die anbindung mit den öffentlichen verkehrsmitteln zur innenstadt ist super. das frühstück sehr dürftig, aber daß es 24/7 kaffe und tee umsonst gibt, haben wir oft gern genutzt. der preis schlägt alles! dashotel hat seine besten zeiten schon hinter sich. aber für den preis ist es top.

Es ist wirklich so schön, wie sie beschreiben. Die grosszügige und einladende Lobby in der ersten Etage diente u.a. dem Weinempfang aller an diesem Tag anreisenden Gäste. Allerdings scheint die Zeit auf 17 bis 18 Uhr begrenzt zu sein. Eher als Ausnahme bekam ich später noch einen Gutschein für die Bar, die nicht ganz so nett ist, wie die Lobby. Beim Frühstück im benachbarten Bistro muss man wissen, was man wählt, um nicht vom Amerikanischen Geschmack überrascht zu werden.

Zu unserer Ueberraschung war alles viel kleiner, als es in den Bildern erscheint. Der Fotograf hat einen super Job gemacht. Dennoch ist das Hotel eine sehr gute Wahl. Allerdings hatten wir eine Suite. Wir haben das Zimmer-Service-Fruehstueck nie genutzt, da es genug guenstige und gute Alternativen in der unmittelbaren Umgebung gibt.

Es wäre prima, wenn die (Einzel)zimmer besser beleuchtet wären, zum Beispiel mit einer Leselampe.

"Short but Sweet Stay"
The stay was excellent. Room was clean and comfortable. Bed was super comfortable. Good breakfast selection included in room rate for stay. Staff was helpful when we were looking for tourist activity. Free parking. Everything we were looking for. 30 minutes drive into the city was only small criticism. Would definitely stay here again.

"When in Oak Brook..."
I need to be in Oak Brook all the time and always stay at the Marriott, for a few good reasons. 1. It is clean, well maintained with a good bar / restaurant in the lobby. 2. The rooms have been updated, nice granite counters, coffee machines in the room and great tv's. 3. Gym is 24 hours, never too crowded and absolutely servicable. 4. Starbucks opens […] at 6am in the lobby (and the hotel offers free WSJ). 5. There are always American Taxi cars in the parking lot, you can always get a cheap ride to O'Hare. 6. If you want restaurants nearby, Gibsons plus the mall offerings are hard to beat. For more, just go up 22 to a whole host of choices but I rarely rent a car, just keep it local Mehr

This hotel had a better than expected fitness facility, and the pool and pool deck was larger and more inviting. Being located right across the street from one of the nicest malls in the area, it was a perfect location for just about anything, including great eating choices. Can't wait to stay here again.

"Great hotel, helpful staff, good bar, ok location"
We had a great time at this hotel. The room was very clean with extremely comfortable beds and pillows. The front desk staff were more than helpful and cheerful. The restaurant and bar staff were generous of their time changing the channel if we asked or opening the bar just for us even though the day bartender had not yet shown up for work. "Understaffed and underwhelming"
I arrived at 3 p.m. and was told that our room was not ready because it was still being cleaned. Reason given was that they had had a full hotel the night before. The harried front desk staff tried to make things right, but we were not able to get in our room until 4:45. This appears to me to be a management problem because obviously the full hotel […] the previous night was no surprise to them -- they simply chose not to hire enough cleaning staff or call in enough cleaning staff to get the rooms ready. The next morning, one of the three elevators was not working. Having only three elevators for such a large hotel is problematic to begin with -- but having only two working elevators is a recipe for chaos. There appeared to be no one working on the out-of-service elevator. Granted, it was a Sunday, but still one would think that such a critical function would be a top priority. Mehr

The location was great. The atmosphere was good. I enjoyed the breakfast tremendously. All in All this was an enjoyable experience.

The experience at the Marriott in Oak Brook was excellent. The staff was very friendly and the room was very comfortable and was at a very reasonable price. The pool and hot tub were great and having a Starbucks in the hotel is a plus. We didn't get a chance to eat at the restaurant, but the bartender at the bar was very friendly. The location is great […] with a lot of dining and shopping around the area. Overall, this was a great stay and I would recommend this hotel. Mehr

The hotel was very close to the Brookfield Zoo, which is what we were after! The staff was very friendly and very helpful. We noticed a lot of security in the building... We had a clean room...the bathroom was just he toliet and shower with the sink right outside of it. (kind of a tight spot...not too bad) The staff recommended an AWESOME pizza delivery […] place...best pizza we have ever had! There was a family reunion going on during our stay, and the pool was very crowded. We felt a little uncomfortable in the middle of all the family in the pool, but we were able to do our thing. The only thing that I could really suggest if you are going to stay here is to bring your own drinks and snacks...very expensive! No vending machines...just a soda machine...the snacks were in the lobby and they were very pricey!! Overall nice place to stay for a great price! Thank you Hotels.com for helping us find it! Mehr
"Very Pleasant stay"
No problems at all, good amenities and the restaurant is good, good rates. Cant complain at all. Stayed here for the 4th of july weekend and the distance to chicago was not bad at all.

Over all I was happy with my stay and would recommend to others but I'm pretty sure they gave me the wrong room because I booked it via hotels.com. This is probably the 1st time in my life that I didn't feel like arguing about it.
"Quick tip for biz travel"
In general, a fine hotel. Close to the zoo, near a shopping mall, friendly staff, rooms are nice. If you need to print files for a meeting, though, you should know that they have such tight virus control on their computers and printers, it is unlikely you will be able to actually print your files. Plan ahead!

I had a great experience and would tell anyone that this hotel is one of a kind and the rates were great...When I had an issue the young lady at the front desk helped me out and I was satisfied with how quickly she solved the issue.....The room was clean, bed very comfie and I will be staying here again.....

we only stayed for one night, but the bed was super comfortable, the room was nice and their was hot water for the shower. What more could you ask for?!

I booked myself into this hotel for a quick getaway and enjoyed every minute of it.

Only problem with the hotel was that we couldn't walk to the meeting facility. The hotel was adjacent to a very busy street with no cross walks making it virtually impossible to walk to the meeting. We were forced to take taxis or shuttles to go 2 blocks.
