Das Hotel liegt sehr gut in der Nähe des Pier von Long Beach. In wenigen Minuten ist man an der Promenade. Unser Zimmer war nicht sauber als wir angereist sind. leere Gläser, klebriger Boden usw. Nach einer Reklamation wurde das Zimmer noch mal gereinigt. Die Zimmer selber sind OK aber sehr alt und benötigen eine Renovierung. This is the nicest hotel I've stayed in Long Beach, but I wish I had a room facing the water. My only complaint was they charge a fairly steep parking fee, but the room card reader for the exit gate never worked. Leaving the garage was always a time consuming hassle. When I complained at the front desk at checkout, it would have been a nice gesture […] if they comped the parking fee, but they didn't. Mehr

We don't travel much but when we do a clean Hotel is a must. The Renaissance was very impressive, I liked that as soon as you walk into the room it smelled fresh and clean. when we arrived, there were still body hairs in the bath tub. The door of the bathroom were also very dirty.

I enjoyed staying at this hotel because it was close by everything. The night life of download Long Beach combined with a room convenient to everything around you, make this an ideal location. I don't travel often, but one of the downsides about staying at this hotel is they charge for parking per day, even if you are staying at this hotel.

Lots to do downtown. Restaurants, beach, museums in walking distance. so worth a visit.

My girlfriend and I stayed here on a Saturday night. Great location for nightlife. Everything was great. pool and jacuzzi was even open til 11pm. great view of the harbor from the jacuzzi too! loved everyelemant of this hotel. Only one complaint is $16 for overnight self parking.

The stay was nice overall. The ice machine on our floor (7th) was broken so I had to go down a floor for ice. Clean room, comfortable double beds. Parking was $16.00 a day so that sucked.

I took my girl to celebrate her birthday. It was the most convenient area I have been in. Everything was in walking distance. Movies, Food, and entertainment. Even a grocery store. Had a blast. Will go back again...

Friendly staff, clean, and great food and drinks at the hotel restaurant, Sip.

The staff is fantastic, the location is on spot for Pine Ave area, and across the street from the Convention Center. Love it. Hats off to Steve and the bell staff for an outstanding job.

Pleasant. Good service. Room could be larger for a King. Area OK, very noisy with traffic. Can walk everywhere

We were pleasantly treated to a wonderful hotel! Our stay was very comfortable and enjoyable. The front desk and Hosekeeping highly professional and the masseuse in the spa fantastic. This hotel is awesome its in a gtreat spot. Right on the corner of Ocean and Pine. You can walk to several restaurants and it's only a short walk to the beach.

Very nice the people at the front desk were great. my room was clean .It was close to everything.Was not happy that you had to pay for the parking if you came in and out.I didnot bring my car for that reason

Every member of the staff that we came across over our stay was so wonderful. They all went out of their way and above and beyond the call of duty!

I checked into a room where the bathroom was not properly cleaned. Called the front desk and they immediately upgraded me to a better room. Service was excellent. Everything was close by and within walking distance, so we don't have to pay for parking again. Even though parking was 16 per day, we walked/biked to the beach/downtown without any problems. […] Since we have to pay for parking in other areas anyway, I did not mind the parking because I could leave and enter as I please. Definitely would stay there again. Breakfast was great as well and there was a full retail Starbucks on site. I got a room with breakfast included, so that was great as well. Mehr

enjoy a typical night by the Long beach port area restaurants and clubs - memorable...specially like the Sevill arestaurant nearby the hotel.

There were no rubber mats for the tub nor were there any grab bars. We felt that the safety issue would require grab bars installed on the front and side of the tub. The bathroom was very well lit and had plenty of room. The amenities were first rate.

It was a good stay.

First off, I don't normally write reviews for ANYTHING, but this is special. I was going to a wedding rehersal dinner in Long Beach and needed a room for me and my wife for one night. I read the other reviews for several hotels in the area and went with The Renaissance Long Beach. My fingers were crossed as I hit the book it button. When we arrived […] we were greeted by a very nice lady who took care of all of our needs with a smile. The room was excellent with a lovely view of the Queen Mary. All in all the staff was excellent and we were very please with the experience. Mehr

It was the best hotel out of four different hotels we stayed at. I have only one negetive comment, parking charge of $16.00 a day was a shock.

Amazing quality for the price I got through hotels.com! Super clean and comfortable! Only complaint is the high price of parking and had to park at top of the garage because the lower levels were all reserved for valet parking.

My stay at the hotel was a last minute decision. I'm glad I made it! The hotel is wonderfully located in the heart of LB. Everything was within walking distance. The room was clean and well maintained. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there. I would stay here again!

My Husband and I had the most awesome time! Everything was in walking distance, it was relaxing I would go again in a heart beat!! THANKS!!!

We enjoyed LB Pride the best way we could think of, with the entire family: our two dogs. I loved this hotel and it's dog friendly staff. Thank you to the management and everyone who allowed us to bring our dogs.

Very nice room with VERY comfortable beds...We would have staid longer if we had the time.

This hotel was fabulous! The staff bent over backwards to accomodate. The food was great and the room was spectacular. All of our needs were met with a smile. The location is wonderful and the transportation on the Passport shuttle was inexpensive and easy to access. Great hotel, the surrounding neighborhood is ok

I stayed at this hotel for four days and was able to walk to places of interest and restaurants. I was also able to take the local bus service free, which made my stay much easier. I would recommend this hotel for business or pleasure trips,.

We checked in easily and the front desk clerk gave us a stellar recommendation for a Latin restaurant with great food, reasonable prices and fantastic Flamenco floor show. The room was clean and comfortable, and although the view was of a parking structure, we got a deal through Hotels.com so we weren't expecting to see the Queen Mary from our room. The […] hotel is conveniently located across the street from the Long Beach Convention Center and very close to the Long Beach Aquarium. The street on the west side of the hotel has several fine restaurants so there is no lack of dining steps from the hotel. There is a Starbucks in the Hotel that opens at 6:00 am, so say goodbye to expensive and watery room service coffee and stale breakfast pastries from some sad corporate buffet. The staff was cordial and housekeeping very responsive and helpful. We came down for an event and needed one room for two nights and an additional room for others in our party for one night. The event was canceled while we were down there and we were able to cancel the reservation for the second room because the Renaissance was kind enough to waive all penalties. The Renaissance charges for everything extra, such as wifi access or business center access, but they do offer complementary online flight check-ins and printing. In today's world of smart phones the need for wifi is limited and so you can save yourself a few bucks a day. Parking is extra, but at most better hotels there is no free parking. In short, the hotel is a great place for a brief stay and has most conveniences any traveler would want and all that a traveler would need. Mehr

This hotel was in a great location, close to restraunts, shopping, and entertainment. Perfect location for anyone goint to the Long Beach Convention Center. The best secret is the fire pit by the pool at night.

Really, really enjoyed our stay at this Hotel. Everything was convenient, clean and comfortable. Unfortunately for our next stay in that area no rooms where available. But I will continue to check availability for all our future stays......Excellent Stay...Didn't want to leave the comfort of our room

I had a great experience here. The hotel staff was polite as could be. The hotel bar had decently priced food and drinks. My room was clean as could be and the bed was very comfortable. It's less than a 5 minute walk to the Long Beach convention center, which was my reason for being in LBC.

I had items stolen from my room!!!!!!!!!!!

The hotel though it was very nice they charge you for everything parking. Valet is $20 every time you park. $16 to park in the garage each time you go in. So expect if you plan on seeing the area to receive bill for an extra $100 to $200 just for having a car. Really surprised me when I woke up on the last day to have a $160 bill.

Speedy check in, always stay in the club room! The club lounge had a great selection of drinks and foods throughout the day.
