Minneapolis Airport Marriott - Bloomington

The beds were very compfortable and the staff was very kind and accomodating. The only issue we had with the room is the toilet ran for a long period of time after flushing so during the night that was a bit noisy. Otherwise great hotel. Would have been nice to have a breakfast included as well.

Overall, the experience was wonderful. The staff was friendly. The location was perfect. The food was good.

Hotel location was great, as well as the service. Lacks updated amenities. Pool has a 9 foot deep end,crowded on shallow end with little ones and the hot tub was not functional. Hallways smelled musty and of mildew. Hotel is great location to the mall.

My biggest beef with this hotel was the condition f the room. The carpet was filthy and upgrades to the rooms are in definite need. The location is ideal if you're going to the Mall of America, Ikea or want to do some shopping in Bloomington. The staff are friendly and very willing to service your requests. The price was right , so if you're not looking […] for a 5 star room I recommend as a reasonable place to stay for a night or two. Mehr

We stayed at the Marriott next to the Mall of America St. Patrick's day weekend. The hotel is very conveniently located withing half a mile to the Mall of America. They run a shuttle to and from the Mall every 30 minutes (although you can easily walk from the hotel to the Mall). The staff was very courteous and helpful. They even ran a second, special […] shuttle run for us when we just missed the regularly scheduled every half hour run. I would highly recommend this hotel to Mall of America visitors. Mehr

Great dinner and breakfast. Whirl pool and pool were nice. Rooms were very comfortable.

The hotel was very clean, the staff helpful. The only problem I had was paying for internet. I find that cheaper hotels and even motels have free wireless, while this hotel had 24 hours, noon to noon, that you had to pay for.

My husband and I had a very pleasant experience here. The service was fantastic, they were very polite and tended to our needs and requests. The only negative thing I could think of, was the fact that they do not have a mini fridge in their standard rooms. Even dumpy hotels have those now-a-days don't they?

if you like sleeping with lots of light in your room, this is the place. the hotel has very bright lights in the parking lot which is a good thing but the drapes in the rooms dont pull shut which is a bad thing. i probably could have read my book, awful.

The staff was courteous and helpful from the moment we arrived to the time we left the building.The room was in great condition, a refrigerator was immediately available upon request and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was great (buffet and made-to-order) and the breakfast staff were on their 'A' game! Thanks!

I did not sleep all night noise from neighbors. Called front desk twice and checked out early very inconvenient for me that night. I should have been offered a quiter room

Only thing missing was movie rental. My 17 year old was upset.

Perfect place to stay if you want to be close to the Mall of America! Loved the shuttel service. We didn't have to drive untill it was time to head home!

We have stayed at this hotel before so decided to try it again, but this time there were a few things 'off." The check-in didn't go as well as it could have, the front desk clerk was very hard to understand and he messed up on a couple of things that we found out after the fact . We had arranged for a fridge for the room, which wasn't there, and when […] we did get it it was dirty and in need of defrosting and cleaning. The room was very nice, the bed VERY comfortable. We did the option of the breakfast buffet, which was fantastic. Not the typical continental breakfast at all. There was even a cook there to make omelets, etc on the spot. Very nice and well worth the extra. We would have paid more getting breakfast at McDonald's for the size of our family! Mehr

We were greeted at the front desk by some very friendly and helpful desk clerks. Constantly smiling and addressing us with great respect and genuine fondness! When we required a taxi, the bellman called the company and arranged it to arrive exactly on time for our trip to the New Year's Eve show we were to attend. He also was very friendly! The room […] itself was impeccably clean, had a beautiful, comfortable bed, and had a darkness curtain that kept out the unwanted light the following morning. Marriot Management, I recently stayed at your hotel for 3 evenings. We chose your hotel as it was across the road from the Mall of America. We found the staff to be very friendly and the doorman Sam was very helpful, knowledgable and kind. We ate at the restaurant Bistro 79 and thought the food was great. Although we were disappointed that the spot […] where a mini fridge is in most hotels was unoccupied. Secondly, we received a bill for $2.25 at the end of our stay for making 3 LOCAL calls....REALLY!!!!! Is the Marriot that CHEAP that they have to charge people for making local calls. I did not expect this from a Marriot. In a couple months when we return to Minneapolis to visit the mall again we will be choosing one of the other dozens of hotels in the area. I had to switch 3 times to different rooms due to them being dirty. I feel like I wasted my money staying at this hotel wish I never stayed there.

Once of the reason we had booked this hotel is that we were wanted a level of comfort and service of a 1st tier hotel in the Mall of America area.....I've stayed with Marriott many times, and the name Marriott is one I generally associate with affordable luxury..... This Marriott however, has the feel of a 20-year old Holiday Inn.....The rooms were […] cramped, and the beds, advertised as queens, were in fact doubles, which made for a couple of uncomftable night's sleep for my husband and I.....The hallways were dusky and narrow, and the whole place could have used a fresh coat of paint...... If you are looking for a place in Bloomington that is a cut above the usual mid-range fair, I would not recommend this hotel...... Mehr

This was a wonderful place to stay right across the street from Mall Of America we enjoyed our stay and will come back again.

This was the first time we used Hotels.com and were very happy with our experience. Hotel was easy to find and check in was so easy ..... it was like the hotel staff knew who we were. The Marriot Hotel was a great place to stay. It is located within walking distance of the Mall of America and within minutes of other area attractions. The room was very nice and clean. It was nice and the beds were super comfortable. Wasn't all that roomy, and it was very simple, but nice. However, I paid for a standard room, for very cheap, so i got what I paid for.

Linens and towels were dirty and stained. Contacted front desk for replacement (very quick to respond with replacement and courteos) although the replacements were stained. The room was very small. Staff was very courteous and professional, but the linens were dirty and that's hard to get past.

Every member of the staff including the lounge bartenders were very helpful and polite.They came through when I requested an early check-in and a room close to the pool because my kids and I were in town for the state fair.

I would highly recommend the Marriott Bloomington to anyone who wants a relaxing, enjoyable stay. This hotel is a very nice hotel, very clean and is in a great location. Thanks Marriott Bloomington for a great stay. My family and I enjoyed our stay with you.

Literally across the street from the Mall of America! We thought we got issued the wrong room because of how nice it was and how low the price was. Will never stay anywhere else while visiting the Minneapolis area!

Overall, this is a good hotel in a convenient location. For those who need internet service, though, I would not recommend staying at this hotel. Not only do you have to pay for internet service if you want it in your room, but even if you go to the business center with your computer, you still have to pay for service. Overall experience was GOOD. The pool was out of order the first day, but working the next. The room could have used a good dusting, really dusty! but comfortable. The air conditioner was not working properly, but someone came without much of a wait to fix it. The restaurant had wonderful breakfast buffet both mornings. Staff was very nice
