Das Hotel ist in New Carrollton (Maryland ). Die Umgebung besteht aus Supermärkten und Schnellrestaurants.Das Hotel hat einen eigenen Shuttelservice zur Metro .Die Hinfahrt nach Fahrplan ,die Rückfahrt nach ansage.Das Frühstück ist wie überall in Amerika nicht sehr reichhaltig ,aber man wird satt. So das übliche Essen.Kaffee Tee Toast MIlch Cornflex Rührei Butter Marmelade .Die Zimmer sind sauber und sehr geräumig

Hotelzimmer sing großzügig mit eingebauter Kitchenette - alles ist sehr sauber und gepflegt - das Frühstückbüffet (complimentray) ist reichhaltig und sehr gut - die Hotelpersonal ist hilfsbereit und sehr zuvorkommend - das Hotelshuttle kann für Transfers zu nahegelegenen Zielen kostenlos genutzt werden - nächstgelegene Metro-Station: Vienna (orange) kann mit Taxi erreicht werden - wenn mit Auto unterwegs, ist Lage / Pries-Leistungsverhältnis des Hotels sehr gut.

Vom Kapitol aus lenkt die gesetzgebende Gewalt die Geschicke der Nation. Oben auf der Kuppel des Gebäudes steht die Statue of Freedom und blickt auf das Volk. Viele Mitglieder des Kongresses leben in den Backsteinbauten, die sich in der Nähe des Kapitols aneinanderreihen. Gegenüber befindet sich der Supreme Court, der Oberste Gerichtshof der USA, in dem die Gesetze interpretiert werden. No complaints at all! The Sunday morning brunch was also worthwhile, and the coffee shop/gift store was well stocked. Valet parking was pretty expensive but took the stress out of parking. We'd definitely stay there again.

"Excellent Value"
The room was clean, linens and bed were comfortable and service was friendly. The hotel was an excellent value. The only minor complaint I have is that the valet parking was extremely slow. I called ahead for my car (15 minutes, like the ticket says) and I ended up waiting an additional 15 minutes for the car. There were probably 30 or so other people […] waiting for their cars as well outside. There were more valet attendants whistling for cabs than running to get the cars. It was frustrating. Mehr

1 Antwort von Hyatt Regency Washington DCI was very pleased with the hotel and I especially like the breakfast coupons. I would recommend this hotel to others. I was attending a conference and found a much cheaper rate at Hotels.com so I booked it there instead. A much better deal. Check that next time you have a convention or conference to make sure you are getting the lowest rate.

"Great get a way"
Lovely the beds were comfortable and I didint want to get out. The pool air was chilly but the pool aw nice and warm. The only thing bad about the fitness room was that there was no jaccuzzi. Andy will recommend you to all my friends and family if they ever have to go to Washinton, DC.

Hotel has great service, and nice restaurant(great food). Location is very close to capital building and open bus top tour of city. The downside is that it's a long walk to find restaurants, and white house is very far away. Also me, my wife and son slept terrible on beds. Lost two nights of sleep. There is also a homeless shelter around the corner […] of hotel, that should be avoided when with family. Mehr

"Spring Break Claustrophobia"
Spring break in DC with 10,000 strangers. That about sums up our stay at this hotel. The place was sold out, and there must have been 4 people to a room because everywhere -- elevators, restaurants, lobby, pool, exercise center -- were PACKED at every moment. Accordingly, the level of cleanliness and service was lower than I experienced in the past. […] No clean towels at the pool for 3 days. The room service table cloth was "previously enjoyed" and the poor staff on the breakfast buffet could barely keep up with the onslaught. I felt sort of sorry for the staff in general; it seems that management would know about the peak load problem and bulk up on personnel. Mehr

"Nice Stay."
It would be nice to have a frigerator or microwave in our room. Local liquor store was nearby but I would love to see a CVS store to keep up with my necessities. Free internet and breakfast like the Marriots would be nice. Overall nice location with Union station and the mall at our walking distance. For the price and location, this hotel far exceeded our expectations. The hotel was extremely kid friendly and the service we received was spectacular! When we travel in the future, we will indeed look for a Hyatt Regency since our experience here was excellent.
"Great place, great price for Capitol Hill"
We stayed two nights with our small children to view the museums and monuments. The room was very clean, quiet, albeit a little small for four. Excellent restaurants are a short walk away toward the Verizon Center down D st towards 6th and 7th. Valet parking seems steep at $45 until you understand you can keep your car there until 5 pm on your check […] out day. Parking is hard to get and parking garages start charging you at 8 a.m. after they get your $ for the overnight, so $45 is more than fair. The pool was great for the kids, again a bit small, but there is ample workout gear and space surrounding the pool. A win win for us. Overall a very good hotel in this location. We'll be back! Mehr

"Uk family of 4"
Very busy hotel, good location. Valet parking abit high $45 for 24hrs. Sunday's is free parking on all inroad parking. You get what you pay for, a busy businessperson hotel. Lots of people bring in pizza from outside. Vodk & tonic in bar $9.50, as you would expect in a hotel of this calibre.

Everything was fine the beds were a little hard but that my be my preference. We found the valet manager a bit unfriendly abrupt and almost rude, like we were in his way.

The hotel was in a nice neighborhood close to a variety of attractions. However we experienced a number of broken items in the room including the toilet and power strip on the room desk. Amenities were very expensive including parking, food, sundries etc. The expenses will greatly add top the overall cost of the stay. The service, food, and rooms condition were excellent. The only issue is that the rooms are not well sound insulated, so there is noise from the hall and adjacent rooms.

We did the Awaken package that included the breakfast buffet. Well worth it. It was great to start the day with a full complement of breakfast options. Steelcut oatmeal, eggs with chef-made pico de gallo sauce, salmon with capers, pastries, fruit, breakfast meats and much more - it gave us plenty of energy for a full day of sightseeing. The room was […] comfortable and contemporary. I have to agree with another reviewer that the bathroom setup is weird. Pedestal sinks look nice, but the narrow shelf over it is worthless for women trying to style their hair with a hair dryer or curling iron, or trying to apply makeup. I dropped my things so many times. The lovely housekeeping staff is warm and welcoming. The kids had fun in the pool. I would have liked a hot tub after all the walking we did. The fitness center is fantastic. Plenty of quality cardio equipment, balance balls, free weights and weight machines. Locker rooms did have a sauna, which felt nice after a good workout and days of walking. We would have liked a few more dining options in the immediate viscinity. "Not too bad, not good."
The bathroom is not so clean, hairs in the sink and bathtub. Pillow and bedsheets are in bad quality, the air conditioner is VERY noisy that made me didn't have a good night of sleep. Location is good. I assume the name "Hyatt" would give me something better than what I had. Will stay at a different hotel for my next visit.

The Hyatt Regency at Capitol Hill was amazing!! The staff was very personable and friendly, the food at Article 1 was fantastic, and all the guest were super nice. Staff went out of there way to greet me and my family every morning and afternoon. When I had an accident, I was personally escorted to my room and someone called to check in on me. Deena […] and Baccarr were the BEST!! If you intend to stay at the hotel, the morning buffet is the best! Fresh omelets made to order, and the best fresh squeezed orange juice. "Some things didn't work"
I am not sure if it was just me, but: I had to make a trip back to the check-in to get keys that work; the TV in the room was not working; the radio did not work after awhile. The staff is great, the food and drinks at the bar are great. The big downer: Hyatt wants you to pay almost $10 access your WiFi, even if it is for your iPhone. C'mon I buy a […] coffee for $1.20 and get free WiFi all day. Message to Hyatt: Stop that! Mehr
