It was a very nice hotel, I am an interior design student thus I am always looking at the interior details. It was nice that it had some covered parking available too..will stay there again.

I'm glad we took a chance on this hotel. Some of previous ratings were not great; but, our stay was comfortable and staff was very nice and responsive. Breakfast was great and servers were very good as well. The a/c unit could use an upgrade as well as the bathroom, but this was another hotel before it became crown plaza. Nice rooms!!! Very comfortable!!

The room was fair, bed was uncomfortable, cheap mattress cover kept coming out and mattress lumpy. Bathroom molding old and dirty.

We enjoyed our stay and will definitely return!!!

Very good stay, room service and movies are a little pricey, but the ribeye was excellent.

My one night stay at the Crowne Plaza was a bad experience. Generators in the building went out of service. Bed was very uncomfortable. Not to mention the AC was not working. We turned up the AC to 69 degrees & it felt like it was 80 degrees in there. (and to think that I'm always cold............I was burning up! Not a very pleasant stay.

This hotel was near alot of places.. It was nice and the room was nice, but I did stay more out in the street then in the room being there's a mall a exit away, food places, all around.. Club 5-10 mins..

Staff was rude, hotel was old & out dated.

Arrived at 4:15pm they told me my room was not ready and it would be at least 45 minutes. When I told them I would go somewere else they found me a room. The windows in this room looked like they had never been cleaned. The bath tub was a whirlpool but the jet were full of scum and mold. I placed my breakfast order on my door at 8pm when I went to bed, […] they never picked it up so needless to say I did not get breakfast. Night staff not very friendly (except the manager who found me a room) the young man checking me in acted like I was taking away from his chat time in the back room with whom ever he was talking to. Hotel per se is excelent, can't complaint about a thing, but the evening personnel everything but helpful. I selected this hotel because of its Free Parking-Airport shuttle deal. I reserved 2 rooms for December the 21st and 2 rooms for December the 28th, which I was away with my family flying from SAT. Surprise: Management told me I could leave my […] car there while I was away, and I could'n even pay separately for the service. I ended parking at Hilton Doulbe Tree. We really enjoyed the meals and the attentiveness of the staff (Randy) in the dining room. Since most of the female in this family are short, we had some difficulty reaching the coffee pot that was on top of the mobile kitchen . May be it should be in a more convenient area.

Do not stay at this hotel. The location was convenient, but this hotel must be at least 25 years old. I've stayed at the executive level suite, supposedly the best, and the carpet smells of mold. The furniture was also old and moldy. The bathroom was outdate and cracked tiles were apparent. The front desk was also rude. I definitely does not recomment […] any stay at this establishment. Mehr

Redecorated very nicely. Outside update would be good, but I realize expensive. Front desk clerk was very nice and helpful.

The location is perfect so close to the airport. Area is filled with nice restraunts and so close to hwy 281 which goes directly to downtown and south SA. The room was so lovely and clean and the bathroom was so pretty. Everything was perfect. Beautiful hotel. Will diffinatly stay there on our next visit. I give it 4 stars for sure.

We were going to eat at The Cheese Cake Factory until we were told about a 2.5 hour wait. With a party of 17 we came back to the hotel and ate at your restaurant. The employees quickly setup a table to seat everyone and promptly seated everyone. Great food and service was provided. We were lucky to take advantage of your restaurant. The Hotel was in very good conditions, very clean and with all the services working fine. The only inconveniente is that from 6 to 6:30 am the noise of a lot of airplanes don't allow us to sleep well, I believe this is an inconveninet for all the hotels that are near to an airport.

Came to San Antonio for work and was pleased with my room. I ended up getting delivery and take-out both nights I was there. There isn't a lot of entertainment around the hotel but that was fine for me since I wanted to be by the airport. Free parking and Internet was also a bonus!

This hotel was very nice, located right off the highway. The condition of the hotel in general was good, and I was very impressed with the condition of my room. I was only there for 6 hours but I will definately return.

Conveniently located to the airport with easy access hotel shuttle service. Restaurant is to be skipped for anything other than breakfast.

Great place to stay. Checked in real late and wasn't welcomed very well and the common area mens room was out of paper but that is the only negatives. Clean, comfortable rooms, day staff was very plesant and I will stay there again!

Even thou it was a last minute trip on the 4 th of July , we had a very nice weekend. Was able to relax after a very busy and tired day at Sea World. Very nice rooms and clean. Enjoy the pool with the kids and even the hot tub for a few min. since the temperature was so hot but it did help my aching muscles. The only thing would had make it perfect […] was if the breakfast was included. The restaurant was expensive too. But will definitely come back! Mehr

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It is in a convenient location and we had no problems. Our room was clean but a little small by our standards. We would stay there again.

Not what I expected for a crown plaza very outdated

This was one of the niceset hotels I have stayed at in the Crowne Plaza chain. From the check in to check out service was wonderful. The only draw back to the stay was the distance from the riverwalk. Distance to the airport was great!!!

I absolutely enjoyed my weekend stay here. Its a perfect location if visiting someone at Ft. Sam Houston. Staff was superb!

No complaints about this hotel. The room was nice and comfortable and the staff was great. Will stay again.

For Graduation weekend at Trinity University; the hotel was very convenient.

I would highly recommend this hotel for comfort, convenience, and cleanliness. The beds were so comfortable and the service very accommodating and helpful. We arrived the same weekend as a high school orchestra stayed and they gave us a room away from all the noise. I thought that was very thoughtful of them. The housekeeper did a great job with keeping […] our room clean. We were able to find Seaworld quickly with the directions we received from the front desk. Our room was very small with a "view" of a wall just 4 feet away from the window. The air-conditioning unit sounded like a 747 jet roaring all night long. Very disappointing for the money. I would not stay here again and would not recommend it to friends.
