Hotel halls smelled and were dirty. First room wasn't even ready. Breakfast only had one item. No fridge. No room service after 10. No nearby food but one restaurant that is overpriced. Pool closes too early. Pros- comfy bed, decent bar area and lobby. Accommodating staff.

I was really surprised to have a huge stain on the carpet and a couch that was in such ratty condition in a room at a Sheraton. The bed was comfortable and since it had clean white bedding it seemed ok but the rest of the room didn't live up to expectations. Very dissapointed that Sheraton Hotel's don't have free Internet in the room.. Even Motel 6, and Hourly Motel's have free internet..

We stayed in the Sheraton Hotel one night Fr/Sat. The hotel is very modern and clean. Nice crowd around. We liked the bar and the bar attendant. However, if you are a couple without kids, it is a problem getting into the pool. While we were checking out, we found out that they usually have kids birthday pool parties on Fridays and Saturdays and the […] pool is busy with the kids. The rest of the stay was perfect. Mehr

We stayed here for a weekend, which was too long in my opinion. Upon entering the hotel, both the front and back doors were broken. The back door is "supposed" to be secure for guests. Every night we were there, we were greeted by an unlodged, unsecured door and with empty bottles, cigarette smoke ; and garbage in the back entrance way. There is supposed […] to be a non-smoking policy in effect at this hotel, however early the next morning my family and I were awoken to the fire alarm and again the smell of smoke in the hallways, (someone decided to smoke inside the hotel, hence setting off the alarm system). On the same day, my two-year old son, walked into the bathroom, closed the door and was "locked" inside the bathroom! It took them at least 15 minutes to respond, while my toddler was screaming/crying from the inside of the room. I had to call the front desk at least three times, before someone responded appropriately!!!.... This whole horrible experience was a joke....never again!!!! Mehr

Check in and check out were done professionalism. Was able to turn on the TV but could not navigate any features except off and on. It was not possible to adjust the thermostadt or the fan. I wanted to turn off, followed instructions but it did not work.

The hotel is not a bad place to stay. The beds or great the room is ok. My problem was the room had a faint funky smell and what looked like mildew stain in the roof.

I found this hotel to be pleasant overall but they overcharge for amenities such as $1.00+ for a local phone call, $9.95 each time you connect to Internet, $13 glass of wine, $19 glass opf scotch, and $15 breakfast of 2 eggs, 2 slices of bacon and toast. Stay here but eat and drink elsewhere unless you're on an expense account. :)

We visited relatives on Long Island and for the first time, we brought our Chihuahua. This Sheraton is pet friendly so we stayed there. They were just terrific! Friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and very clean. It had a large sofa to relax on. We have found a place to stay for all of our visits.

This hotel was convenient to where I was staying, however, no breakfast service which was tough when you want to grab and go... The carpeting was ripped throughout the room and buckling which caused a tripping hazard which was not at all attractive, and the hotel's free wifi wasn't working....however, the room was clean and the staff was friendly.

My wife and I stayed at the Sheraton Long Island for an unfortunate event, a funeral. We were warmly greeted by every staff member and made to feel very welcome. The waitstaff at the very good hotel restaurant were very quick to refill one's drink and made sure that everything was to our liking. We ate multiple times at this restaurant and were remembered […] and greeted warmly. The attendant in the little coffeeshop was always friendly and welcomed me every morning. The front desk was always willing to lend any assistance necessary and the housekeepers were among the best we ever had. Mehr

This hotel is gorgeous and right off the L.I.E clean and friendly and beautifully lobby and restaurant. I will most certainly being staying there again

I have recently stayed at a few different hotels and have found the Sheraton to be beautiful, accommodating comfortable and friendly! I will definitely stay again and recommend to friends!

Very nice atmosphere. The breakfast buffet was exceptional especially the omellete and egg cooking area. The chef provided a properly prepared omellete and were congenial and helpful. The lounge area was pleasant and comfortable.

we stayed at this hotel based on your recommendation And number of stars. Our Room 173' was a room So disgusting and dirty, it smelled, I thought we were At the Bates Motel....Scary.... Never again

Still needs alot if work. The grounds of the hotel were not maintained at all. Dead grass and neglected plants do not make a good first impression. No one asked if I had any bags that needed to br taken to the room ( I did) and had to make 2 trips while navigating my puppy on a leash. The room was okay but I knew it was a designated pet room bc of […] the unvaccuumed hair in TGE corners that my puppy kept trying to eat. Gross! The bed was clean and comfortable but the viewing options on the TV were disappointingly limited. The piece-de-resistance of my stay was the toilet that wouldn't flush the morning after my night there. Oh well I guess you can't have it all!! Mehr

Very satisfed with stay. Hotel clean, neat staff good. Will look to re-book on next trip.

We were in the area for a funeral. The location of where we had to be was perfect. Formerly from NY and in hotel industry, I was impressed with the Sheraton and the amenities of the hotel. Too bad our stay could not have been longer. The Front desk was very accodomating to our request for Early Check IN. Definitely would reccommend this hotel. Everyone was very polite and willing to help out with any request.

there was mold in the showe. the rug and chair were stain . All in all it wasn't clean and the TV remote didn't work

Looked old and outdated. Also hallways had dehumidifiers which is not a good sign. The moistness in the hallways and rooms was gross. It wasn't even humid outside. Nothing like sleeping in a damp bed. Gross.

The AC in my room was not working well. it was set at 65 and didnt go below 75 for some reason.

Only complaint was that prior guest must have over flowed the bath tub and the carpet was wet and stained from the bathroom to the bed. Not a great experience, but room otherwise clean.

The room was very clean & the bed was very comfortable! I really did not like that & had to pay $10 per night for WiFi internet & there was no type of Breakfast-not even Continental! I had to buy the breakfast at the restaurant!!

Traveled with my elderly parents (one of who is blind), directed to our room and upon opening the door there was an overwhelming smell (perhaps carpet cleaner?), we immediately knew we could not stay in this room, we called down to the front desk to tell them of the unexceptable smell and they immediately said we could switch rooms and that they would […] send someone up with the new keys which they did within 10 minutes. While we were waiting we noticed the very poor condition of the carpets-very worn and bumped up in many places-and a place on the wall where a picture had once been but was now missing and still on the wall were the old brackets just hanging there. Pretty tacky and just screamed "We don't care." Our new room smelled fine but the carpet was still in bad condition. (I was told at the front desk that they were in the process of replacing all the carpets but hadn't finished all the rooms. I guess it was just bad luck that both rooms I was offered had not had the carpet replaced yet.) I felt it was almost a safety hazard for my blind mother, otherwise the room was fine, the bedding was very nice, room was clean, had to ask for additional bath towels, 2 were provided for 4 registered guests, greatest thing about the hotel was the gym, it was the best gym I've ever seen in a hotel. They also need to get with the rest of the universe and offer free WiFi Mehr

IN Long Island for my daughters basketball tournament, hotels was very nice and girls had a good time in the pool and hanging out in the lobby with their friends. Also, bed was very comfortable! Would definitely stay there again.

First, when we went to the pool at 9am(the pool opens at 6:30) we found the pool closed and had to get someone to open the pool. I don't think I would stay at this hotel anymore because there isn't a continential breakfast(breakfast is $16). One tea bag in the hotel room. I think that we might look elsewhere when we stay on LI, not up to Sheraton standards. […] Would not honor my Sheraton card also.girl at front desk was nasty too. Mehr

The beds and pillows were VERY comfy!

Have no idea why it is less costly than others in the area. Maybe we got lucky. Bathroom a bit small but asside from that, hotel fine. Paid $3 for a cup of coffee in the lobby but given the low cost of the room, its a bargain.
