Sheraton Orlando North Hotel - Maitland

very clean, great service and terrific workout facility within the hotel

There are three types of Sheraton hotels in my opinion. Those that exceed what you typically think of when you think Sheraton, those that are average and those that remind you more of the La Quinta Inn. This on is firmly in the middle. The pool was nice and the restaurant menu was fair, although the food was good for dinner. The breakfast buffet is a little tired and the food wasn't overly fresh nor the buffet area super clean. Overall if you are looking for a Sheraton that is average this is your place. Mehr

We enjoyed our stay. The room was very comfortable and the added bonus was that it was pet friendly! We would stay here again!

Hotel is a great deal if you don't mind driving an hour to the attractions (terrible traffic). Clean enough and friendly staff. Restaurant was not up to the rest of the standard. For a $80 meal (one adult and one child), I expected better service. They seemed understaffed (only two waiters) for a full dining area. Food took long, and because of the […] overwhelmed staff, waiter was slow on follow-up. The manager was smug and unhelpful...just seemed to watch as service levels declined as more customers were seated. With such a large dining area, I would expect a larger staff during late dinner hours (when hotel guest choose to dine in-house). Mehr

Convenience stopped here and it was fine for an overnighter. Sent back the crab cakes in Bar/restaurant as they were very nasty. Wasn't charged however and was offered something else, so all good in the end.

This hotel was amazing and I'm looking to stay again very soon....

This is the second time I have stayed in this property and it will definitely not be the last. Good food, good drinks, good service and very comfy.

Great hotel for the weekend traveler. Located in a business park, this hotel has all the amenities to attract business travelers (like a fully decked out fitness facility), but is virtually empty on weekends. Food in-house is a bit expensive, but the Sunday breakfast offered for a fee was well-rounded. Need to roam around the area some to find a decent […] restaurant for dinner, but there are options. The only bad part was the resturant was very expensive.

Hotel was awesome and was worth well more than what I paid. The staff is great. They have a very nice pool and their bartender was Top notch. I had a great time.

The hotel staff was wonderful; very friendly and accommodating. The location was perfect for the wonderful weekend we had planned. I definitely plan to stay here again.

We always enjoy our stay at the Sheraton. We appreciate the cleanliness of the hotel, it's rooms and the friendly helpful staff. We always try to stay at a Sheraton whenever we travel.

Hotel is beautiful, clean, and convenient. Beds were extremely comfy and linens were plush. Room service was friendly and delicious. I can't wait to stay here again.

Gloria in the Café was very good. The signage around the pool needs to be clarified. It said the pool opened at 8:00 am and at 9:00 am. Front desk staff were gracious and helpful. I enjoyed my stay.

Every year that we have stayed here at least one elevator of three was out of service. This time two out of three were out.

First, Maitland is close to Orlando. 10 minutes in morning traffic to downtown. Beds were very nice with excellent linens. Nice baths. Hotel was recently renovated. it's not the Ritz Carlton, but if you are looking a=for a nice, business oriented hotel, this is a good one.

If you are looking for a hotel right in the middle of everything, from which you can walk to dinner at any number of exciting restaurants, look somewhere else. This hotel is in the middle of a business park and is not someplace you are going to go to as a destination hotel. That being said, the very location means that it is relatively quiet, has lots […] of parking and you don't have quite the tourist mobs that you see elsewhere. The staff was very courteous, if a bit understaffed, and the room was comfortable. One jarring note was a small washcloth that a previous resident had put up on the shower curtain bar to dry, and which had been left there by the maintenance staff. The location is convenient as a base for driving to Maitland/WinterPark/Altamonte springs area but is on the wrong side of Orlando for those looking to go to the theme parks. Mehr

nice quite bed amazing i will go back anytime

For the most part, this experience was spectacular from the time i walked in until check out. My bathroom was not thoroughly cleaned after the last guest, but i am not much of a complainer and cleaned up the shower myself. Hotel staff was great, everything else very nice and clean. Would highly recommend this hotel.

recently updated, very nice. Not croweded and convenient to I-4.

hotel was very clean,staff was pleasant and i was suprised at how luxurious the hotel looked for the price.I can recommend it to anyone and plan on staying there again

My only complaint is that the rooms are always so cold upon check in.

This hotel is clean and was in a great location for my business meetings at Maitland Center, which is why I chose it. However - there were some issues I wish I had known about in advance, such as the parking lots being repaved and that I had to move my car several times to locations farther away than I would like with all my luggage every day. They […] also turned off my water for several hours, and the door to the refrigerator in my room was falling off and hitting me in the foot. Oh, and I drank all the tea in the room on the first day and housekeeping never replaced it. BUT, the hotel bar made a nice sandwich, the Link PC area was great as usual, and it was a pretty hotel. Given that this is a Sheraton, perhaps our expectations were too high? Te room was mediocre, teh beds were too hard and the pillows offered no support. Several in our party (2 rooms, 6 guests) complained of sore necks and not sleeping well. To top it all of, the "made to order" breakfast buffet was awful. The warm food on the buffet was cold, and the […] "cooked to order" waffles were undercooked and falling apart. Better off at a Waffle House. Add to this inattentive waitstaff. On the plus side, the staff behind the check-in counter were genuinely concerned with our comments and suggestions and apoligized. We wont go back. Mehr

Nice hotel but could use some redecorating.. People and food were good. Nice business area. Bath fan was noisy. Overall a 4.

Great room, nice staff

I showed my reservation confirmation number printed out from my computer, & check in was fast & efficient. Liked the fact that there was tech support for certain wi-fi difficulties, but overall no problem with that either. Beautiful pool, quiet business park area. Lovely dining room, but not too far to drive for other dining. Enjoyed my stay.

Our room on club level seemed nice at first but the room air conditioning unit took 4 hours to cool down and outside the back window there are huge AC units the size of trucks that run 24/7 bringing constant background noise to room. The only thing that can drown it out is the noisy and weak room AC unit. if you have any trouble trying to sleep at night, […] I would avoid this hotel. Free breakfast in club level lounge was only bad dry cereal, bad bagels and old fruit. Honestly the only worthwhle thing there for me was the free bottled waters in the fridge and the coffe machine. My family and I had a pleasant stay at this location. My son is 3 and thoroughly enjoyed the pool and game room. In hotel dining choices were fair. Hotel staff was professional and cheerful. You could tell that more than a few of the staff really enjoyed their jobs. Would definetly stay again.

We take our elderly dog with us on our travels, which often means settling for accomodations that aren't that great. This pet-friendly Sheraton really was friendly to our dog (the desk clerk offered treats and petting), and the accomodations were top-notch -- great pool, gym, restaurant, grounds, location.
