Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress - Orlando

herausragendes Merkmal ist die gigantische Poollandschaft, die an Groesse und Ausstattungsmerkmalen kaum zu ueberbieten ist. Waehrend die Zimmer blitzesauber sind, duerfte aus den Fluren der Staubsauger gruendlicher eingesetzt werden.

Hotel sehr gross. Zimmer sauber und relativ modern. Schöne Poolanlage mit Golfplatz, den wir nicht nutzten. Man kann Velos mieten. Es hat Velo-/Spazierwege auf dem Hotelareal. Super Frühstücksbuffet, mit allem, was man sich wünschen kann. Um die 20$ pro Person. Frühstücksraum angenehm in der Temparatur.

This is a nice hotel with an international crowd. The pool was beautiful and they have a small lake with kayaks and such to borrow. We stayed in a superior double room and it was cramped for the four of us. The style is clean and modern, but it took us a while to figure out the shower. I would stay here again if we go to Orlando.

Excellent customer service, beautiful amenities, love the surroundings, close proximity to Universal studios and other theme parks. Would definitely stay again in the future!

The resort was fantastic and the focal point is the huge poll and beach area. Rooms are all updated and clean with great views on the pool side of Epcot and downtown disney. Our family enjoyed watching the evening fireworks from Epcot and Magic Kingdom from the room. I wasn't prepared for the $20 per day resort fee (but worth it) or the $11/day parking […] fee. All in all, we really look forward to going back. This will be our go-to location when in orlando. Mehr

We were so happy and all my daughter and husband were bummed about is that we had to go home after our vacation was over. Everyone was nice and hope we can come back. ;)

The hotel was convenient to local attractions and set in large grounds, however a conference was being held during our stay which became the number one priority for the Hotel and we were made to feel a bit like second class citizens.

The staff was exceptional! They were all very friendly and accommodating.The grounds were so serene, very relaxing after time at Disney and in Orlando traffic. Our dog was also treated royally.

Excellent hotel with many ammenties for kids and adults, great for families. The facilities at this hotel were far and above what we expected.

Wonderful hotel! We have two children, 11 &8. It was a great hotel for them as well as my husband and I. Lots to do: waterslides, bikes, golf, rock climbing, canoes and walking paths. Great staff. Super friendly. You can see the fireworks from Epcot and WDW from the hotel. When we go back to Orlando, we will definitely stay here again.

The hotel campus setting is wonderful. My daughters enjoyed the pools and the setting of the hotel. We will definitely stay here every time we in the Disneyworld area.

We had a fabulous time at the Hyatt Regency, there was really no need to leave the beautiful grounds...we did to visit Disney but were always glad to be back in the serene setting. The entire staff was very friendly and welcoming to us and our dog. We will definitely be back and recommend it to our friends.

Beuatiful property, however hotel staff very unfriendly and didnt honor confirmed reservation in addition very expensive...for example sunscreen at the pool was $17.

Great hotel. Minor inconvenience with loud maintenance work on exterior of bldg. Hotel staff was excellent. Someone in room service accidentally dialed our hotel phone @ 1:00 in the morning, and the ensuing apologies and offers to repay us for the inconvenience never ended! The staff was so nice. But the food was highly priced and not good at Cascade's (the family restaurant). There were 6 of us in our party and only one of the meals was good enough to recommend. Cost was $190 which included 2 kids meals (quite certain was Kraft Mac and cheese) and 6 beers. I had fish tacos but the fish looked like dark meat chicken??? […] Location is not convenient to Disney. Stay on premises for same amount of money. Kids pool was supposed to be 81degrees....it was not!!! Lol!! We made due and had fun anyway. They did have a wonderful wait staff and were always offering to help. Mehr

My family and I recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress. The property overall was outstanding. The rooms were more than adequate. Some of the room amenities included a mini fridge, WiFi, flat screen tv. I had read reviews about the showers not having a curtain and I do agree that the tub with a shower door on the front half of the tub is […] a bit odd but the water was hot and the water pressure was great. The staff of the hotel was very friendly and helpful. Valet parking was $23/day and self parking was $11/day. I had 2 young children with me so I used the valet service and was very pleased with their service. The pool/hot tubs were excellent. One pool is heated. There are also slides at the pools for the kids to enjoy as well as a pool side bar. Also there were paddle boats that were available on a first come basis that were included in the hotel resort fee. The gym/fitness center was very good for a hotel as well. Pool and gym hours were 24 hours a day. I would not hesitate to stay at this property again and in fact plan on returning. It was very close to Disney and also was close to the interstate which made it convenient to go to Universal, Seaworld, Mall of Millenia etc. Mehr

The hotel is beautiful and conveniently located. You have to pay for parking or they offer valet parking for double the fee. Hotel staff is friendly and the rooms are clean and nicely designed. The artwork throught the hotel is wonderful. There are two points to make. I think that a hotel this nice should offer 2 queen size beds in their double bed […] rooms, it's welcome space when you have teenagers. We were surprised that their towels were very thin worn and not soft. Other than that, We enjoyed our stay and made good use of the outdoor ammenities. Mehr

We have stayed at many nice hotels in the Disney area. This hotel was one of our best stays yet. The staff was very friendly, rooms very nice and clean, large pools and hot tubs. Great view from our room of waterfalls pools, lake, and Disney in the distance for fireworks at night. Great atmosphere wherever you went. Great location, close to just about […] everything. On the down side was that the food prices were high, had to pay to park each day, and there was a facilities fee each day. Facilities fees included bikes, lake boats, tennis, jogging trails, and chip n putt golf. Overall though a good experience. Need to keep an eye on the room rates. The hotel has a classy feel.It is warm not stuffy.I felt at home.

A fantastic well located luxurious hotel for families. Lots of on site activities for those non - theme park days and an exceptional pool.

Really nice hotel - loads to see - shame we did not have enough time to use all the facilities.

Great expierence. Came down to watch a college football Bowl Game and loved every minute of it. No need to even think about leaving the Hotel for dinner. Best food I had in Orland was at the Hotel. You must try there brunch on Sundays. A little pricey but I woul do it again!!!

The location and facility are fabulous! Everyone there is very friendly and helpful. Complementary champagne on check-in. Valet is not that expensive either. The rooms are very nice and modern with fixtures. Rooms are average size and do well for family of four, but any more than four and you will find the rooms very small. The only complaints I have […] are the shower could use a fully enclosed door. They only have a half glass door, so the cold outside air comes in making you hover under the hot water and wash up quick. That and the beds were a bit hard for my taste, but you can't make them perfect for everyone I suppose. Overall a great place to stay when at Disney, or just in Orlando area for business. Mehr

Good location. Rental car made it easy to eat out since hotel food are expensive. $22 resort fee does not cover the use of tennis racket ($8 an hour racket rental fee). Nice resort with lots to do. Would definitely stay again and bring my own tennis racket next time.

Everything was phenomenal but the value of the restaurants. Three star food at five star prices.

Great location and facility. Room was nice. Food at the resort was extrordinary! Hemingway's crab cake dinner and the Sunday brunch buffet are not to be missed!! If you're there for 3 or more days book with the resort credit and use it on food! Pitch and putt was also nice.

I would recommend this hotel to all family trip/romantic trips also. I am pleased with all that included from the restaurants to the facilities amenities. Everyone was so pleasant and made you feel at home. I love this Hotel. Will be back again.

The hotel is situated on lovely acreage with the gardens and surrounds beautifully manicured. A little isolated from activities having to use taxis which are expensive even though most things were only 5- 15 minutes away. The shuttle to universal needed to travel more often during the day. First, let me say that we've stayed at this hotel four times now. We really like it, and feel it offers a good value for the money. It feels luxurious, has one of our favorite restaurants (Hemingway's!) and you can stay here for a reasonable rate, if you get one of their specials. This time around, we did have some issues. The staff was universally […] friendly and helpful, so this should not reflect poorly on them. But, the hotel (like many businesses in Orlando) is understaffed. And, they make up for the reasonable room rate by charging exorbitant rates at the bar, coffee bar, etc. We had a few drinks at the White Horse. On an afternoon when the weather was awful, many people were staying indoors. Well, they had one server and one bartender, and the drinks were awful. But expensive! Well, at least we waited forever for them... In our room, the air conditioner was extremely loud (like, couldn't hear the TV or each other loud) and didn't remove any humidity from the room. It was soup in there. The water pressure was pretty awful, and the shower was difficult to figure out. The design of the closet/bathroom, which made it impossible for one person to use the closet while the other used the bathroom, was just silly. Another downer -- the weather was so bad we couldn't go to any of the theme parks. No problem, we thought, we'd go to the pool (might as well) and have drinks at the grotto. No such luck. They closed the bar. Basically, understaffing and a lack of maintenance is hurting this hotel. We'd still stay there again, but watch the "extras" and don't expect the level of service they used to provide. Too bad. The people still working there were fantastic. Mehr

We wanted a weekend away from home and the Grand Cypress was the perfect getaway...Grounds are well maintained, plenty to do on the hotel grounds, and the staff was wonderful. We look forward to our next visit. When in Orlando, stay here if at all possible..

We stayed for one night but it was enough time to enjoy all the great ammenities this hotel has to offer. The rooms are newly rennovated, the service was great in the restaurants, pool bar, reception, everywhere. This hotel is perfect for families!

Hotel was beautiful but was charged an extra fee to use the pool and outside activities. There were shuttles to Disney only in the morning at 6 and 8. No vending machines - only room service for drinks or food. The concierge room was wonderful. Probably the best part of the stay. Would not stay here again. Warm, friendly, helpful come readily to mind when describing the service. The rooms need some drawers to unpack and more places to hang towels. The hair dryer is down right scrawny - must have been supplied by a man. The biggest challenge is the self parking. Though it was off season the lot was past packed, it was over crowded day and night. The isles […] are not marked so much time is spent looking for the car because all rows look alike. Food - way too expensive, so people just went offsite - duh. They could make a good thing even better with a few changes. Mehr

I am satisfy with services.

The hotel didn't know anything about my chosen preferences. They didn't know the fact that I had paid extra for a lakeview room, so they initially gave me a room facing the parking lot. They didn't know I had prepaid their $21 daily fees, so they charged it again (I had to spend 20 minutes and finally had to email them my reservation so that they would […] take it off). They didn't know I had prepaid the taxes, so they charged them again. Don't know whose fault it is, if hotels.com, or the hotel itself, but it was pretty aggravating having to go through all this hassle when it is their job to know. Mehr
