Einfaches, aber sehr sauberes Hotel mit sehr aufmerksamen Personal in direkter Umgebung der Ohio State University ( 10 Gehminuten ) unmittelbar angrenzend am Expo-Center. Entfernung zur Innenstadt etwa 3,5 Meilen. Das Hotel hat einen kleinen Swimmingpool und ist durchweg klimatisiert. Frühstücksbuffet ist typisch amerikanisch ( Pappgeschirr und Wegwerfbesteck - andere Länder, andere Sitten ;-) ) und reichhaltig. Insgesamt war ich aufgrund des sehr guten Preis - Leistungsverhältnisses und der für mich interessanten Lage sehr zufrieden und ich kann dieses Hotel nur weiterempfehlen !!!

One of the best hotels in the range of 3 stars! Strong recommendation if someone looks for a stay in between airport and downtown Columbus!

"Perfect location, small pool"
I stayed here the night of a concert at nationwide arena and it was a perfect spot! So close to walk, my mom has neuropathy in her feet and it was an easy walk for her there and back. Parking was not included in hotel price (14 dollars). We went to swim before the concert and the pool was disappointingly small and cold. The gym was also small for such […] a large hotel. The breakfast experience was good, food was good and staff was attentive. The room was clean, but looked old and very basic, not what I'd expect from a Hyatt. There was only a third party business center that provided no support services. The computers were very slow (one is charged by the duration of use), and charges for printing were unreasonably […] high. Hotel staff could not tell me any more than " go look at it yourself". "Not upscale like it used to be!"
There were newer, nicer hotels closer to the area we had planned to visit. We did not know that at the time of booking. We requested a King bed room and had that on our reservation but at check-in our room choice was not available and to us this was totally unacceptable. The room we received was small, and the overall experience was average to below […] average. In addition we had to park our rental car in a parking garage two blocks away for this hotel and this was the parking option given to us to self park at this hotel. "Breakfast of Champions"
Everything was great except that I had a bit of an issue with preordered in-room breakfast. I followed the instructions listed on the preorder card and hung it on my door well before the deadline. After I noticed it was still there around 11:00pm, I called room service to make sure they had my order and to deliver it by 8:00am. After 9:00am the next […] morning I called room service to inquire about my breakfast. They had no record of my order. To correct the issue they took my order over the phone and delivered it shortly after. I was happy that the attendant said the order was free of charge. Unfortunately, after thanking the attendant and closing the door, I discovered that the order was wrong. Dirty bathroom. Asked the front desk to send someone to clean, it wasn't any different when we came back. Also, I forgot two of my shirts in the bottom drawer of the dresser in the room. Contacted lost and found, they called back to let me know they had my items and I called back to arrange shipment to me, but i still have not received a call back. […] That was 2 days ago. I've called back numerous times and all I get is a voicemail for Penny. I cannot imagine the lost and found department that they cannot return a phone call in over 2 days. "Wonderful staff"
I love this hotel and will continue to book rooms. The only complaint is with the TV stations and the remotes. There are not many stations to choose from-but there are about five sports stations-and the remotes are slow. Maybe the remotes aren't wired correctly but when I only have thirty minutes to relax in front of the TV and the remotes are extremely […] slow to change channels and volume--it's annoying. Costly. Bath amenities were limited in quantity (1shampoo etc) Housekeeping was slow! Room not cleaned until after 2; neighbor's room service debris not cleared until later. Great location. Hotel personnel from Bell Hop to check-in to managerial staff where great. Very helpful in researching venues for what you are looking for; assured that you are comfortable in your room and with amenities they provide. I had an hardship that resulted in extending my stay and the supervisor on duty was able to make it affordable for me […] and included breakfast buffet. The room was small and the king sized bed that I signed up for on hotels.com was not available when I checked into the hotel. Instead we had to share a full sized bed which was very small! The mattress was comfortable, though and we did have a great view of the Columbus Arena District. The room was very clean and the hotel guest services and valet parking […] were efficient and fast.
