I was happy with the service and location though I didn't like having to pay an additional $22 for parking.

Above average experience. I would stay here again.

overall it was an okay stay, the hotel was fine. Just wasn't too keen on the 22 dollars to park at the hotel where i have booked a room. Never saw any listing on any website that added that to my cost. Could have looked at other hotels that may look more expensive but are the same because they don't charge for parking.

I did not like the parking situation. I think the parking should be less or free. Also, I circled the block four times before a space became available for me to go inside the hotel to check in.

Everything was fine da only otha option I would prefer is more breakfast items otha than the everything was Great

Perfect for the business traveler - lots of outlets available in the room! Good for the family. Room was comfy and spacious with a short divider between the beds and the living area. Would definitely stay here again.

My suite was excellent, good value for money, the hotel staff were most helpful, pleasant and polite, I enjoyed my stay here. The free hotel shuttle bus to local shops and attractions is particularly useful. I would recommend this hotel.

The room was great, and very spacious. The service at the front desk was amazing, and the breakfast was also very good. The restroom; however was very small, and this was unexpected, but not unacceptable. A heads up would have been nice.

Everyone in the hotel was very helpful. This hotel had one of the best complimentary breakfasts that we have ever had and the staff was great at keeping everything stocked and cleaned. Everything was good with the hotel, it was clean great location to most things, I did not use the hotel parking, I use another parking garage about two blocks down...I didnt want to pay the 22.00. The bathroom was very small

There was a group of 5 ladies in town for the Color Run on 3/31/2012. The room was very spacious & big enough for all 5 of us. We had a handicapped room which was not a problem at all. We were able to walk to restaurants and to Hard Rock Cafe. This was nice because we did not have to drive. It was easy to get to the hotel from the Interstate and then […] back to the Interstate from the hotel. We used the hotel shuttle to and from Piedmont Park. It was very nice and easy to use. I would recommend this hotel again and I will stay there again. I had read other reveiws about paying to park no matter if you had a vehicle, but I was asked if there was a vehicle, so we did have to pay the $22. Mehr

The hotel was very clean and the rooms were in excellent condition. The hotel staff was always friendly and willing to help. The location was very convenient as well. We traveled to Atanta for the NCAA tournament and were about a twenty minute walk from the Georgia Dome. In addition, the hotel offered a shuttle service to games. We were very close to […] several downtown restaurants and a Marta station. I had no complaints regarding the neighborhood. The hotel is somewhat difficult to find as it is smaller than most surrounding hotels. Parking is a bit tight. I will also say the bathroom in was very small. Location was perfect, we could walk to the acquarium, Coca Cola, Centenial Park, restaraunts, etc. Also the shuttle was an added plus. We were very happy with the room as well. Breakfast was much more than I expected. We weren't aware of the parking fee, but in all we were very satisfied and would stay there again.

My family and I have stayed in many hotels over the years and I must say, the staff at Hyatt Place was excellent. Very pleasant and a pleasure to deal with. They took care of our every need. My family and I will gladly stay there again.

It was a very nice stay! The staff is great! The only drawback was the bathroom is kind of small, but overall a great hotel!

Great overnight stay... loved the location, the shuttle service, and the bed was great. Bathroom was small, but fine for us, parking is $22/night, but at least it is in an gated parking lot that no one can mess with. Definetley stay here again.

Very nice and clean room staff friendly and helpful location was excellent we walked to aquarium and world of coca cola.only draw back is there was no microwave in room so if traveling with young kids(ours 8mos&3) a microwave is a must

Were in the city for Zac Brown New Years Eve concert. And the Hyatt Place Atlanta Downtown location was great. It is next door to a micro-brew house with very good food. Great wine and tasty beers. They have small bar in hotel, with small food selection. It is very close to the marta (subway). It was clean, bright and friendly. Would stay again.

Overall the hotel is nice. No complaints with the actual hotel (other than having to pay $22 to park). The biggest complaints are the outside noises which could be heard from our room on the 9th floor. There is a night-club next-door which kept us up most of the night. This hotel was fine for a 1-night stay, but I wouldn't stay beyond that. The rooms were clean, but a little cramped. The bathroom in particular was very small. I do not know Atlanta very well so I don't know if this is a problem that is common to the whole city, but the Hotel's neighborhood was a bit unusual. There were high-class hotels within walking […] distance of this location, but a couple of blocks away there was a vacant lot where several homeless people had congregated to sleep for the night and prostitutes mulling about. The hotel has a gated lot to park your car, but it is only big enough for about 1/2 of the cars, so there is a good chance your car will not be in the gated portion of the lot. The extra parking fee, however, is the same regardless of whether there is space for you in the gated lot. Mehr

We enjoyed our room - very comfortable. Our complaints were that we were charged for parking with no advance notice and no alternatives to paying the large fee (such as parking at a cheaper parking deck one block away). We were also very disappointed in the complimentary breakfast. The breads were kind of bland and stale and the choices were very limited. […] Of course, they had better food for purchase in the next room. It just seemed like a typical big city sheist - get the customers there and then reveal the hidden costs. It was much more expensive overall than we expected because of these hidden costs. Mehr

Great staff, well-run. The complimentary shuttle to the congress center was terrific and saved us over a hundred bucks in cabs. Very nice hotel.

Had to call hotels.com from the room and they called the hotel and straightened it out (or so I thought). When I checked out, still no record of payment. This time I called the hotel from home and they worked it out with Hotels.com. Overall everyone involved was very helpful, but it was close to my pain threshold. Mehr

Nice, comfy bed, clean room, bathroom is ridiculously small but workable. I would prefer they take out the couch/sitting area, making it one big room & enlarge the bathroom. This hotel was a great bargain without having to sacrifice quality and the staff was very friendly, professional and helpful. The room, which looks exactly like the picture, was clean, spacious and just as comfortable and nice as the higher grade Hyatts and other hotels I've stayed at that are much more expensive and do not include perks such as free […] internet. The only difference was it didn't have the fancy lobby, restaurants and shops, all things I can easily do without. They do have a very basic menu that is available 24/7 and continental breakfast is free. My only disappointment is there is not a Hyatt Place in some of the other cities I am planning to visit. I hope Hyatt opens these hotels in more locations very soon, as I would definitely stay there if they do. Mehr

We were looking for a nice hotel, conveniently located to the Centennial Park area. The hotel was very nice, the staff extremely helpful, and the shuttle made things so much easier!

Since I am EXTREMELY picky about hotels (thanks to news programs) and I had not stayed in this hotel before, I was quite nervous about what I would find. I literally spent hours over a few days reading reviews on different hotels before I booked this one. The "clincher" was the review that said the room matched the photos. Indeed it did! And I'm so […] glad to say I was NOT disappointed! Though it did not pass my cleanliness test with flying colors, the fact that I did not request new bedding or cleaning products to clean it myself says a lot! Would definitely stay here again. Mehr

Pros: location, value for the money, breakfast selection, room comfort and space. Cons: no hand lotion and no shower cap. Extra charge that showed up on my bank statement. Parking is $22, I received receipt for $22, however on the statement it was $25.

Clean and comfy. Good location. Wish I they had a jacuzzi. Breakfast was okay. Like that checkout was at noon. Parking lot sucks and parking is expensive (22 per day).

We went to Atlanta for a conference that was held at the Hilton downtown Atlanta. The Hilton was twice the money, the rooms were smaller and since I was traveling with my three teenagers (18, 15 & 15) we decided to stay at the Hyatt Place. I got two suites for the price of what one hotel room at the other place would have cost. If you are staying with […] family or friends and want to be close then note the queen beds are on one floor and the king beds are on another. It was two blocks over and two blocks up from the Hilton. The Hyatt Place is close to many of the higher end hotels downtown. It is 15 minutes from the airport. Hyatt Place is within easy walking distance of many Atlanta attractions. Hyatt Place has a shuttle service at no additional charge. It travels within a three mile radius and will not only take you to your destination but come pick you up when you are ready to return to the hotel. This saved us a ton in taxi services. Just a few blocks up the street is the MARTA. You can easily catch a train for $5 roundtrip to many of Atlanta's attractions. The MARTA is clean and very easy to travel by. They offer a wonderful, tasty, filling breakfast every morning at no additional charge. One night we stayed in and watched OU beat FSU and just ordered up from their 24/7 cafe. Food was good, plentiful and very reasonably priced, much better and cheaper than room service at another hotel. Most hotels have a smoking section at a corner of their establishments far away from the front door, the Hyatt Place offers a patio area with confortable seating for those who wish to indulge. It was also a great place to meet up with those poor people who attended the same conference and stayed at the Hilton for twice the money. Several of our friends spent more time at our hotel than theirs because of the hominess and welcoming staff. Everyone on the staff was friendly and most helpful.
