Nachdem sich die Asiaten über das Frühstücksbufett hergemacht hatten, wurde sehr zögerlich nachgefüllt. Eierspeisen und Speck leider nur lauwarm, wenn nicht kalt. Ein Baguett ist etwas wenig für alle Gäste. Sehr positiv: Die Minibar war inclusive!

Lage
Mitten im Geschäftsviertel von Brüssel, nicht weit von den Geschäften der Rue Neuve und dem Einkaufszentrum City2 entfernt, ragt dieses moderne Hotel empor. Es ist 1 km vom Grand Place, Kongresspalast und der Brüsseler Börse entfernt. Eine Metrostation und eine Bahnstation sind in 5 Gehminuten vom Hotel zu erreichen.
Charakteristika des Hotels
Das einen beeindruckenden Blick auf die Stadt bietende Fitnessstudio im 30. Stock verfügt über ein Hallenbad, ein modernes Fitness Center und eine Sauna. Der Aufenthalt im Hotel war OK, aber die Zimmer leider schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Die notdürftigen Renovierungen können den Anschein eines heruntergekommen Hotel dieser Klasse leider nicht trügen.
"Ideales Hotel für Kurzurlaub in Brüssel"
Sehr netter Empfang an der Rezeption, alle Fragen wurden freundlich beantwortet. Die Einrichtung der Zimmer ist etwas veraltet, aber vollkommen zweckmäßig und sauber. Das Highlight war das komfortable Queensize Bett! Helles sauberes Badezimmer, an Wasserdruck und Temperatur der Dusche gibt es nichts auszusetzen. Ideale Lage: Vom Nordbahnhof problemlos […] in 5 min zu Fuß zu erreichen, Innenstadt (Grand' Place) fußläufig in 10-20 Minuten! Das Frühstücksbüffet ist mit 26,50 Euro etwas teuer, aber gut. Insgesamt kann man in diesem Hotel ein tolles Wochenede in Brüssel verbringen - ob man die Stadt besichtigen möchte oder den Großteil der Zeit im Hotelzimmer verbringen will. Mehr

"Stay Away"
Located near the north station. Rooms in need of restoration. Although room was fully booked in advance a 100 Euro deposit was requested at check in. According to the reception the reason of this deposit is that many of the customers just don't pay their bills. Surprisingly after this deposit the contents the minibar where very basic lacking even a […] wine or liquor also no coffee/ tee making facilities where available, just 2 coffee cups. The deposit was also held on the credit card for a full week even though we only stayed 2 nights. So if you plan to use your credit card often and your limit is low it is advisable to check with your bank after staying there. Mehr
"Hotel liegt nahe am Bahnhof und am Zentrum"
Der Zustand des Bades lies zu wünschen übrig. Es bestand keine Möglichkeit selbständig die Zimmertemperatur zu regeln. Der Pool im Haus befindet sich in renovierungsbedürftigem Zustand. Im Saunabereich wird nicht auf die Einhaltung der einfachsten Hygieneregeln geachtet.
Der Pool ist sehr dreckig. Man sollte besser nicht drin schwimmen. Ansonsten war alles zur unserer besten Zufriedenheit.
"Gute Lage, aber lautes Hotel"
Das Meiste aus den bisherigen Bewertungen fand ich bestätigt. Das Hotel liegt nördlich des Centrum von Brüssel in einem Geschäftsviertel. Die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zufuß gut zu erreichen. Das Hotel liegt an einer Hauptstrasse. Nachts hörte man öfters die Blaulichtsirene. Das Hotel ist insgesamt auch eher laut. Die Zimmer sind groß, haben […] aber insb. im sanitären Bereich eine Renovierung nötig. Sauna und Schwimmbad müssten auch unbedingt renoviert / erneuert werden. Toll ist dagegen der Ausblick über Brüssel aus dem Schwimmbad heraus. Dieses liegt im 30. Stock. Der Service war gut. Im Ergebnis: Für unsere 4-tägige Städtetour waren wir recht zufrieden mit dem Hotel. Für einen längeren Aufenthalt und zur Erholung wäre uns das Hotel aufgrund der Lage zur Hauptstrasse zu laut. Bezogen auf den Wochenendtarif: für Freitag, Samstag, Sonntag, ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. An den anderen Tagen kostet die Übernachtung erheblich mehr. Das fanden wir dann nicht mehr angemessen. Wir hatten nur Übernachtung ohne Frühstück gebucht. Das ist aber auch nicht unbedingt nötig, da man in der Nähe genügend Möglichkeiten hat, zu günstigeren Konditionen zu frühstücken Mehr
"Sheraton Brussels Hotel, Place Rogier 3, Brüssel"
Das "Sheraton Brussels Hotel", liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe zur brüsseler Innenstadt, welche gut fußläufig zu erreichen ist. Die An- und Abreise ist trotz des starken Verkehrsaufkommens einfach. Der Place Rogier 3 liegt direkt an einer vielbefahrenen Straße, die bis nach Mitternacht stark frequentiert wird, daher ist es im Hotelzimmer bei geöffnetem […] Fenster relativ laut (6. Etage). Die Ausstattung des Hotels ist für 4 Sterne ausreichend, jedoch nicht überdurchschnittlich. Die Einrichtung der Zimmer ist zweckmäßig, könnte aber in absehbarer Zeit eine Renovierung vertragen. Die Betten waren gut, jedoch die Matratzen ein wenig zu weich. Fernsehempfang in deutscher Sprache nur ARD und ZDF. Über die Hotelküche können wir nichts aussagen, weil wir weder das Frühstück noch das Abendessen im Hotel eingenommen haben. Die Frühstückspreise liegen im Bereich eines deutschen Restaurantabendessens. Wir denken, dass diese Preise für Geschäftsleute vielleicht normal, für eine Familie aber überteuert sind, da das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nicht stimmt. Die brüsseler Innenstadt bietet in dieser Hinsicht für jeden Geschmack und jeden Geldbeutel das passende Restaurant. In der 30. Etage des Hotels befindet sich die Sauna, der Fittnessraum und der Pool, die uns überzeugt haben. Es ist alles sauber und modern. Der einzige Makel an diesem Bereich ist, dass die Sauna nach Geschlechtern getrennt ist. Wir wären gerne als Familie in die Sauna gegangen. Bei der Anreise mit dem eigenen Auto müssen auch die Unterstellkosten in einer Tiefgarage mit berücksichtigt werden, die auch ein Abendessen pro Tag ausmachen. Aber alles in Allem hat uns das Hotel gut gefallen und wir würden es für eine Städtereise erneut buchen. Mehr

"Perfekte Lage, perfektes Preis-Leistungverh."
Fürs lange Wochenende in Brüssel hervorragende Adresse mit sehr gutem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Lage prima, Innenstadt fussläufig durch die Fussgängerzone perfekt zu erreichen. Touristenbus für Rundfahrt - empfehlenswert beim Erstbesuch - hält direkt vor der Tür. Bahnhof Brüssel Nord vor der Tür. 2 Parkhäuser - Manhatten Center und botanischer Garten […] (jeweils 15 Euro für 24 Std.) vor der Tür bzw. im Haus. Frühstück im Hotel nicht notwendig, in der Fussgängerzone bzw. im gegenüberliegendne Einkaufszentrum gibt es - aussen an Sonntagen - alles was man mag (vegetarisch, Mc D. etc., etc.). Servie im Hotel gut. Minibar überteuert, sinnvollerweise daher Getränke im nahegelegenen Supermarkt einkaufen. Wellness-Bereich für Wochenendausflug gut geeignet. Pool sauber, Sauna o.k., Gym. ebenfalls o.k. und für Frühsport ausreichend ausgestattet. Mehr
"Prefekte Lage für Stadtbesichtigung"
Hotel günstig gelegen am Gare de Nord - 500m - Am Hotel direkt U-Bahn Station. 100m zur Fußgängerzone. Viele Restaurants drum herum. Sehr großes Frühstücksbuffet - kein wunder bei vielen Gästen aus den EMIRATEN. Kein Wunsch wird abgelehnt und sei er noch so verrückt zum Frühstück!!!

The Sheraton Brussels Hotel was very nice and actually offers King and Queen size beds which I've found unusual for Brussels. Pretty much everything was great, they even offer a fitness facility and an indoor swimming pool (although it is not heated and was freezing.}

"The Sheraton Hotel and Towers had everything"
We made a last minute booking for a weekend away in Brussels and got a great deal at this hotel. We chose it because the weather forecast was awful and we wanted to know we could stay in and enjoy the facilities if necessary. We used the fab swimming pool and sauna with snow on the roofs all around! Our room was huge - more of a suite really with its […] own dressing room - Room 2301 - with views south west over the city to the sunset. It was easy to find as it's such a landmark (and beside the metro stop), and the staff were very friendly and polite. They made us feel very comfortable. There was free wifi in the entrance lounge which was high speed and fine for us. There was a kettle etc in our room, and slippers and dressing gowns so we were very happy! The room was HUGE, clean, and comfortable. It was in a great location and I will definitely stay there again when I go back to Brussels.
Location is great. The room was spacious, clean but dated. The concierge was always busy and didn't seem to care that much. He was supposed to bring our luggage up to our room but when his shift was over he left without saying anything. We had to ask the new concierge to bring our luggage up ourselves. The personnel at check-in and check-out also didn't […] seem very interested. A little less garlic breath would've been nice as well. We had a good deal so price-quality was alright. Also, our room was at the 20-something floor so hardly any noise. Overall, the hotel is fine as long as you don't expect friendly or interested personnel. Mehr

The hotel is very nice and located about 10-15 minutes (walk) away from the centre of the town. We had a lovely room on the 24th floor with panorama view od the Brussels. Lush breakfast but slightly cold.

Good value. Large, clean rooms with a 'Green' option to forego housekeeping. Breakfast not included for us, but there's an Exki nearish by on the pedestrianised Rue Neuve where you can get a continental breakfast for €2 (except maybe not on Sundays). Otherwise not a lot of breakfast choices nearby, except for a pricey Illy attached to the hotel. We […] appreciated the hotel's proximity to the Brussels-North station, where you catch trains to Antwerp etc. The Grand Place is walking distance, so you don't feel at all isolated, even if the Sheraton isn't strictly speaking 'central'. The very near metro station, Rogier, accesses 2 quite common/useful lines. Although I'd have preferred breakfast were included, I recommend the Sheraton and would stay there again if the rates are as agreeable as they were for us over the New Year. Mehr

the hotel front desk was really terrible first they said after we already check- in already for 3 hours they said the rooms was not ours that they committed a mistake and it was for some other guest then they block the key cards for our 2 rooms. then when we went to complain why we can"t enter the room the manager instead of assisting us to get inside […] even embarassed us by trying to demand our passport which we cannot give coz they were inside our room safety deposit box. and lastly when we are checing out of the hotel we were completely shocked when they ask us to pay for the 2 rooms which we have already payed thru hoterl.com. "Birthday celebration"
8 of us went to celebrate my son's 3rd birthday. The hotel is a stone's throw from restaurants, shopping centres and the main tourist attractions (Mannekinn Pis and Grand Place etc). Very easy to get to the Atomium via the subway. Would stay there again. The real problem was the casings coming off of the wall socket and the plug which our TV was plugged […] in to. We made good use of the free safe and the free internet. 15€ ride in a taxi from the Eurostar station. Staff are not the friendliest I have encountered. They speak very good English but for this calibre hotel you would expect them to be a bit more friendly and accommodating Mehr
Good location for walking or taking the tube to the centre. Some of the reception staff were rude and had no flexibility or customer service. I was travelling with children and they wanted to charge adult price for breakfast and basically said 'take it or leave it'

good location- 3 blocks away from the Brussels North station and about 1/2 mile walk to the Grand Place. The staff was courteous, and lobby was friendly with free wifi and desk top computers for use. Whie the room was quite large, the decor could certainly use some updating, as it is more 1990 decor. Otherwise, it was well worth the money.

This is a nice, big, business-class hotel, convenient to the Gare du Nord, where the airport shuttle gets into, and with all the amenities you would expect, including (rare for a European hotel), a passable gym. We had a great time at this hotel; 2 adts & 1 9yr old booked the Club Rm & thoroughly enjoyed the Club Lounge, fitness center w/pool, & comp brkfst included. Well worth the price & location. Hotel says it is 1km from Gare Central but it is certainly further than that; had we known we would have taken a taxi rather than walked. But overall a very good […] stay; would certainly book this hotel again. Mehr

American "style" large rooms and beds. I found the hallways a bit run down. Rugs in particular appeared stained and dirty, including the one in the room. Fitness center and pool are very nice but a bit of a trip to go there as I was on the 9th floor and it was up on the 30th.

Two negatives were the prices for the mini bar and there were never enough towels which were too small anyhow would have loved bath sheets. The pool was very nice but a litle quiet.although I used it every day. The […] Boston Grill and Brussels grills next door were lovely for food. Check in and check out were very quick and easy although we were asked for a 250 euro deposit for any extras we may have had to be returned when we left but we knew nothing about this and did not have that kind of extra money so we were told we could pay for anything as we went along. there was free internet for guests. "Very nice room"
Great room + friendly staff. We got a great deal, but I gathered most of the patrons were high end consumers. One small niggle was the swimming pool, its not heated, and it was when we tried it very dirty. I mentioned it to the staff the next day and they were very surprised, and assured me it was not normally the case as the pool is cleaned regularly […] etc, so I'd be inclined to give them the benefit of the doubt, especially as the changing rooms and the gym in general was spotless. Location: Garde de Nord is about 5 minutes walk away. From there you can go north or south around the country and the city, but the metro almost infront of the hotel is sufficent. Dont go on the sightseeing buses unless you are really into the hop-on hop off again - they sell tickets from they but they are expesive, anywhere from 10-20 euros per person. The normal metro is fine. It is a bit of a walk though - so use the metro! :) There is also a pier nearby and if you go during the end of July , you will happen on an artificial beach - which is very nice to stumble on - though closes really early. The grill restaurant next to the hotel is very expensive in my opinion, there are better ones dotted around the city again, in my opinion;) Hope that helps someone ;) Mehr
