die anbindung mit den öffentlichen verkehrsmitteln zur innenstadt ist super. das frühstück sehr dürftig, aber daß es 24/7 kaffe und tee umsonst gibt, haben wir oft gern genutzt. der preis schlägt alles! dashotel hat seine besten zeiten schon hinter sich. aber für den preis ist es top.

Es ist wirklich so schön, wie sie beschreiben. Die grosszügige und einladende Lobby in der ersten Etage diente u.a. dem Weinempfang aller an diesem Tag anreisenden Gäste. Allerdings scheint die Zeit auf 17 bis 18 Uhr begrenzt zu sein. Eher als Ausnahme bekam ich später noch einen Gutschein für die Bar, die nicht ganz so nett ist, wie die Lobby. Beim Frühstück im benachbarten Bistro muss man wissen, was man wählt, um nicht vom Amerikanischen Geschmack überrascht zu werden.

Zu unserer Ueberraschung war alles viel kleiner, als es in den Bildern erscheint. Der Fotograf hat einen super Job gemacht. Dennoch ist das Hotel eine sehr gute Wahl. Allerdings hatten wir eine Suite. Wir haben das Zimmer-Service-Fruehstueck nie genutzt, da es genug guenstige und gute Alternativen in der unmittelbaren Umgebung gibt.
Lage
Hyatt Regency O'Hare liegt in Flughafennähe in Rosemont in der Nähe der folgenden Sehenswürdigkeiten: Donald E. Stephens Convention Center, Rosemont Theatre und Rivers Casino. Allstate Arena ist eine weitere in der Nähe gelegene Sehenswürdigkeit.
Ausstattung
Dieses Hotel für Geschäftsreisende verfügt über folgende gastronomische Angebote: Restaurant, Coffee-Shop/Café und Bar/Lounge. Ein W-LAN-Internetzugang steht gegen Gebühr in den öffentlichen Bereichen zur Verfügung. Geschäftsreisenden wird in diesem 4-Sterne-Haus Folgendes angeboten: Businesscenter, Tagungsräume für kleine Gruppen und Konferenzraum. Das Hotelpersonal hilft Ihnen gerne bei allen Fragen weiter. Zum Service-Angebot gehört Folgendes: Concierge-Service, Event-Catering und Serviceleistungen für Geschäftsleute. Ein W-LAN Highspeed-Internetzugang steht Ihnen gegen eine Gebühr zur Verfügung. Neben Fernsehern mit Premium-Satelliten-TV-Empfang sind die Zimmer mit folgenden Angeboten und/oder technischen Geräten ausgestattet: Pay-TV. "sehr nahe zum Flughafen"
von außen betrachtet ist das Hyatt gut, die Lobby ist auch schön gestaltet. Die Innenarchitektur ist allerdings sehr "speziell". Eine zentrale Säule beinhaltet 4 Lifte. Wen man in seinen Sock hochfährt muss man über eine Art Brücke zu den Zimmern gehen, die ringförmig angeordent sind. Alles innen ist in unbehandeltem Sichtbeton ausgeführt. Das Ganze […] wirkt wie ein riesiges Gefängnis aus einen Endzeitfilm, allerdins mit ein wenig Grünzeug zur Auflockerung - die grausamste Innenarchitektur, die ich je in einem Hotel gesehen habe. Für die Augen eines Europäers unglaublich hässlich.Aber das ist bei einem Flughafenhotel wohl nicht das wichtigste. Der Service stimmt, das Zimmer ist komfortabel, das Bett war nicht zu weich und das Restaurant war auch o.k. - allerdings, wie meist in solchen amerikanischen Hotels, überteuert. Insgesamt dennoch o.k. wenns nur für eine Nacht sein soll. Sonst in jedem Fall lieber Downtown ein hotel suchen. Mehr
"Nicht beeindruckend"
Hyatt Regency O'Hare liegt in Rosemont direkt gegenüber Messe - für solche Anliegen nicht verkehrt. Ansonsten beeindruckt die Lobby - aber das war es dann auch schon. Zimmer geräumig, aber sehr veraltet, dunkel + ungemütlich im Haupt-Trakt. Im weiteren liegt das Hotel nicht am Flughafen sondern etwa 8 Meilen entfernt. "Nice, but hard to keep the room comfortable"
Overall our experience was great at the Hyatt. The room was nice and clean, the hotel is beautiful on the inside, and the location for us was great! My only huge issue was the thermostat. The room stayed very very warm no matter what we did! I was so happy that we had a room with a balcony, or I think we would have suffocated in there.

We loved this hotel! One of the finest by far. Very accomodating to our needs, beautifully rennovated also! Very modern. Huge Atruim with thousands of fresh plants. We did not want to leave! Having a Pool would have been a plus, though they did have a Fitness Center. Will definatelly be comming back!!

Very nice room and great location if you're flying in/out of O'Hare. However! Woke up at 3:30am to hear bubbles in the pipes. Half an hour later couldn't sleep and had to go to the bathroom. As I sat down I heard more bubbles in the pipes, which exploded up through the toilet!! OMG how DISGUSTING and UNSANITARY! Needless to say I was taking an unscheduled […] shower at 4am. "Nice front desk and hotel"
Staying for one night on our way further. We got a nice room on the 9th floor. The lobby/front desk and hotel overall were great, we were treated really nice. There was not so much to choose of restaurants in the neighbourghood. but the one in the hotel was superb with no overprice. Recommended.

"Hyatt Regency O'Hare"
The hotel and staff were great. What I did have a problem was the people in the next room. They being too loud plus their kids were crying constantly. I understand these thing happen. The reason for my stay was too relax in a quiet and peaceful place but couldn't really do that. The other problem I have was that the bed frame was covered with dust.
A good night's rest is crucial to a good stay. I am so sorry that we were unable to provide that for you. I can assure you that the cleanliness of the room that you stayed in will certainly be addressed. Thank you so kindly for the feedback.

I go a couple of times a year to events at this hotel, and I always look forward to it. Everyone on staff treats you like you're booked in the penthouse suite - they encorporate hospitality into every part of the experience. The beds are lucious, and breakfast, while pricey, is always so good. I love the showers - no tubs in the kingsize bed rooms […] I usually stay in. Looking forward to the next event there! Mehr

I loved the stay at Hyatt Regency!! Very clean, loved the area and the people that work there very polite. As soon as we got there they put our luggage on a cart, my friend started pushing it towards the elevator.We hear someone yelling ma'am! I paid theextra $$ for a Rgncy Club Room. What a waste of money. Other than having a bathrobe, the ameniies and room were exactly like my co-wokers. No extra services were offered for the $$ difference.

The hotel itself, the amenities, the nearby Casino, and the day time staff were the positives and the night time staff attitude and unprofessional manner was the negative. Overall and considering the rate, it was a pleasant stay.

Small room and small size of a King size Bed. Seems like a Queen size bed. Receptionist argued that it was a King size bed. Okay, but it seemed much smaller than my King size bed at home. Our stay was very nice. Although I had an argument with the staff at the reception while checking out. Our booking had included breakfast but the lady at the check out counter tried to charge me for the breakfasts. Overall great hotel, comfy beds. Only two minor concerns, there was a used towel hanging on the back of the door at checkin time, and you can't buy a newspaper anywhere!

I stay in this hotel for a conference once or twice a year. It's always a treat. Every hotel staff person I encounter practices warm hospitality and gracious service. very convenient, a bit over-priced in my opinion & I do resent having to pay for overnight parking in their lot...but that seems to be the nature of the business nowadays. Room was quite pleasant, bathroom very satisfactory & the amenities (restaurant & bars) satisfactory as well.

It's hard for an excellent service and facility to be negociated with a cheap price. However, Hyatt Regency O'Hare was able to take both of these proabably due to its geographic location; although the place is nowhere close to possible destinations.

"Freezing Lobby"
For the most part, I was very pleased with this hotel. I had only 2 complaints. First, the temperature of the lobby, gym, and restaurants was freezing. It was pleasant outside, but management had the a/c set to a bitter cold temperature. I went to another hotel (Embassy Suites) for dinner because I could not stand the cold. Also, because I was flying […] in from Japan, I woke up at 2:30 am. I went to get a snack from the convenience store, but it was closed. I had to walk to the nearby Hilton. Mehr
"Horrible, Horrible"
Paid for the "business room" that was supposedly soundproof, it was not. On top of the insane amount of money you spend on a room, you have to pay for wireless internet, and they nickel and dime you to death, having to leave the room for anything other than coke or wine. It was incredibly loud in the lobby all night long. And the next morning, the maid […] decided to let herself into our room while we, and my child, were still sleeping at 8 am without knocking or apologizing. My stay was very good. Considering the many guests they had to accomodate that particular weekend I was very impressed at the level of service. I would definately stay there again if future plans called for it and would recommend to others.

Easy to get to.. Gas station nearby.. Only downfall would be the nightly parking charge. Besides that. It was wonderful.. Fully stocked bar.. restaurant, coffee shop, gym... We loved it.. And you do have to pay extra for the fridge if you want one.. But Ice makers were everywhere.. haha.. We will stay again.. Next time we are there..

"Hyatt O'Hare"
The staff at the hotel could not have been nicer. It was our 40th anniversary and they comped our parking fee and gave us a bottle of champaigne and Godiva chocolates. The breakfast was also very good. They made our anniversary very memorable.

"Great for business travelers"
The hotel was very nice with the exception of my experience with the valet man at check in. The front desk and restaurant service personnel were consummate professionals. Helpful and courteous. The fitness center is excellent, well maintained and has plenty of equipment (although it was very full at 6 AM).
