointed that this is actually a MOTEL not a hotel. It is an older motel. however, all the rooms overlook and awesome courtyard pool as is with traditional new orleans architechture. upon entering the room you could tell they have been remodeled recently. the beds were not pillow top but were comfortable nonetheless. the bathroom […] was very nice. the downside of this hotel is that their is road construction going on right now and its one of those hotels that you can see but you cant ever seem to get to. after we got our bearings it turned out to be a good location for us. right next to a big mall. also right next to veterans hwy which if you choose you can jump on that instead of the interstate to get to the airport. overall i would rate it at a good solid three. being an older motel the walls were thick as opposed to some of the new motels i've stayed in where the walls are incredibly thin. i would stay here again. the rooms, elevator's, and hallways smelled of urine. my rooms rug had holes beds were really small, tv remote wouldnt work right or well and the room did not have a microwave and My BIG thing the wi-fi would not work at all, I could not do my job at all. My friends had the same problem We will not ever go back to this place again VERY DISAPPOINTED […] . Mehr

The room was extremely clean. Extremely. The decor of the hotel and room were very up to date. The bathroom was HUGE!! The breakfast was ample for a hotel. There were 2 down sides to the room. The bed was worn out. No support and would roll to the middle and sink in. :( the other was the walls are very, very thin. We could hear everything in the next […] rooms and hallways. This is a very nice, clean, well-appointed, reasonably priced hotel. The staff was very helpful, pointing me to the delightful Frenchman Street entertainment district for lots of music venues and good food. It's only a short drive to all the tourist places I wanted to visit, with none of the parking and possible security hassles of actually staying […] in the Quarter. The only possible downside is the proximity to the Causeway, which wasn't a problem for me. I didn't plan to lounge around the pool and I had Navigator on my phone to guide through the spaghetti of on-ramps. Mehr

Good location only a few minutes away from all of the action. Room was okay being that there is so much going on in New Orleans that you will barely be in your room.

This was the loudest hotel I've ever stayed at. I could hear every conversation and belch from people in the neighboring rooms. One of the days the cleaning staff forgot to clean the bathroom altogether. The hotel looked nice from the outside, but my experience indicated otherwise.

I was more than pleased with my stay at this hotel. I found this hotel through Hotels.com which I had never used before and was a bit reluctant to book because I was not familiar with the Metairie area. The location is a challenge getting there the first time but I found the shortcut by using Veteran's Blvd and had no problems. The staff was very freindly […] and accomodating upon check in and during our stay. I referred it to my friends and 3 of them booked after me. This is the best kept secret in Metairie. Close to shopping centers and markets. Very clean, safe and nice area. We love this hotel and truly enjoyed our relaxing stay. We sat in the courtyard and enjoyed the beauty while reading. I hope this hotel is available when I return to this area next year so I can enjoy the amenities and beauty of the courtyard. Mehr

Most rooms are situated in a motel type, three storey outside walkways overlooking a courtyard. Outdoor pool centred in the courtyard. There is an elevator to the floors. Ground (1st) floor is convenient if you have a lot of luggage. Wasn't noisy but special weekends I imagine it would be. Room was clean and large. Breakfast consisted of cerals, yoghurt, […] scrabbled eggs, sausage gravey and biscuits, plus danish, toast jam. Some fruit or belgian waffle machine WOULD BE AN IMPROVEMENT. Difficult to find from Causeway Blvd. Suggest goggle or use GPS to get to the entrance to hotel. Feb. 2012 there are road improvements for the on ramp to 610 so there are detours. Mehr

This hotel was ok for how much we spent but another $25 a night would have been worth it to go somewhere else. The best part of the stay was the breakfast (according to my husband). The room did not look AT ALL like it showed online. I was expecting something nice and updated. The room felt old and gross when I first entered. It was a small room and […] the carpet was terrible. The neighborhood is not that great and its not that close to any attractions. The hotel staff was first class and very nice. I had reserved a king size bed online and when we got there they did not have any available. How does that happen!? Well the manager there (after some complaining) changed the room to a king for us. The shower in the room clogged up because the little lever that keeps the drain open would not stay by itself so I had to keep kicking it up to take a shower. The only problem we had with this hotel was the ongoing construction on the roads all around the hotel. It made it very inconvenient getting in and around. I really wish Metairie would get on the ball and get it finished already!!

Overall we were extremely pleased with this hotel. The staff was helpful, the room, grounds and lobby and hall areas were fresh, clean and well maintained. There is a shopping center a short distance away with an excellent supermarket, as well as a popular seafood restaurant. On the downside, the hotel is located on the edge of a light industrial area, […] and almost under the Causeway overpass. There are no walk to amenities except the shopping center and restaurant, so a car is almost a must. None of the rooms in the hotel have fridges or microwaves, and there was only one chair in our room, at the desk. The pool and patio areas are very pleasant, and it would have been nice to heat up a market item or carry home restaurant food in the room and enjoy it on the patio. Mehr

The Ramada Metairie is a cozy and comfortable establishment. Very affordable and the rooms are top notch with a French inspired design. The rooms are spacious, beds are beyond comfortable, shower pressure is just right and very quite. I did not have much interaction with the staff but they appeared friendly enough. did not meet expectation, as I was lead to believe in pictures on website. Older property redone, maybe an old Days Inn. Internet was HORRIBLE! Staff was nice, but not very knowledgeable about the hotel itself or the neighborhood. Go not expect a lot, and you will be satisfied.

Nice hotel.

Comfortable bed. Nice room. Friendly staff.breakfast only average but complimentary so no complaint. Headed for beignets anyway.

I stayed for one night on business. The location is fantastic- plenty of restaurants and shopping. Even has a Whole Foods within 3 blocks! Highly recommend.

This was a nice hotel but a little overpriced in my opinion. The staff was very friendly and the outside pool and courtyard area were very nice. The room however was a little dated and the bed was not very comfortable. The HD TV did not have any HD channels and the breakfast was nothing special.

We were there for just one night and it definitely served the purpose for what we needed. Good hotel and short driving distance to tourist areas.

I have no complaints regarding our recent stay. The hotel is easy to get to and is just 15 minutes from the French Quarter. Our room was very clean and comfortable, the courtyard was charming, and the breakfast offered fresh scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, fresh fruit, pastries, cereal, juice and good coffee. I was expect more better breakfast which they do not have bacon. At least, it's warm meal! The blanket need extra one, I feel chili when AC/Heat isn't even use. I'm not comfortable to use Heat to turn on. Otherwise, I love their bathroom.

Enjoyed our visit, loved the help we got with the the restaurants.

For the price we paid, I was very dissapointed. The walls are paper thin. Our neighbors sounded like they were in our room getting ready @ 600am! The bathtub would not drain & by the time we finished showering our family, the tub was full of everyone's hair who had ever showered there. It was disgusting! The breakfast food was less than satisfactory. […] Our kids refused to eat anything & I don't blame them! I read all the reviews that were given & I don't know what the ones who gave positive remarks were thinking. Thank goodness we only had to stay one night before our cruise. Do yourself a favor & pay the extra money & stay somewhere nicer. Mehr

For an updated older hotel it was very nice. The WiFi was poor though. I would stay there again.

Hotel Staff was Amazing, very Friendly and Helpful. Room was starting to show its age, but comfortable and clean. I would stay there again if returning to New Orleans.

Definitely a three star hotel for the price of a one star hotel. Would stay again.

Very clean and nice area. Went for the BCS championship and it was 10 mins from Bourbon street. Too bad LSU lost but oh well.......this is a nice play to stay for the money

good location. easy in and out, access to New Orleans and restaurants in vicinity.

We went to NOLA for the Sugar Bowl and couldn't justify spending the $$ for staying in the quarter. Found this hotel. Room was clean and the staff is ****Super Friendly****. It is a little hard to get to and the area around it doesn't look great, but we felt safe there. Room was clean, bathroom was surprisingly nice, and the beds were comfortable. […] Has a pretty courtyard around the pool which would have been nice had the weather been warmer. Breakfast is 90% starch- pastries/bread/biscuits- would like to see more protein than just scrambled eggs. No fridge/microwave in the room means you can't even keep a soda cold/ heat up popcorn. 2 ice machines for the whole place, 1 was broken. Staff was great showing us how to get to the Quarter without breaking the bank (bus picks up 1 block away) though if you plan on staying out in the evening you will have to take a cab back (approx $20 from the quarter for 2 people) as the bus stops running around 9pm. Walls/floors seem thin/lack insulation as I could hear the people above and next to us taking their shower, using the facilites. Not a problem if you are a heavy sleeper, but I am not. Overall we were pleased with our stay and will plan on staying here again when we visit NOLA. Mehr

There was a lot of hair in the carpet and on the bathroom floor. We told the front desk and they sent someone to vaccuum, which helped a lot. Otherwise, room was nice, bed very comfortable.
